Chapter 45 :Truth and Lies

Eli and Ares are mates, right? Yeah, I kind of knew that. Was it just me, or was it just obvious? I was so giddy that I couldn't stop gushing and I literally threw Ares into a hug no, a bone-crushing one. But she recoiled and laughed as Eli watched her with a smile on his cute face. Zale stared wide-eyed and frozen, his lips pressed into a thin line as I whipped my head and stared at him expectantly to congratulate, but he growled and slapped my hand from him and then Ares growled protecting each other. I just stopped and looked at them.

"What exactly is a Shadow wolf?" Zale asked, cocking his head as he gawked at him as his blue eyes flickered eerily like a light bulb. Eli sighed in defeat and muttered. He whipped his head angrily and used his hands to prevent Ares from touching him. "You're ...You're... a Specalis... is anyone not normal- "Zale shouted manically, as a crowd of wolves formed.

The tribe leader walked around, looking at Elias with a tight scowl. A smirk. "Boy, feast your eyes on this. There are more creatures than werewolves and we... we will rip your superiority out of your face."Suddenly, he twitched as a vein protruded and glared at me in fear as he looked at me wide-eyed and then he flashed, looked at them and grinned at me. The bonfire shadows dancing like monsters on his wrinkled face.

"Everything you experience is only here to strengthen you, but everything pretty comes at a price, Young Luna. You'll regret knowing the truth that everyone holds."He muttered. I gulped and turned, trying not to face his shivering stare.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean!" I shouted, my voice raised with anger , peering at the crowd. The leader stepped forward and peered at me. He breathed wearily and tapped his shoulder. Eli looked at him and he sighed in defeat.

A shadow-wolf is a creature made of demon and werewolf genes that are most dominant, causing bizarre side effects in their offspring. They comprise darkness and anger, or all negative emotions. They are mad and potentially that's why they all need to be contained as a tribe, clan or a pack.

They can travel through the shadow world, all the dark realms or the Never-world by splitting their atoms and creating a wormhole or teleportation through portals or the universe but it can only shift into their way through form only until they accept who they are. Their fur colour is usually black, different shades of the night and they often look like stalks, or giant, monstrous beasts with ragging tentacles made of atoms and dims. They need to be taught before crazy crap happens. Before they completely morph into their actual forms, which can be dangerous. Eli looked at me, Zale, and kissed Ares' cheek before puffing into a dark mist. I stood there wide-eyed and looked at them.

What the fuck just happened?

Honestly, I don't know?

***

It was a chilly autumn afternoon as I breathed the air as brown leaves danced in beautiful rings as the sun filtered through them as a warm gust of wind formed beautiful patterns. I watched as the tall trees slowly transitioned from a vivid green to a warm orangey colour. Brittle Leaves cascaded spirally through the crisp air.

I passed through a path of tall deciduous trees of beautiful colours and hues of orange, red and brown and some yellow as I gripped my black leather jacket and rubbed my palms to generate heat and brought it to my mouth. I snapped my head, and I spotted heaps of dried leaves. I walked further onto the cobblestoned path from the woodland to the pier and I glimpsed children all bundled up in winter or warm clothes while scampering around catching leaves and throwing them. Some were playing tag and some lodging around. Kids stomping and jumping on the dead leaves.

Phew, I've never experienced winter as a were-witch in the middle of a crisis as the humans (feeling bitter and weird saying it now) wore their winter clothes unbothered by the cold. I shivered. (That means I can finally spot the supernatural through their glamour because it's almost Halloween and they appear even more than usual but humans can't spot them. It feels so weird saying those words now, sheesh.)

It's almost October. Cool, Halloween. Out of anger, I kicked the heaps of leaves from the carpet of dead leaves with my knee-length black boots but soon enough I got distracted and started kicking them. The twisty leaves make it so good for kicking and the playgrounds. Kids jumped in piles and imitated what I did as I tried to hide through the thick bushes and canopies of trees, blowing lightly in the breeze as it shadowed me.

