Chapter Eleven: Scars
MONDAY
Callie was going through her locker as Minnie stood beside her Callie pulled out her binder.
"So how did it go with your moms?" Callie asked as she put her binder in her bag.
"My moms were kinda pissed," Minnie admitted. "I missed curfew."
Callie chuckles. "Oh shit, will they ever let you out again?"
"Actually I think so," Minnie said. "We're working on trust. Why? What are you thinking?"
"I was thinking," Callie started. "Us, bowling, tomorrow night. Millwood Lanes at 7:00, would that be cool?"
"Yeah, yeah," Minnie said as Callie closed her locker. "That would be cool."
Callie smiled as she went to stand in front of Minnie. "Great… it's a date."
Callie walked away with a proud smile on her face.

SANTON HOUSE
Callie lay on the couch as she was on her phone texting when there was a knock on the front door.
Sighing as she got up, she walked towards the door. Opened it and she saw an older man standing in front of it.
Tilting her head as she observes the man.
"Hi," the man said as Callie only stared at him.
"Uh, hi?" Callie said as she was confused by the stranger standing outside of her home. "May I ask why you are here?"
"This is Audrey Santon's house?" The man asked Callie nods her head. "Is she here?"
"No," Callie said. "Come back later when she is."
Callie goes to shut the door, but the man puts him out to stop it from fully closing.
"If you don't mind," the man started. "I would like to wait here."
"I do mind,' Callie said. "Look I don't know whoever the fuck you are, nor do I care to."
"Wow, you got a little mouth on you," The man laughed as Callie glared at him. "Like mother, like daughter."
"What do you know about my mom?" Callie questions.
"A lot more than you do," The man said.
"Look you have five seconds to get the fuck off my property," Callie stated. "Or else I call the police and have them haul your ass in jail."
"You're not gonna do that," The man said.
"Oh yeah?" Callie questioned as she tried to close the door again but the man still had his grip in between.
"Look I'm not here to start trouble," the man said. "I just really need to see your mother."
"You're acting like a psycho stalker," Callie said as she tried to force the door to close. "Just leave already." Callie loses the pressure she had on the door as she backs away from the door, getting in a fighting stance. The man looked at her with raised eyebrows. "I know Krav Maga, you bastard."
"I'm not here to hurt you," The man said as he raised his hands. "I could never hurt you or your mother."
"I don't care what you say," Callie said as she shook her head. "I'm not letting you inside this house." The man tries to step in but Callie is quick on her feet as she strikes him in the groin with the leg as the man groans as she delivers another kick on his face as falls backward. Callie goes to the closest near the door, grabbing her bow and arrow. Aiming at the unknown man. "Now tell me who the fuck you are."
"Callie?" Audrey said as she came up to the door with a shocked look present on her face as she looked at her daughter and the man on the fl as her expression suddenly changed to anger. "Daniel? What the hell are you doing here?"
"You know this man?" Callie asks but receives no response. "Mom?"
"This man," Audrey started. "Is…you're father."
Callie lowers her bow in shock as she stares at the man on the ground who was still in pain.

