Chapter 06: Admission Office Encounter

Yeji's POV

"Why, Hello there! Come In! Sit down! Make yourself comfy!" The person in charge said, while smiling.

"Okay..." I replied to her, and then smiled back.

While waiting for my turn, I decided I should listen to some music. And I was in luck, Fiesta by IZ*ONE, I always wanted to listen to it. While, it was playing I was tapping my feet to the ground while listening to it, the song quickly passed, the next ones was Psycho by Red Velvet, Uh-Oh by (G)I-DLE, Crossroads by GFRIEND, Spring Day by BTS and many more.

While, waiting I didn't, notice that there were boys who came in and that's when they called my number, so I went near her. She introduced herself.

"Hi! I'm Kim Dahyun, head of the Admission Office!" Miss Dahyun said, while smiling.

Whoa, she looks so pale; she looks like an Angel, or maybe a Fairy, or maybe Tofu? She also has a Radiating Aura around her.

"Hi, I'm Hwang Yeji!" I said, while introducing myself to her.

"Oh, wait just a moment; let me check the systems, okay?" Miss Dahyun said while typing so fast on the Computer, trying to look up my name.

"Umm, Ms. Kim?" I said, trying to call her attention out.

"Oh. Ms. Kim, sounds a bit too Professional, Just call me Dahyun or Dubu." Dahyun eonni said, while still being focused on the computer.

"O-okay, Dahyun eonni." I said. I admit that statement took me back, a bit.

"Yes?" Dahyun eonni asked.

"Umm... I'm new here..." I said

"Oh, so that's why I couldn't see your registration file." Dahyun eonni said, while laughing out loud.

I quickly took a glance, around and noticed everybody in the Office was looking at us. I'm not used to attract this much attention, before.

"So, that's why, I never found one of your files, you're a new student!" Dahyun eonni said, to her colleague.

"Wait, she's a new student?" A cute little woman, who looks like she shorter than me.

"Yes!" Dahyun eonni said, to the woman.

"Oh my goodness! We haven't had a new student for a very long time!" The Girl, who's short, shouted, making the situation worst, as EVERYBODY in the whole office started to whisper to each other.

"I know right? I think, I forgot how to make the form for new Students... The last time we had a New Student, was A group, right? Chaeng?" Dahyun eonni said, while looking at the woman who just entered.

"Yes, they are, I think they're called ITZY?" The girl, called "Chaeng" said.

I was just looking at the both of them, while they were having their talk. Not wanting to interrupt the moment up.

"Oh! My bad! I still haven't introduced myself yet, my name is Son Chaeyoung! I'm a Colleague of Dubu eonni!" Miss Chaeyoung said to me.

"Oh, Hi! Miss Chaeyoung!" I greeted her.

"Please call me Chae!" Chae eonni said, while smiling.

"Umm... okay, Chae eonni." I said, and smiled at her.

"Dubu eonni, can I please, get her pretty please with a Cherry on top!" Chae eonni said, while doing cute gestures or aegyo around Dahyun eonni.

"Okay, fine, since I forgot how to make the form for new Students." Dahyun eonni said to Chae eonni.

"Please follow her, Yeji." Dahyun eonni said, while instructing me.

I quickly followed her instructions, for there are a lot more people on the line, waiting for their number to be called.

"So, fill up this form while, I will be making your forms online, and please give me your Birth Certificate, High School Diploma, Form 137 (Grades), Good Moral, and Medical Certificate." Chae eonni said, and gave me a form to answer.

I quickly gave her the Envelope, and got the form, I quickly answered it, as it only contained so personal questions. Like Birth Name, Place of Birth, Date of Birth, Parents, Siblings, and things like those you commonly see on forms.

After, I finished filling up the form, she was busy typing on her Computer about the my personal details. I think she noticed that, I had nothing to do, so she started to ask some questions for me to answer, before I knew it, we were already friends.

We shared some things about ourselves, like; did you know she likes the color Red? That she has a Group of Friends, and there are nine of them including Dahyun eonni! That's she's the second Shortest out of all of them. That she likes to Rap, in her free time. That she was born in the year 1999 of April? I learned so many things about her.

"And.... Done! I'll take a look at your form, wait, why is it only one?" Chae eonni said, and asked for the form to be handed in.

"You only gave one to me earlier..." I said, feeling a bit guilty.

"Oh! Silly me, wait I have something to give you." Chae eonni said, while looking for another form.

"Here please answer this, so if something happens to you we would know what's happening, what to do, and who to contact." Chae eonni, while smiling showing off her dimples.

"Oh, Okay, wait, I'll contact my mom, so she guide me on what to answer." I said to Chae eonni, she just gave me quick thumbs up.

"Yes, Sweetie? Did something happen?"

"No, nothing happened, It's just that Chae eonni, is asking me to answer another form about my health, so since, your my mom, I'm going to ask you about things that I don't know."

"Sweetie?"