As I got towards the pier, I spotted people picking and holding apples and pumpkins. And outside their porches and lawns organized jack-o'-lanterns kept in clusters on their lawns and on their window sails. Apple picking, wine tasting and getting lost in mazes but the downside for me is not being with my family. At least I can't completely hide who I am this Halloween, but my parents said I'm quite the odd girl.

The trees were tall, dark in parallel bunches, and as I spotted some familiar presence sitting across the street was a café. I sighed in contentment and looked at the strip paper. My friends wanted to see me and I was excited. I gripped the paper that showed the invitation, the photo and the pictures of my friends over the years. I squinted my eyes as a gentle breeze led me through the café as I passed between couples and people chatting about whatever and stuff like that. It weirdly smelt like salt, oh wait. Never mind, as I looked through the manicured bushes and beautiful umbrellas, but the most beautiful was the giant oak tree setting shade with its beautiful twisted trunk and browning and dying hues.

At one of the round, glass tables were my friends. I scanned one of them, waved happily, and invited me. I saw familiar faces and without any hesitation, I gingerly ran and slipped onto a chair, but my eyes still scanned the Briton boy who stared at me with astonishment and... sadness. Noah was wearing his iconic black tracksuit with white streaks and Man City badge pasted in it and he was tugging his pink bracelet with an orange bead as a nervous tactic and smiled, glowing his freckled face.

He really hadn't changed too much. Girl, it had been only two years, but it felt longer. His emerald-green eyes shimmered with amusement and lips morphed into a boyish smirk. Oddly, he looked so cute and bubbly, but he was what? I spotted Noah as a sporty boy but he was athletic, agile, and fast, and had stamina. He was on the swim team. He swam like a mermaid and enjoyed having fun. But he was always a soccer fan and a player on a local team in Scotland or Britain. Damn, he was good at all those but you are only good at binge watching Netflix and reading heavy books. Stop it, my subconscious or my wolf. I don't know.

I sighed heavily and smiled as I glanced at the squad. "Hi, girlfriend, it's been long since we saw you. "Sadie muttered, curled her red lips into a smile at me and shifted flashing her fishnets and I whelped.

Everyone at least has aged higher than me, right? Sadie is now eighteen, Noah is now eighteen, Anna is now sixteen, and the youngest of the squad, and finally Nova is now eighteen. Everyone is older now. Sadie wore a pink, thigh -high, satin dress that hugged her curves and glowed with her freckles and sunspots out. She did Smokey eye to make her ice-blue eyes deeper.

Sadie's light blonde hair in wolf cut. Anna had traded her BTS bright hoodies for a cotton, strapped yellow top and baggy shorts to shorts and colourful socks to knee-high brown boots. Her dark red hair braided into a long French braid on her shoulder.

When I first met Noah, he joined the swim team shortly but what shocked me was his scars. The white scars littered around the sides of his torso for his lanky and tall and had a flat stomach like any boy his age. But the thing that shocked me was his torso was white with scars on his torso and bruises and cuts, but he always covers it and owes me no explanation. I didn't push him.

In my eyes, I was suspicious because. I could read his damn mind! So of course, I thought that he was suspicious but today he answered all my questions. My phone vibrated as I hid through the shade and scooped it from my leather pants. "Nice shirt, "Noah muttered, looking at my bust. I blushed, covered my white tank, and glared. Whoa, Whoa Anna and Nova are dating now ....

Wow, I've missed so much. Turns out, last year they both came out together and they are now dating. Nova was bisexual ,Anna was Pansexual that Noah's was straight like me.

What the hell!

I sipped on some hot chocolate, and some marshmallows floated in silence, damn the awkwardness as I talked to time about the crisis. Nova's arm on Anna's shoulder as they giggled and Noah crossed his arms and melted angrily onto the white chair as he huffed. "I'm worried, Heather. This all happened after you met the werewolf boy."

He scoffed, looking at me in sadness, disappointment and some anger as they stared wide-eyed. I face palmed and sighed and looked at them. "Gurl, he's a what?" Nova gasped, angerily and clenched her jaw. She sneered and distanced herself from him. "You knew, already, but why?" They shot questions at him in anger, glaring at him.

