Someone coughed behind us, making me stop talking.

Y/N immediately raised her head and looked behind her, as if she knew who it was.

Her eyes widened a bit as she stared at the person.

''What are you doing here-'' She started.

A little startled of her reaction, i decided to turn my head. It was dark, but in a few seconds i had figured out who it was.

I saw..

''Y/N..'' The voice spoke.

Kai..

I knew it.

''I asked, what are you doing here.'' Y/N said again, this time it didn't sound like a question anymore. She sounded mad?

Did something happen between them? And how come i don't know about it?

''Y/N i want to talk to you-'' Kai said. Before he could say anything else, Y/N pulled me with her while she got up from the bench.

''And i don't want to talk with you.'' She answered before walking away.

What? What's happening?

I was confused and looked at Kai with a questioning look on my face. He didn't say anything and looked at Y/N walking away. I quickly ran after her, still not knowing what exactly was happening.

As i catched up with her, i looked behind me of Kai was following. But he wasn't.

''Hey- What's wrong? So you do know him?'' I had so many questions to ask. She didn't react and continued to walk home.

Should i keep asking? Before i could answer my own question, i heard a slight sob coming from my side. Is she crying? I felt a lump in my throat and swallowed it away. I couldn't help it, knowing she was crying for a reason i didn't knew about.

''What's wrong Y/N-'' I asked again and looked at my side, having to see tears rolling down on her cheeks.

Still no reaction.

I stopped her by grabbing her wrist, she immediately stopped walking and accidentally bumped into me.

I let go of her wrist and decided to put my arms around her, pulling her further in. Like that i hugged her for a few minutes. Her sobs got louder as she tried to stop herself from crying, but she couldn't.

''It's okay, cry as much as you want-'' I said as my hand stroke through her hair.

After some time she decided to pull out and looked at me, eyes red and puffy. Even tho she didn't look at her best, she still was the cutest thing i had ever seen.

''Tell me, what's wrong..'' I asked for the third time, hoping to get the answer.

''It's nothing, i don't want to talk about it-'' She said as a few tears started sliding down again.

This is the second time i've seen her cry, not knowing the cause of it. Yesterday she cried, on her own, and now this. What has Kai done to her for her to feel like this?

My hand found it's way to hers without me realizing. I held her hand, we started walking again. It's better if i bring her home. Who knows, maybe Kai's going to show up again if we keep standing here.

Once we arrived at her home, she had calmed down already. She opened the front door and we quickly got in. A few tears still hadn't dried up, so i quickly brushed them away with my thumb.

She gave me a thankful smile and walked to to living room. As i followed i decided to ask her something i maybe shouldn't ask.

''Do you want me to stay over for the night?'' I asked. Maybe she doesn't want to be alone, you know, maybe Kai knows where she lives.

But even before i got an answer, i covered my mouth. Did i actually just had the balls to ask her that? I'm so stupid, stupid question.

''If you don't mind..'' She said.

Wait what? Was that a yes?

''Wait- Was that a yes?'' I asked a little startled.

''If you don't mind like- If you don't want to- It's fine-'' She stuttered.

She quickly hit herself and laughed awkwardly.

''I mean.. It's weekend anyways, what if he knows where i live- You know.'' She explained.

She's referring to Kai right? Yeah, probably.

''I don't mind, if you feel safe with someone around you.. Then of course i'll stay.'' I answered almost immediately.

''But you don't have any clothes to sleep in-'' She said.

''It's fine, i can sleep in the clothes i'm wearing right now.'' I said.

''Okay then, i'm going to change now.. It's already getting late.'' She told me while walking to the stairs.

"You can wait downstairs, i'll be back in a few minutes." She said before actually going upstairs.

Am i really staying over for the night?