TUESDAY
Callow and the girls were in the library as they listened to Imogen talk.
"So, this guy, he told us that Angela Waters' mom was committed to the Radley Sanitarium in Rosewood," Imogen said.
"Okay," Faran said. "But are we sure we can trust a man who lives in a train car?"
"Stellar point," Tabby said as she pointed towards Faran.
"And just to ask a question," Minnie said. "Is there any universe in which… creepy train guy is A?"
"Absolutely," Imogen said.
"Except for the fact that he didn't try to kill us," Tabby said. "Definitely a person of interest."
"Anyway," Imogen said. "We looked up the Radley Sanitarium. A few years ago, it was shut down and turned into a hotel. Mr. England…"
"Aka Crazy Joe," Tabby said.
"Confirmed what we've all been suspecting," Imogen said. "That our moms are all connected to whatever happened to Angela Waters, which we think is why… A's targeting us."
"Therefore, if we can figure out what went down between Angela and our moms from someone other than our not forthcoming moms-," Tabby said.
"It might help us figure out who A is," Callie said.
"So," Imogen started. "Tabby and I thought, what if we skip the rest of the day and road trip to Rosewood?"
"'Thelma and Louise's style," Tabby said.
"To find someone who knows Rose Waters and can tell us about her," Imogen said.
"Or, maybe, we hit the jackpot and actually find Rose Waters," Tabby said. "I've got my boss's car."
"Oh," Minnie said.
"They have a spa," Imogen said. "And I have party cash."
"Uh-uh," Faran said. "This recruiter from ABT is here today. Also, my mom and 'Swan Lake' is tomorrow night, and you all better be there."
"Yeah," Noa agreed. "I have to keep an eye on my mom."
"And I kinda, sorta have plans," Minnie said as she made eye contact with Callie.
"Callie?" Imogen asked the silent girl, concerned by her unusual behavior.
"I can't go," Callie said. "Minnie and I have plans"
All the other girls looked at the two, smiling. "I am so shipping this, "Callinie' needs to be canon."
Callie and Minnie both laughed.
"Guess it's just you and me," Imogen said. "Do you wanna be Thelma or Louise?"
"Good either way," Tabby said. "But I am not driving a cliff for anyone."
"Fair," Callie said.
Imogen looked at Callie as realization dawned on her. "Hey Callie," Imogen said.
"Yeah," Callie said.
"Don't you have a cousin who lives in Rosewood?" Imogen said as the other girls looked at Callie surprised. "I remember you mentioned quite a few times how you have a cousin who you talk to once in a blue moon, and sometimes went to visit her."
"Yeah," Callie said. "Though she's my half-cousin who once lived there, but now she teaches at a university far away. Now that you mention it, my mom went to Rosewood a month ago, to see my cousin's friend about her upcoming business."
"What kind of business?" Tabby asked.
"She's a fashion designer," Callie said. "But just for safety purposes, be careful when entering that town."
"Why would we need to be careful?" Imogen asked.
"Because like I told my mother," Callie said. "That totally an attraction for death." The girls all looked at each other confused and somewhat worried. "Leave a trail of dead bodies, just check the kill count."
"You're kidding right?" Tabby asked as she laughed along with other girls, but stopped upon seeing the serious look on Callie's face. "Oh, you're not kidding. You'tellinging the truth."
"Yep," Callie said. "My aunt and her friends went through something tragic in their teenage years and I don't want you guys getting hurt over there. Just be careful and especially around those people you don't know."
"We will," Imogen reassures.

MILLWOODS LANES
Callie held the bowling ball in her hand as she took a deep breath before gently releasing the ball towards the aiming pins as she knocked them all out.
She turns around smiling happily as Minnie hugs her hug as Callie spun her around.
It was Minnie's turn to bowl, so Callie was showing her what to do. Minnie released the bowl aiming for the one pin left but it went past as Callie grimaced as she laughed.
Minnie playfully pushed as Callie grabbed a bowling ball as she was ready for her turn, Minnie kissed her on her cheek and pushed Callie to the center.
Callie missed the pins as the ball had gone in the gutter she turned to Minnie as they both smiled Minnie pointed her thumbs down as Callie rolled her eyes.
Both girls were happy as Callie spun Minnie around as they both girls shared a passionate kiss.
Minnie let Callie go again as Callie this time made a strike at the pins.
Callie turns to Minnie as she walks up to her.
"Hey," Callie called out. "Did you see that one, I almost got a spare at that time."
"Um," Minnie said. "Uh, I'm suddenly starving, will you get us some nachos?"
"Sure," Callie said. "I'm kinda thirsty anyway."
Calle smiled as she pecked Minnie's lips before walking away.
After a few minutes, Callie came back with the food and drinks but saw Minnie wasn't there. Looking around she spotted Minnie talking to an old man, setting the food down on the table, Callie walked towards the two in confusion.
"Hey," Callie said as she stopped in front of Minnie. "What's up?" Callie looked at the man as she observed him. "Who's this?"
"He's um," Minnie trained off.
"Hi there," the man said. "I'm Mouse's dad."
Callie looked at Minnie for confirmation. She was surprised as the man held out his hand for Callie.
"Yeah, he's my dad," Minnie said as Callie then decided to shake the man's hand, although she was still suspicious of him. "This is a very long story."
"I'm Callie," Callie introduced herself. "Minnie and I go to Millwood High together."
"Oh," the man said. "Pleasure to meet you, Callie."
Callie was weirded out by the man that claimed to be Minnie's father.
"Actually Callie," Minnie said. "I'm not feeling… too great, uh, more nauseous and starving now can we please get out of here?"
Callie looked at Minnie in concern as she took Minnie's hand in hers.
"Yeah," Callie said. "Of course, let's go."
Callie stared at the man in front of her as she led Minnie away.