"Yeah girls, I'm a werewolf hunter because I hate werewolves and they're dangerous, "He muttered, hunched and dismissed us with a scowl on his face." Yeah, yeah." he trailed off, jolting up.

"I already knew she likes Zale and are dating. I even confessed my crush to her anyway, but it can't possibly happen. I doubt she even trusts me." He muttered slowly, looking over and shivered as his eyes flickered to, but they were angry and Sadie stood up and ran to him and yelled.

"What about vampires, shape shifters, and demons? Why not them? Only one group can't see them. They're just like us." She yelled angrily, pointing a pink-nailed finger at the accused and bringing her boots to him as if to roundhouse kick him.

"Sadie, you've not seen anything at all. Werewolves aren't all that .They are racists, caused destruction, killed off others, and want humans gone. Do not romanize them and sexualize them At all. "He only laughed bitterly and looked at her in disgust as he looked at her.

"You're a hunter who sells them for money, you're disgusting. "Sadie screamed, looked at him in disgust, jolted, ran to him angrily like a lunatic, looked at me, and sighed. "Heather, why didn't you tell us? We could have reported him. "And he took a step back as she lunged at him and pushed him with force and kicked him. She tried to wrestle with him but he dodge and swerved and in a blink, and brought his hands to her wrists and grip it tightly as she winced and broke down and she staggered stunned and held her hand.

He sighed, looked at me and shrugged as Sadie attempted to growl and the girls attended to her wrist as she pouted. "Listen girls, I'm a bounty hunter, not a lunatic like the others,"He then pounded his fist on the table as it rattled slightly.

"Then what are you? "I scoffed, sighing.

"Well, you set a price on how dangerous the specific creatures are and the team helps to catch them and kill them. And it benefits all of us in our life." He muttered dryly, in a–matter–of-factly

Nova pinched her nose and glanced at us in horror, forming a fist and exhaling and then she laughed bitterly ,"So you're telling me, that creepy ass mansion we laughed, ran away as a horror story of some creepy white paedophile dude who's some sexist, asshole is at the forest is that.. That. Cult you call your family. Like, OH, My God. "Nova screamed frantically and shocked as she pointed at the dense forest.

"A cult, a cult that's not a cult that's my people who were affected by werewolves and humans who want revenge."Noah defended, unbothered.

Nova stood up and pointed at him, "Bitch, you hear that place you call home is a cult. Who makes people wear white linen dresses and walk in groups in brainwash and smile all crazily like that. Now I know how they make their money off prim and proper people. Who killed? Dude, you need to leave that shit and call the police." Nova ranted, as I stood there, stunned. Honestly, I do not know how to behave. I froze. Was I supposed to join them or console him but I thought quickly that's his home and his the people he grew up with. No, no. I shook my head, grabbed his arm, and fiddled my fingers as he tried to calm down.

"That's my family you're talking about and yes, we have ways of behaving that are peculiar. But I promise you we are good people fighting for a good cause. And you have ideas about what you're talking about and. No, everyone has rights and chooses how they live and whatnot and we're a diverse community of people, so shut up, We aren't some cult, you know nothing. It saved us. The leader isn't some white supremacist or pedophile at all." He screamed angrily, pointed an accused finger at Nova as he staggered and he wiped those tears and dashed away. "This was a mistake. A complete one. Do not toy my family or my life against me just because of what, but not what you hear. They are my everything. You know nothing about me." He looked away hurt as he removed his sweater revealing his white V-neck shirt, tied it and walked away unbothered by the cold and walked into the cobblestoned street.

The way they reacted hurt him, shocked and angry and talked shit about his people. I blanked out and thought about how he might be feeling. Those were his family and friends who he grew up thinking all this is right so of course he didn't know how to react.

Yeah, I've been to the mansion. It didn't look too weird. It was like a manor, tall and radiant and shaped like a stiff U. It's a dark sunset orange colonial style building with huge hallways, wings, tiny houses scattered around the vast fields and densely placed beautifully behind it. And its courtyard and manicured fields and meadows. It was peaceful, yet bustling with life and activity. Bushes, gardens, and flowerbeds of fruits and herbs planted by the cheerful teens and adults who sang and chatted happily. All content with their lives when I arrived, their mouths curve with welcoming and envy and were happy to introduce me around. People of their nationality, race and walk of lives as they planted and the old people's chatter as the children played running around the vast fields laughing and smiling. But the girls giggled and talked about their leader with their adorned heads with crowns of flowers in their hair and bouquets as they danced in circles holding hands.

