"You seem to be in a good mood." Jimin commented upon seeing Taehyung's wide smile early in the morning.

Taehyung bit his lower lip as he tried to hide the silly grin plastered on his face.

"Jungkook promised he is coming to school today." He whispered in a controlled voice.

"Really? That explains it." Jimin shakes his head as he stared at the blonde.

"You can't wipe that smile off your face." He added, making Taehyung blush.

"I'm trying not to be too obvious here, Chim." Taehyung defended which only made Jimin snort.

"Well, try harder." Jimin pinched his cheek before running ahead.

"Yah!" Taehyung ran after him up to the entrance of the building.

He was laughing his heart out and was determined to get Jimin when he saw Jungkook entering the building with Yoongi, Jackson and Yugyeom.

Taehyung halted as the whole place seemed to brighten up at the sight of the ravenette, looking so good in all black.

The way the girls turned to look at the incoming group of handsome male with an awestruck face almost made Taehyung laugh because he knows he might have looked like them as well.

He was hypnotised, a natural Jungkook effect that he had been accustomed with.

"Baby!"

Taehyung was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Jimin's voice. He saw the latter running toward Yoongi who quickly held his boyfriend by the waist.

"You didn't pick me up today." Jimin cutely pouted, making Taehyung roll his eyes in the latter's obvious attempt to show public display of affection, clearly wanting to shove to everyone's face that Yoongi is his.

Taehyung silently wished he could also do the same to Jungkook and claim him as his.

"Got a bit caught up with a lot of things, babe. Sorry." Yoongi answered, indulging Jimin's pettiness.

Jimin giggled as he clings to his boyfriend's arm. He looked around, spotting Taehyung on the side.

"Tae, baby! Jungkook is here!" Jimin waved his hand, urging him to go near.

Taehyung's eyes widened in horror from the way Jimin just let everyone know he'd been waiting for the ravenette's return.

Oh God! Chim!

He saw Jungkook now staring at him, making him immobile. Their eyes met for a long while, almost making Taehyung feel awkward.

He saw the students curiosly stare at them, and Taehyung doesn't want to look like a shy 13-year old who just met his crush for the first time.

He smiled at the ravenette, acting friendly as he made his way to them.

"Hey. You're finally back. I thought you'll never show your face around here." Taehyung tapped Jungkook by the arm as he smiled at him.

He doesn't want other students to think that he has a thing for Jungkook.

Taehyung looked at the ravenette's face, only to see his brow arched a little with a small smirk on his face.

He flinched when Jungkook leaned down, levelling his face to Taehyung whose eyes became as wide as saucers.

Taehyung was sure as hell he heard loud gasps around him when Jungkook patted his head, ruffling his hair tenderly.

He smiled, the kind of smile that melted everyone's heart.

"I wouldn't want you to miss me so bad, would I?" Jungkook sexily grinned at him before tucking his loose hair behind his ear.

Taehyung was stoned to his place, not understanding what Jungkook is trying to pull off with everyone's eyes directed to them.

He tried to laugh it off, pushing Jungkook a little. "Ha-ha.. Don't joke like that." he averted his gaze, landing on the girls who are now gossiping and murmuring to one another.

To his surprise, Jungkook put his arm on his shoulder, pulling him closer.

"Don't worry, I missed you too." He whispered, making Taehyung blush.

He was dragged by the ravenette as they started walking down the hall with the rest of his friends, snickering and shaking their heads.

Taehyung had silently wished he could claim Jungkook as his.

Turns out, Jungkook was the one who claimed him in front of everyone, sending a clear message that Taehyung is his without him even knowing.

"What was that earlier?" Taehyung murmured, not wanting to make a loud noise as both of them were inside the library.

Jungkook looked at him as if he didn't have any clue what he's saying.

"What's with the-" Taehyung comically demonstrated everything that Jungkook did earlier, making the ravenette laugh.

The sound of his heartily laugh resonated inside the library, making Taehyung quickly lean forward as he tried covering Jungkook's mouth, seeing the other students turn their heads in their direction with a glare.

"Keep quiet.." He glared at the ravenette who just rolled his eyes before removing his hand from his mouth.

"Your fault. Why are you being so cute?" Jungkook asked, resting his head on the table as he gazed at the blonde in front of him.

Taehyung opened his mouth to protest but the sudden compliment rendered him speechless.

He furrowed his brows, looking aghast. "What's with you?"

He's having a hard time understanding what goes on inside Jungkook's head.

First, he kissed him but said it meant nothing.

Then he showed up with a girl in campus a couple of days later and treated Taehyung as if his existence didn't matter to him.

After that he saved him from danger, showered him with concern and affection.

Next thing he knew, he's shouting at him for showing up in his house, but then kissing him afterwards.

Now he's being all too affectionate and clingy, even telling him he's cute.

Taehyung stared at him with an incredulous look on his face.

"I'm not trying to offend you or anything but please be honest." Taehyung leaned forward as Jungkook listened to him carefully.

"Do you have some kind of a disorder or something?" He seriously asked.

There was a long silence as Taehyung patiently waited for Jungkook's answer with the most serious face Jungkook had seen from him.

The ravenette wasn't able to stop himself from bursting into laughter at the question.

Taehyung blinked his eyes, not expecting his reaction.

The ravenette was teary eyed, stomach aching from too much laughing as he rested his back on the chair.

"Oh God, Tae! You're fascinating as hell." Jungkook huffed, trying to suppress his laughter.

This had Taehyung gulping, seeing the soft and fond look on the ravenette's face as he stared at him.

"No wonder I couldn't get you out of my mind." He uttered in a low serious voice that had Taehyung shivering.

Fuck..

His heart began thumping loudly in his chest to the point that he became afraid that the ravenette would hear it.

The loud banging on the desk saved Taehyung from his chaotic emotions as the librarian stood next to them.

"If you two can't keep quiet, you better get out of here." She glared at them before turning away with a warning look.

Taehyung gulped, hurriedly picking up the books on the table. He didn't dare glance at Jungkook, afraid to let him see how flustered he was.

"It's better if we go now. I still have a class to attend to. You do too, right?" Taehyung stood, careful not to drag his chair.

"How did you know I have class too at this time?" Jungkook asked, catching him off guard.

Taehyung shrugged. "Wild guess." He uttered, not wanting to show that he's lying.

He kind of looked and memorized Yoongi's schedule, knowing that he has the same schedule as Jungkook.

Taehyung walked away, but noticed that Jungkook didn't follow.

"You're not coming?" He asked, forcing himself to look unbothered.

Jungkook rested his head on the table once more. "You go ahead. I'll stay here for a while."

Taehyung furrowed his brows. "You're skipping your class?" He asked.

Jungkook shrugged. "I dropped all my previous subjects and took new ones."

The blonde walked back to their table, standing in front of the ravenette.

"What?" He questioned.

"I have missed a lot of things anyway so I just dropped them all." Jungkook stated.

"Is that even possible?" He asked in a confused tone.

"Yeah. Now go to your class. I'll have mine after another hour so... go." Jungkook playfully pushed him away.

"Are you sure you're not lying? I'm going to ask Yoongi." He warned which only made Jungkook smirk.

"Go ahead and be my guest." He answered before burying his face on the table.

"I'm going to take a nap, so go away. You'll be late if you keep on standing there." He murmured.

Taehyung looked at the ravenette one more time before finally deciding to walk away.

However, he was halted when he heard Jungkook's voice once more.

"I'll wait for you in the parking lot after class."

The blonde snapped his head back, eyes wide and cheeks flushed. He stared at the ravenette's back as his heart began somersaulting at the implication of his words.

"O-okay."