HONRADA HOUSE
Callie parked her car on the side as she was in front of Minnie's house.
It was a silent yet awkward drive between the two as they had stopped at Pinball Pizza to get some food before leaving.
"Sorry," Minnie butter out as Callie looked at her confused. "We left early because of me and I felt like I ruined it."
"Don't apologize," Callie said as she placed her hands over Minnie's. "It's okay, you didn't feel too good."
"Still," Minnie said. "I made things awkward now."
"You didn't do anything awkward," Callie reassured. "I'm more concerned about you, are you okay?"
"Y-Yeah," Minnie stutters. "I'm fine, just really bummed that this had to end so early."
"Well next time we'll just have to do something more productive," Callie said. "And less crowded with creepy fathers who stalk their daughters."
"About that," Minnie said. "I'm sorry… for him appearing out of nowhere."
"Stop apologizing," Callie said as she leaned back in her seat. "I mean it, as much as I find it cute, hearing that word can get annoying sometimes. So don't say it anymore. "
"Okay," Minnie said as it was now silent between the two, Minnie looked over to Callie who was on her phone, staring at it oddly. "Are you okay?"
"What?" Callie asked as she looked up from her phone.
"You seem anxious right now,' Minnie said.
"I'm fine," Callie said. "Just a little tired."
"I guess I should go inside," Minnie said as Callie nodded her head. "So I guess this is goodnight."
"Yeah," Callie said as Minnie opened her door. "Goodnight."
Minnie closed the door as she walked towards her house as Callie started her car as she drove away.

WEDNESDAY
SANTON HOUSE
Callie walked downstairs the stairs as she heard arguing, going straight to the living room as she saw her mother and sadly her father.
"What's going on?" Callie asked as she stood a few feet away from them.
"Calliope," Audrey said. "You're up early."
"I have school," Callie replied. "What's up with you and this asshole?"
"Calliope," Audrey chided. "Your father was just leaving."
"Good," Callie said. "It's bad enough you let this man stay the night."
"Uh," Daniel said. "This man is your father's young lady and you will show him some respect."
"Please," Callie scoffs. "The day I respect you is the day I will die. Just go back to where you came from, cause we were doing just fine without you."
"Calliope-," Daniel said.
"Don't," Callie said harshly. "You have no right to call me by my name. As far as I know, strangers. You haven't cared about it in 10 years." Callie glared at Daniel. "You think you could just walk up in here and think everything will be the same as you left it? Well you're damn wrong cause you hurt the one person in this household who loves despite everything you done to her… to me." Callie glanced at her mother as she took a step towards Daniel. "So I'll tell you this again and listen clearly. Get. The. Fuck. Out." Daniel didn't move as Callie had tears in her eyes along with Audrey. "NOW!"
Daniel finally moved his feet as he reluctantly left the household as Callie went to her knees and started crying.
Audrey went to her daughter as she brought her in for a hug. "Calliope," Audrey comforts her daughter as she too cries.

MILLWOOD HIGH SCHOOL
Callie stood in front of the bulletin board with girls as they were waiting for Faran's performance.
"Wow," Imogen said. "She really went there."
They all stared at Faran's photo.
"I think it's beautiful," Minnie said.
"Me too," Callie agreed.
"Same," Tabby said. "Her bio is super intense though."
"Good for Faran," Imogen said. "I'm proud of her."
"Totally," Tabby agreed.
"Maybe afterwards," Minnie said. "We can take her out for pizza and you can tell us what happened in Rosewood."
Both Tabby and Imogen exchanged looks. "Yeah." Imogen said.
"Oh shit," Noa said as she motions to Corey Faran's mother.
The girls moved out of the way as they went inside the auditorium.
Callie and girls minus Noa and Faran sat in the seats close to each other as they conversed.
The lights dimmed as the curtains opened as the play began, Callie and the girls all clapped.
🅰️
The girls including Faran stood outside of the auditorium as Faran and finished her performance.
There was a crowd with them as they all clapped for Faran.
"You were incredible," Imogen said as Faran hugged her the hugged Noa.
"No joke," Tabby said. "You put the entire cast of center stage in the shade." Faran hugs Tabby.
"You owned the stage," Callie said as she snapped her fingers.
Faran hugged Callie as she returned the embrace as they both let go as Faran hugged Minnie.
"Faran," Minnie said as Faran's father Zeke walked up to them.
"Daddy what's up?" Faran asked.
"Grab your things, we gotta go," Zeke said.
"Why?" Faran asked. "What's wrong?"
"Your mom was in an accident," Zeke said. "She's at the hospital right now."
Zeke walked away as Callie and the girls looked at Faran in concern.
A/N: Can you guys guess who Callie's cousin is? And what are you thoughts on this episode.