They made their dresses of linen, white cloth or cotton cloth that reminded me of hippies, traditional nightwear, and simple and Victorian peasant woman's style and were flowing like a dress or gowns. And they wore modest long shapeless dresses and linen trousers or tunics. The men were loose- fitting shirts and tunics or just all white and act like gentlemen and with bright jackets for the women, but they stay away from men and have purity culture and submissive traditional roles which shocked me. They lived a sparsely yet beautiful life. They were isolated and grew and sold all their flowers but were content with it. But they might be a cult. No, my wolf lectured, they aren't one, I can feel it. You can.

Does not mean they live differently does not mean they are an issue. Look girl, you thought Zale was in a cult but he is a werewolf and real ones live in packs but.

No buts! My wolf snapped, bringing me back to reality 'you also thought that the people who lived in the woods were also a cult, but now, look.

A small and wiry girl gave me a tour around. She had a small chest that was covered with a strap around her bust and a loose fighting dress, like a gown. And a lean body, round face, big brown eyes, pink lips and a small nose. Her rosy cheeks but a quick and correcting aptitude of correction but told me everything. She looked about but was actually about sixteen. Honestly, she reminded me of a Russian doll, pretty and smart to perfection, but stayed in the rules as a shape shifter of a child's body.

***

The leader interacted with everyone, helped around, and gave advice to the girls talked about. In the middle of the bushes was a pole with vibes of roses and the kids danced around, speaking or singing in Swedish.

I staggered and choked. "What. But how, you aren't even hiding or defending it," I screamed and stammered angrily in shock. I was surprised and confused as he shrugged and ran his fingers through my curls. I slapped his hands as he laughed and I scowled, crossing my arms, and pouted as he chuckled. More leaves cascaded on the twisty path near to the woods as cars passed through and people chatted, unbothered by our weirdness.

"I'll answer you, no more secrets." he paused as he brought a long finger to his lips and bolted into the bushes and into the forest. I sighed and stared, wide-eyed. I face palmed, about to set my boot in until I heard laughter from the bushes and before I knew it a hand yanked me into as I panted. I sighed and ran into the cool air, the birds chirping as I paused, looking at the woods and the gurgling and rushing of the stream as I ran.

. I approached a circle of trees as crows croaked loudly as it flew around happily. My eyes darted till I saw a familiar figure leaning by a truck as he laughed. I arched an eyebrow as I looked at him and I was about to run towards him when he ran and vanished, only leaving leaves behind. I scratched my neck and darted my eyes in a frenzy. I sighed and ran only to see him reappear running in a frenzy as we alternated as we played around the was fast and hid bent the branches and shadows. I panted as I thought about the disappearing trick. He might be a witch or a werewolf, but I don't know. As I felt the wind in my curls, the land flashed by and the sound of running like nothing as I smiled with happiness of using my senses in a frenzy .

I panting and whipped my head as I glanced up after hearing the soft breeze crunching and ruffling. Immediately, my head peaked up as I smiled and looked at him in astonishment." How did you get up there?" I asked confused ,as I looked measuring as he climbed the tall deciduous trees laughing crazily and he smiled holding a leaf," Babe, there' are a lot of things you do not know about me." he chuckled and held the branches running his hands on its bark and smiling wide." I'm a trained hunter, the wind broke off as the dry brittle leaves and tiny white flowers blew as I head the wind groan and again he vanished. I screamed and stomped my foot in anger. Damn, he good at this and I sprinted . The steam was bubbling and gurgling as it rushed. I jumped lazily over a rock and balanced lightly on it .

