"Alright, Devan. I'm gonna help you upstairs." Vanessa told him as he nodded slowly, leading her to gently sling his arm over her shoulder before slowly helping him limp to the main house. "Don't put weight on that leg."

They slowly walked upstairs but she stopped right outside the door, pulling something out of her pocket.
"It's Collins's key. I switched it out for a fake one to confuse my dad and sister." She told him, putting it around his neck.

"Thank you, Nessa... For everything."

"You're welcome." She told him, before kissing his lips, as he leaned into the kiss as well.

She broke off a second later, brushing her brown hair behind her ear.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't-" She started before being cut off by him kissing her again.

"It's OK, Vanessa."

She smiled as she opened the door, which lead into the living room that the cops had gathered into, and they were immediately crowded around as they started to get him loaded into a ambulance.

"Ma'am, we need to take you in for questioning." The officer told her as she nodded, following them into the cop car.

Collins was a nervous wreck, however as he paced in front of Leah's couch, biting his nails before his phone rang, which he rushed to pick up.

"Hello?"

"Yes, this is the Malibu police, we found Devan Key."
