We crowded around a round wooden table to discuss and argue important matters at hand. The ceremony has been postponed, finding sapphire, the leader of the war, is now more important. Zale sees me as his equal, so him, his beta, James and Ares are merging our heads together to create solutions but so far it's been proved futile.

"We need help."Ares mumbled, under a breath, as we nodded," But seriously, my gods. Who broke that bitch out?"Ares screamed, crossed her arms over her chest and sighed.

"We have another mole within the pack."I stated as they nodded. "I don't know. I made sure my trackers were in their places and guarded the dungeons and secured it with wolfsbane and," Zale yelled in frustration.

"Didn't she say Alpha Liboardo will free her?" James added, cocking his head as we snapped our gazes. Zale sighed, ran his fingers through his hair and sighed "She's been there for mouths but it looks like we finally let our guard down."

Zale gripped the table hard, breathing heavily with his eyes glowing bright with a clenched jaw. My shoulders sagged as I stared at me with concern. Zale's been frustrated and moody all of a sudden but Ares assured me it is stress. "She vanished without a trace, whoosh .Her scents gone."James exclaimed as we shared looks. Black magic.

"We must inform the other Alphas about the revolution immediately, now we should keep a close eye on Liboardo pack, we must plan then attack." He slammed his fist on the table hard. He snapped his gaze to me, his face unreadable. "More deaths have been reported and littered around our pack and so many others. It's a way and some of them look like the way Damon and Katie died. We gasped and stared at each other.

We nodded our heads in agreement and filed out.

"I'll train the pups harder in the morning."Ares said smiling ,while putting her arms behind her back's proud smile on her face. James waved his arms and smiled."I'll inform the trackers and everyone too."

As I filled out, Ares zoomed to me and held my arm as I whirled. I smiled that she had recovered and returned to her old self." It's not your fault, stop blaming yourself." she informed me," But I like your determination."I opened my mouth to argue but closed it as she tapped my shoulders.

Darkness descended on the land, stars twinkled and slowly appeared and the sky ink blue. The pack huddled around a pit and prayed to the moon goddess while staring at the full moon. They started growing claws and eyes changing howling and charging at each other and then their ears stretched and hair grew from their backs and covering their bodies and growing snouts and bigger in size pretty fur colours where glimmering in the full moon in the dark starry night. Sometimes I wish I was a werewolf and shift with my mate I sound so stupid. But I'm sure I will be scared to become a creature but I'm a witch .I'm not normal.

Zale and Ares were in front as the others were behind. They were all jumpy and growling happily at each other and the moon with joy. I smiled and laughed. Zale howled at me and gave a wolfy grin as most of the wolves that remained were old or were trackers but in their wolf form. So I was the only one human and  it was cold so I wore a puffy winter coat. I went back into the pack house to strap on my Doc Martens. I loaded my rifle and strapped it behind me and sighed. Hopefully, my leggings insulate me further. I was going to take advantage of their absence to train and practice.

The cold air whistled in my ears and hit my coat like daggers but I still felt cold even though we were in the month of April. I looked around only to notice the only one who hadn't shifted where the kids but the older wolves were running around the pack playing with the wolves. A small smile tugged my lips as I skipped around as wolves passed me, paused and yelped.

I told Zale about my training so he wouldn't be worried or pressed. Sara taught me how to channel my energy and Zale personally taught me combat. I decided to use my free time to practice my magic and my weaponry. I found out I love shooting things for fun.

Practice makes perfect.

I trekked about twenty miles away from the pack and appeared near the roadside but luckily it was deserted. Hidden in a cluster of intertwined trees. I sighed heavily as I outstretched my arms feeling trying to churn my energy. My eyes flashed and a swift whoosh shook the leaves as air crawled through the ground. Then I clasped my fingers together.

I thrust my palms to a lone tree stump like a sonic boom, air whooshed as I staggered. Then it exploded. I trust my hands to the ground as the ground trembled. A smile of satisfaction formed on my face. Now, I'm pretty sure I'm just fooling. I imagined myself embraced with gentle flames as I levitated around the treetops and leaped. No, don't worry, I applied glamour so I just look like a dying bird or a crazy pigeon .I formed orbs of fight in my palms as I hovered for a mere second before plopping on the ground like an acorn. Lesson one: Learn how to split your concentration. I groaned, stood up and dusted my legs then grabbed my rifle and my clear crystal bayonet. Damn, those trees were tall and looming, thick shadows danced as I muttered a small incantation. Then instantly, I got night vision as the path stretched before as I spotted every detail and happily cured my paranoia. 

I froze, my blood ran cold then flashes blinded my vision like pulsing like heart ,everything blurs. Like electricity running through my veins as my head pounds as my knees buckled to the floor. I pressed my hands into my forehead and rubbed my temples to ease the pain. Then it stopped. I blinked.

Another painful flash. Glowing pink eyes, harsh and intimidating flashed through my vision. I tensed the shadow from earlier and ...Noah. No, snap out of it. I told myself as I staggered. I unsheathe my crystal bayonets, breathing heavily as I leaped further into the woods, twisting, turning and diving deeper as fast as my legs took me. I muttered more abrupt inactions as everything blurs as I zip the wind in my ears. The twigs snap and the leaves crunched on my soles.

"I know you're here."I screamed, it echoed and bounced off the trees as I braced myself in my protective stance. Suddenly, cold air spewed from around then busted a ring of roaring blue flames around me licking the barks and trunks of trees but I knew as it cackled the spirit was suffocating. Then I formed multiple fireballs in different directions. Icy laughter echoed through the forests and blew wildly.