I circled and sprinted around as I approached a ring of threes as I felt someone whisper as he disappeared through the trees as birds chirped; I ran through the long grass and felt hands on my waist bring me close to a familiar touch as I blushed. Then he vanished as we meet in the middle of the pastures. I was as he gestured me, telling me about his home as I grabbed his hand. He looked at the streams and trees and quickly and quietly, as we meandered through the woods as we chatted about his life as a hunter.

We alternated as we approached trees, and more trees as I giggled. I avert my head as we soared higher through the hill looking down as cars zoom pass in a frenzy and he grabbed my hand as he hoisted me and I followed him on top of the hill as I leaned on a tree as my feet scratched the gravel and tumbling rocks. I sighed as I wiped my sweat as I was caught of breath as I looked down in and saw a green pastures , fields and a flower bed of moonflowers, sunflowers, lilies and some wolfs bane planted around and an aerial view of the roofless pinkish-red mansion as I stared wide-eyes as a smile crept on his face .

"Welcome again, Heather now we will serve all your answers," he sighed and patted my back." And be careful of the moonflowers, wolfs bane and some witch hazel planted aroun –"

I cut him off and sighed wearily." NO! To prevent supernatural beings from entering here without an issue. Yeah, I get it." I muttered forming a fist as sweat and splotches blinded me as my top stuck to my back in sweat, as I felt dizzy. Noah's face flashed with concern in a tight smile as we slide down the hill like careless teens and ran down a twisty dirt path to a fence encrusted with a sizzling ad crackling sound and with a stretch of green grass and the north of a giant tantalizing scent of roses and sunflowers. I breathed out, stretching my arms and looking at the sun fanning me as I felt someone grip my arm, brought me to him, and flashed a flower. I gasped and fiddled it to my fingertips. It was a lily. I grasped it and fiddled with it.

He sighed and gave it to me as he looked down at his vans and shuffled his foot through the ankle-length grass. I took it, smelt it, and smiled nervously.

"I know you like water lilies so a lily flower is the closest since you wanted to be a marine biologist." He smiled ear to ear as he scratched his neck nervously. And he face palmedand flashed a smirk." And happy late birthday, which was so many months ago, happy late birthday, "he whispered and before I knew it I crushed him into a bone-crushing hug as he squirmed as he melted and hugged me back.

But tears spilled off as I grabbed his neck and cried. Why? I have no ideas. I recoiled forcedly and apologized I turned away and did met his gaze as I felt him bring me close as we walked around the large kilometre of land worth about a hundred acres of land or maybe even more than I saw it .

.Noah gave me life lessons that might benefit me if I'm lucky, but he trained by surviving in the woods all by himself or with his fellow peers. If you're lost in the woods and by a stream walk upstream, look at the starts and constellations or any familiar landmark such as trails, trees and mountains and you night as well catch signs of words or roads. Or the direction the plants are pointing and the leaves fighting for light to do photosynthesis.

If you don't have a map or a compass. You can check of the sparsely of the trees. The sun rises in the east and looks for the north star. Check for mosses in the trees it shows that the sun is in the area and create your own compass if you have the tools.

I thought long, hard, and muttered. "Let's play twenty questions? "Iasked, jogging beside him as he stared at me wide-eyed then jerked his head and looked the sky as the setting sun sun-kissed shadow at his face and I couldn't help but stare." Um ok?" he muttered tapping his temple." What's your zodiac sign, I'm Capricorn you." I looked at him and whispered, listening to the cool breeze and the birds circling above us." I'm a Taurus," he said and shrugged." Cool, my turn what's your favourite colour?" I asked looking at him." I like orange and green." And he pointed to his dark red curls and shook it like a wet dog." Oh I love all shades of blue but I prefer periwinkle and crystal blue better."

It was fun as we learnt about each other slowly. He loves soccer too, but I already knew his favourite team. I was jumping and bouncing on my soles like a child. I walked to the wall built of bricks and stones as he observed it. Then he climbed like a spider monkey alternating the tall boundary, then he stood on its thin wall and I mimic him cling on the rocks and brought my hand and he hoisted me and I plopped down scaring my knee as he jumped gracefully on the ground.