"Hmm?"

"Who's Chae eonni?"

"Oh. She's an officer here in the Admission Office."

"Oh... okay. Sweetie?"

"Yes?"

"Could, you... give the phone to the Officer? I want to talk to her?"

"Yeah, sure."

After that talk with mom, I asked Chae eonni, if it's okay that my mom talks to her. And she said yes. I could honestly only hear Chae eonni's Side, and not Mom's.

I see Chae eonni writing down something in a piece of paper. After that, I heard her, saying goodbye to Mom. She then, ends the call.

"Okay, Yeji! You're all set! Your mom will be the one answering, that form, for you." Chae eonni said.

"Wait what?" I asked, as I was very confused.

"Your, mother said, the she'll be the one to answer that form, for you." Chae eonni said.

"Oh. Okay, Thanks, Chae eonni! I'm going to go now!" I said, while walking towards the door.

"Bye, Yeji!!" I heard Chae eonni say.

Finally! I'm done with the entire registration thing to this school! I can finally rest!

Author's POV

Yeji, was already finished with her registration, while trying to find her way out again, of this huge school. But, then, when Yeji just thought she was already out, she just found herself in another situation. Yeji met the Girls that helped her, Navigate this Huge Maze of a School. Yeji then, quickly went towards them to say 'Thank You'.

"Hello! Aren't you guys, the one that helped me earlier?" Yeji asked the Girls, that she just encountered with.

The girls quickly turned around. Surprised to see Yeji, Smiling at them.

"U-umm... Yes, why?" The brown haired one said, clearly surprised.

"I just want to say, Thank you, for helping me Navigate this huge, School of yours..." Yeji said.

"Oh, you're Welcome!" The black haired girl said

"By the way, what's your name? We didn't happen to ask for it earlier." The pink haired girl said to Yeji, which shocked Yeji, and the other 3 girls.

"Umm..." Yeji said, awkwardly.

"I'm so sorry! About her, well us, I guess, it's just we never got your name earlier... So we were curious..." The brown haired girl said

"Oh..." that's all what Yeji said to them.

"It's okay, if you don't want to say it." The pink haired girl said, while looking down.

"No, no, it's fine! My name is Hwang Yeji." Yeji said to the pink haired girl.

When Yeji said that, the other Girls eyes lit up in happiness, after that they looked at each other, and started laughing.

Yeji, thought, she was being made fun of once again, just like in her old school, she wanted to run away, from this, from them. But it looks like, the pink haired girl noticed, her quietness, and started introducing herself.

"Hi! My name is Shin Ryujin! Nice to meet you! You can call me Ryujin." Ryujin said and then smiled.

After that, all of them started introducing themselves.

"Hi! My name is Choi Jisu! Nice to meet you~ just call me Lia." Lia said, and showed her famous eye smile.

"Hi, my name is Lee Chaeryeong! It's nice to finally meet you Yeji! Please call me Chaeryeong." Chaeryeong said, while smiling.

"Hi! I'm the Cutie Tall Maknae of ITZY, and my name is Shin Yuna! Just call me Yuna." Yuna said, while happily clapping her hands.

It took a while, before it actually hit Yeji, with what the blonde haired girl said.

"Umm, Yuna, did you just say 'ITZY' earlier?" Yeji asked, while looking at Yuna.

Yuna and the other's were hesitant, but Yuna still answered.

"Umm, yes, yes I did." Yuna replied to answer Yeji's Question

"So you guys were the last ones to Transfer here, before me?" Yeji asked again, as curiosity filled her eyes

"Yes, well, the three of us, Lia eonni, transferred here earlier than us." Chaeryeong answered Yeji's question

"How long has it been, when you guys transferred?" Yeji asked once again.

"2 to 3 years? Oh, And by the way why, are you asking us questions like this?" Ryujin asked, getting curious.

"Well, back in the Admission Office, Dahyun eonni, and Chae eonni, said it has been a while ever since another new student came to this school, and they said ITZY was the last one to enter before me." Yeji explained to them.

"Oh." The other four girls respond to Yeji.

"So, that's why you were so curious of us." Ryujin replied back to Yeji.

"Yep! I was so curious when I heard, I was a new student, and they said they weren't expecting one. So let me get this straight, ITZY was originally, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna?" Yeji asked, and the others nodded their heads

"Then, Lia joined, when you guys came into this school?" Yeji asked, again the Girls nodded their heads, but then their chat was cut off by Yeji's Mom picking her up.

Yeji quickly said Goodbye to ITZY and got in the car. With her mother, waiting for her inside it, at the driver's seat.

'They weren't so bad after all...' Yeji thought.

But then Yeji realized something, she hadn't gotten their phone numbers. Yeji wanted to ask her mom to pull over, or maybe go back to school, but then again, she was going to their school, in just a couple of months, so they'll certainly meet again. Once, that happens, she'll ask for their Numbers and hopefully become friends with them.