"Try harder."I mocked from the trees. As the moon rose higher all the blood in my veins bubbled then I felt as if I was supercharged. I felt like A swirling vortex of energy consuming me. Just then, my powers weakened even though the moon was high in the sky, then in a spiral of golden light as it burned my nostrils ,it was sharp, metallic and putrid. It was scorching and bright then I collapsed onto the hard ground, my body frozen and unable to move. The flames blended with the squeezed my lungs, choking me.

I was heating up, drenched in cold sweat as my teeth chattered. My vision turned from light blue to golden light as the swirls entered my mouth forcibly as I stared horrified. My nails grew longer, blacker and sharp. As it penetrated through my toes. All my bones popped, broke and moved under my skin like snakes. It was excruciating, freaky and nauseating but I was screaming crazily. The spirit was laughing maniacally and I knew she had a sadistic smile on her face as she encouraged my screams. I crawled from the ground as chocolate coloured fur sprouted from my back. My jaws ached and clenched as sharp teeth pierced out of my gums as blood filled my mouth. My ribs sprouted from inside as I shrieked harder.

I rolled on the ground as my ears pointed as my clothes shredded, with one feeble look at stars I ended with a blood curdling howl. The pain stopped but it still throbbed from my legs. Rustling and shuffling echoed through the darkness. I felt heavier then I landed on all fours and staggered, yelped and slammed into a bark. I screamed but whimpered instead from my throat but my hind legs were numb. I admired my fur and stared at my paws.

Then the wind whistled in my ears, suddenly I was overwhelmed with a million different smells smacked into my snout and my eyesight heightened. It shifted from pleasant ,strong or putrid that made me sneeze. I could almost see what's beyond the darkness but I knew they were either nocturnal or diurnal. I was scared I jumped I was a wolf how it's a full moon a rare powerful one but I was never a wolf .I was scared I was falling. I was scared of myself. I ran. I couldn't really understand what just happened. This cannot be happening .Oh hell nah, I'm powerful for what? I'm doomed.

I fell onto the prickling grass and kicked my legs in the air like a beetle in the brick of death. Ruffling and thundering paws echoed through the ground as my ears perked like crazy. Then I growled and bared my teeth and felt my conscious slip away as I watched the scene unfold. A long shadow casted on me and I yelped. I was face to face with a snarling black wolf with piercing yellow eyes so I growled and snapped my jaw then in a flash a huge tawny wolf with blood red eyes growled at me. I smiled as they recoiled and exchanged looks then forcedly sniffed me as I kicked them. They circled around me and assessed me. They must have thought I'm a rogue or I killed Hamia instead but it's me but I couldn't speak wolf then they exchanged looks again confusion on their features.

My wolf didn't like them disrespecting me. I felt myself move at the back of my mind.
They were coming closer I was going backwards but then she took over again .I rather came closer he bit and dragged my hind leg .I bit his back they were attacking me I didn't know what to do I knew them so they might know who am I . I bolted and bit Ares at her neck and pinned her down she submitted it was hard we were both bleeding at our snouts and paws.

Ares wasn't in control tonight. Eli was seething, he jumped on me and we almost had a dog fight .He almost submitted to me.

I stopped and heard a voice.

Then in a flurry of sickening cracks and pops in front of me were stark-naked Ares and Eli as I diverted my snout to avoid their gaze. Eli cocked his head and scratched his neck and stared at me intently as Ares dropped to a crouch and sniffed me hard. She ruffled my head and shared a look at Eli who looked stunned and confused.

"But how? I know that Hamia is a wolf's mate but I know once she's mated to him she'll develop wolf traits but...but now I'm very confused."Eli said. Ares smiled at me and nodded and really tried so hard not to glance at Eli's bare torso and chest.

She shrugged, her hair in a mane covering her chest, "Well, for one she's a witch and we don't understand that she might have developed it here or she's always had it but was triggered. But you know I can go on and on about logical explanations."Ares stated as we gawked at her.

She rose up, turned her back on me as she gestured me into the woods."Well, c'mon.let's go back to the pack house and investigate further but don't worry we'll guide you and make sure no one harms you ,ok."Ares reassured us and in a blink, they were in all fours as we sprinted out of the woods and entered into the familiar and cold clearing. Some wolves stared at me as I passed then spotted a familiar grey-white wolf with glowing sapphire eyes who glared at me with hostility. Eli and Ares huddled around me as they barked at Zale who cocks his head.

Zale sniffed me, licked me then nuzzled into my neck then tackled me as we rolled on each other. Ares rolls her eyes and drags Zale away with a whimper and points to the loft. But Zale disagrees and we decided to explore the woods and hunt and just to be free. After midnight, we are exhausted or it was just me then. In a blink, Zale shifted and slowly got to his feet then I borrowed my snout in my face as he laughed.

"Shift."He commanded. Ares slapped him from the head as he winced."Dude, can't you see she doesn't know. "She corrected as he gasped and apologised."Just imagine yourself as a human."She smiled as I nodded and tried so hard to imagine myself. I opened my eyes and stared at myself only to be disappointed as they exchanged looks and Eli shrugged."Are you doing it right?"Zale asked with an eyebrow then Ares grumbled and slapped him again hard."Don't listen to him; it is your fast time."She said.

I did it over twelve times.

"Something's wrong." Zale shouted in sheer frustration.

"No, shit Sherlock." Ares pinched him.

"You did say you suddenly changed." He clarified .Zale growled angrily. Did he know something? But I wished so dearly that I told him the demon or shadows appeared the whole time. I was so happy they all slipped into clothes but then Zale scooped me up with no sweat and bolted out into the night and wolves stared at me with horror, concern or indifference.