Suddenly, my nostrils filled with strong and putrid scents of sunflowers and daffodils as I looked around, then we ran on the field and walked swiftly through the cobblestoned path. I walked neared as people paused their work to paused and gawk at me and his face and whispered and stared at me but he glared and showed an emotionless stare that made them return to work or activities as I couldn't help but wonder .

"Those people listened to you without questioning." I muttered, narrowing my eyes at him as he arched an eyebrow as I held him by the collar as he winced." You're very observant, senorita. I'll give you that my rank here is like a warrior or something like ranks." he smiles eerily but his eyes scream others, but this time some blockage couldn't allow me to peer into his thoughts but he clicked his tongue. I still narrowed my eyes as some people laughed and giggled to ogle at us. I'm literally, nope, Noah and I look bizarre compared to the people.

Judging by how many plants and herbs they might have to sell for money and honey around. Walking along the path, I spotted its humongous facade of the building where people seem to disperse. Hmm,only specific people live inside the mansion. Now, I'm suspicious as hell. We walk along the marble steps till we approach a large wooden doors and walk passed arch hallways to some flights of stairs to a room more like an office .and with a floor to ceiling window as we passed I saw women dressed in long billowing gowns and short dresses some bare and some with flats and .I peeked over the windows; I spotted some huge white tents with sharp smells of dried herbs and flowers and some creams. Witches, I thought, but why aren't they against supernatural beings, aren't they thought or there's more to the story that Noah isn't telling me at all?

The room was big and had cocktail red paint and some wooden bookshelves at the corners and close to the window was a mahogany desk with neatly arranged objects. I couldn't help but glanced looking for the owner as the door closed and Noah frown and removed a yellow pill and swallowed it; the door bust open and I stared wide-eyed. She was familiar, too familiar. But wasn't she the girl that warned me about him and this place but she had changed? She had a bob of sunset orange hair, green eyes and a petite structure and she wore knitted long-shelves top and white shorts with flats and had an iPod on. She whispered at him with fists and frowned at me with rage and disgust in her eyes and followed by her was his mother. She looked older and taller than the last time but her dimples and wrinkles were clear on her sad face as a warm of happiness made her smile.

"It takes about five years to train over here, "Noah muttered as they nodded curtly." I nodded as he leaned overlooking at the girl who couldn't be older than eighteen or nineteen. Ooh, so they use technology but an iPod. She stood next to him, placed her hands on her hips, and looked at him in anger. I remembered seeing her at a tiny dance studio for training kids and teenagers for some cash down the steer. She's a member of this place. But standing next to her was Noah's mom, who was a busty woman who wore a white shirt and some jeans with some vans to but her expression saddened and placed an arm on his shoulder and he shrugged. Suddenly, he walked over and he grew taller and grow bulkier to at least three heads above me and his shirt I can see those scars turn into black strips across his torso as I staggered and stared at him. And his pupils seemed to turn into dots as his iris seemed to widen and claws grew from his fingers.

"What are you?" I screamed angrily as he shrugged and walked over. He crossed his muscular arms and looked at me and laughed." I'm a tiger shifter, and this is my pack." he muttered shrugging. I tapped my temple and stared at them as if I was crazy." Wait! Is that why you were annoyed when the girls insulted that house and why you reacted that way. No, no, no. You have more lies, don't you Noah, if that's your real name. How long did it actually take you to build this place and your business?" I screamed angrily, shooting at him with questions.

"Yes, my name is Noah and yes, I hated the way they talked about me and the way they insulted my people. And this is not a cult, is a clan of different supernaturals all here with a common goal of protection and shelter and they're fine with it, Aren't they. The woman next to me is Arisha, she's my beta, my mom is the Luna and mother to everyone, and I care about her wellbeing too. It takes five years to train, and I learnt at seventeen so I'm, actually... "

"Twenty-one, so you're not an exchange student you've lived here for a long time." I muttered softly, not meeting his odd gaze that looked feline. "No, I'm actually twenty –four I'm pagan. We praise the moon goddess and the Mayan gods but we're not discriminative, aren't we? Men and woman train alike here, too." he said as I still watched around.

