"Devan? Wake up, bud."

Devan groaned as his eyes opened, finally making out Collins as he let out a groan.

"What happened?"

"Veronica and Vanessa. They kidnapped you, then came to the meet up. Veronica Threatened the Keypers with a knife unless I came with them. I don't know what Vanessa did to you."

"I feel dizzy and a bit disoriented." Devan admitted as he watched the room spin, making him close his eyes as he felt Collins gently laying a hand on his shoulder.

"Sounds like she drugged you. Probably chloroform."

Devan nodded before he felt the reassuring hand on his shoulder leave and a long silence except footsteps. He finally managed to open his eyes, only to see Veronica standing in front of them holding her knife, making his heart leap into his throat, as she kneeled down next to him as Vanessa came in, crossing her arms before Veronica knelt down beside Devan, holding the knife inches away from his face.

"Something tells me you're scared."

Devan had to swallow to keep himself from hyperventilating as he spoke.

"Well yeah, you captured me, and almost killed me while misleading my brother."

"Oh please. What I did last time is NOTHING compared to what's about to happen." She told him as she made a small cut on his face with the knife before suddenly grabbing his arm, yanking him up before leading him out.

Collins eyes widened as she watched her leave with his younger brother before turning to Vanessa.

"Where is she taking him?"

Vanessa chuckled as she pulled him up.

"That all depends on you, Collins. It's time for you to meet the person behind this."
