The couple in this story is normal, yet not normal. Likewise, neither is their story normal, nor is it abnormal.
It's upon you how you perceive both of them because nothing or no one in this story is how he, she or it appears to be.

Finally, I hereby declare that in no way, I support pedophilia. That's a crime, thorough and thorough. I obviously can't be called a writer/author yet. I have done nothing to earn that feat yet,  so, I definitely don't possess the right to be addressed by that title.

Moving on, when you read the diary entries in this story, be a little patient. Don't jump to conclusions directly. You will get the whole picture clear by the time you finish this book.

The young boy in the diary entries, DOES NOT harbor any crush on the little girl and his thoughts about her are innocent and funny.  Don't make up your mind just by reading the first diary entry. There are more diary entries after the first one, and with each of those entries, your perception will change. This book is a psychological suspense thriller for a reason. Read it till the last word of the last chapter to understand what you have actually read.

Lastly, this is a slow-burn.
I can assure you that patience and a keen eye are the only two keys to decode this book.