"Wait, so the first time I met you .You were twenty-two.!" I yelled. He nodded and grinned .And the way I wanted to slap him and drool shamelessly .Wait! What is happening to my feelings? I'm taken.

"And I have some things to tell you-you are my mate." he whispered softly .

'What! no, no, Zale is my mate. No, there is no such things as second chance mate, but two I'm not into poly at all. No, you're lying. I screamed loudly.

Suddenly, he grasped his stomach in pain and hunched as his pupils turned into dots and his teeth lengthen and he stared at me with anger clouded his eyes as he choked.

"How long have you not shifted, at all?" That girl-Arisha shouted loudly.

"Not too often, why?" he coughed and looked around as swayed like a drunkard as she pushed him away and groaned.

"Oh, no." Grams muttered sadly, face palming. I whipped my head as they growled and roared suddenly he broke out thrashing his arms and roaring and shaking out of control." Huh, you're the man I met with that... that. No way, the white Mercedes who gave me aren't a tour and you're the man I saw with those glowing green eyes sand that roar. That was you. Like oh, my goodness-mean goddess."

I staggered and held my temple and shook in disbelief." You're a liar, fuck you." Then I ran a giant roar stopped me as I stared at him as he slow clapped.

"Your mine," he screamed angrily, growling.

"Seriously." I yelled.

He bolted to me and twisted me to his back, then growled into my neck and gripped me tightly and tied my arms together.

"Do you know how long I've pretended to be a teenager just to gain your attention," He roared at my ear as I shook like worm looking for his weak spot.

"Liar, Bitch." I screamed angrily, clenched my jaw, then he threw me over the wooden floor as I clawed away and I thought.

Bitch, you have powers and I flared my arms, formed a ball as he froze, twisted, and levitated him I grinned creepily, then I felt like a light bulb and started shaking and turning as it blinded my eyes with black splotches as he charged towards me.

I roundhouse kicked him, but he was fast and trample me, placing my arms on my sides and kissed me.

I oddly melted on the kiss as I kicked him continually in his groin .

Fuck him.

I punched him and screamed but suddenly, something pinched my shoulder than I yelp jolted up then collapsed and I couldn't move on the wooden floor and thrashed around crazily as I felt dizzy as he stared at me with a smile as they stood there frozen as I hit my head as my eyes felt heavy and fluttering. Everything felt muffled and distant and everything blurs and dims.

what just happened ?

Why didn't they help me?

They were frozen, you dumbass.

I saw more splotches and died.

My nerves just died.

My eyes fluttered open as I glance around my surrounding. Silvers of a sunlight filtered and danced through the open windows as a light breeze blew the velvet green curtains move around from the light breeze the white ceiling and I breathed shaking my hand as the sheets twisted and moved around my bare legs.

Excuse me, 'bare legs. My heart hammered in my chest as I panicked. I whipped my head and got up as the sheets twisted, hiding my legs as my eyes darted crazily. I thrashed my legs and got up covered in sweat as I looked at the pinkish-red room and felt my body and looked at the tiny room and the queen-sized bed and screamed loudly, holding the sheets.

I leaped out of the bed and fell on the cold wooden floor. I paced around nervously and stared at the window, only to notice I'm about three stories to fall down onto a field of flowers. Panicked engulfed me as I and walked towards the bathroom and stared at the mirror. My eyes gawked at what I'm wearing, my black undergarments, and I staggered in hurt, pain, and fear. I started panting. Why am I in my underwear? He's a pervert! Then I lost it and touched my abdomen nervously and breathed. Then I hate him, he must have a taking advantage of me I breathed then I looked at my lower abdomen and staggered away.

I gawked at the mirror and stated at my torso and at my lower abdomen was a giant river lily drawn in like a henna tattoo or an actual tattoo as I ran my hands through it and screamed hoarsely. Clenching my fist as I pounded them on the mirror and stared at its intricate designs and black ink. It was beautiful but creepy why how and why would he do this.

I turned around as my curls jiggled and looked at the white door; I brought my hands to the bronze knob, but I recoiled with a wince as my curls shook and my hands spilt, bleeding. What no. Oh no, he didn't. Then I pounded my fist on the door and screamed as boils erupted from my arms as they steamed.

the sharp smell of iron and wolfsbane burned my nostrils and throat as I coughed and saw my finger peels as I stared and cowered .

No way. He smeared iron, wolfsbane and witch hazel so I couldn't leave until I'm pained and angered by my best friend no, my ex -best friend. More like an ass and liar.

I growled angrily, but I couldn't feel my wolf's presence and the door too were heavily glazed with witch hazel. I thought long and hard as I paced. I walked over to the door and realised I was suffering to smell or hear anything and my stomach ache as I bowed to hold it as I felt a sucking and sizzling sound from my abdomen suddenly, swirls itched through my temples and my forehead and my stomachache and I winced to get contact with my wolf but it felt like she wasn't there.

No.

I touched it as and felt my eyes glow light blue and my stomach shimmered too. I outstretched my arms to the door frame and felt my power seize to flow like electricity and smoke from my body to the door to somehow open it suddenly I screamed loudly I felt as if my intestines were clawing out as I felt my powers dimmed as my hands burned with spiderlike veins appearing as my legs buckled rolling my abdomen in pain feeling my stomach grow and churn as I cried. Rolled off and pushed the door as tears threatened to fall. I did it many trails of crying and repeating, and it finally opened.

The door bust open and smoke burned off its hinges as I panted. Footsteps echoed through the tapestries lined walls as ducked and breathed and passed corridors and hallways of this confusing maze I scooted two ladies muttering and laughing. I looked at myself and realised I must get clothes. But how?

I slide through the walls and jumped on my soles as I heard them; they froze, looked at each other, then hastened to their jokes and luckily my eyes darted and saw them holding towels and clothes on a trolley strolling over to the rooms. Do other people live here other than him? I whimpered and snitched the clothes. They perked their heads and chased me in a speed and dodged and ran away and sprinted down the cold wide stairs and bolted sideways and I gawked at the wooden stairs adorned in a Turkish carpet .

I slowly opened a door into a queen-sized bed with dotted pink sheets and a sunny orange painted room. And stuffed animals on a pillow as I gawked.

Shit, shit.

A child's room, I quickly leaped over the toys and looked at the outfit as I sneered in disgust, I shook my head and wore the loose-fitting white pants that didn't hug my curves and a long-sleeve white lien shirt and a loose oversize skirt made of cotton. But they'll recognise me since I've come here before, as I looked in the mirror and rubbed my abdomen angrily. Next to the knitted white curtains was a wooden trunk, and I found a head covering and tied it around my face and hair only to show my wandering eyes, i peeked overlooking over and ran out .

I ran out of the arch hallways and whipped my head and looked at the Victorian mansion only to spot men in white tunics and loose-fitting shirts that scream peasants from the middle ages chanting and laughing and some with guns. One waved at me and some circled me, looking at my hands, and smiled. I recoiled and left, only to be hit with three aromatic smells and people walking around. I breathed and panted, only to hear an alarm I bolted outside ran to the field as people screamed and ran frantically. I ran over the stone wall on to fall down and screamed. I saw wolves and man howling as they crowded the door and circled me .

"Is her, the Lunar?"

I shrieked and did a force field as I twitched and screamed; the wolves spill through the entrance and despise red in and Zale smiled angrily, seething through his teeth. Abruptly, a tiger walked in and slowly morphed into a man, a very familiar man, and I wanted to lunge and yell at him. I'm no one's and he lied .He apologised and blamed his soul don't blame your pitiful mistakes on your animal. He brooded in shame as we left.

I hugged tightly as tears fall lightly on his chest Zale as I hid dying inside.

"What?"

I was sitting on the ledge overlooking the wide window as light fanned on my face as I stared emotionless no, sad, shocked and traumatised, holding my mug of steaming coffee and wearing my grey sweater as I sighed. I touched my abdomen in sadness, realising how my day flashed by cold and with one last disappointed sigh I closed the widow and thoughts flooded my mind. I eyed the room; it was decent sized and beige coloured and got off and ran down the wooden stairs and looked at my friends huddled help by the lodge looking at me.
