Inside of the Fairy Tail Guild, you were staring at the lower request board. You were taking a small break from the S-class requests. You weren't exactly in need of money.

"Yo, Y/n!" Natsu called to you. You turned back and waved at him.

"What's up?" You replied as he stood next to you.

"You aren't doing your normal S-class mission, huh?" He looked at the board with Happy by his side.

"Nah," you said, "It takes a long time. Not to mention I'm not exactly in need of money right now."

"Hey." Happy tapped your leg. "Could you do a mission and give us the reward?"

"Get the fuck away from me and do the work yourself, dumbass cat."

"Aye, sir..."

"You're getting on my nerves, Romeo." You heard Makarov say. You turned your gaze and saw the little boy, Romeo, standing in front of the Fairy Tail master. "If you're a wizard's son, have faith in your father and wait at home quietly!"
You let out a quiet sigh and shifted your weight.

"He said he'd be back in three days, but he's been gone a week now!" Romeo argued. Your brow twitched.

'It's been that long?' You thought.

"If I recall, it was a job on Mt. Hakobe..." Makarov spoke quietly, but you still heard it.

"That isn't that far away! Go look for him!" Romeo exclaimed.

"Your old man's a wizard!" Makarov exclaimed back, "There's no wizard in this guild who can't take care of himself! Go home and have some milk or something!"

"Master." You walked away from the board and over to the bar, arms crossing. Romeo looked at you and quickly backed up. Makarov also stared at you.

"Now, now... calm down," you said, stepping next to the child. "The kid's just worried. Nothing to get riled up over." You placed your hand on Romeo's shoulder and smiled down at him. With a quick gasp from him, you stepped away and began to walk out of the guild. Footsteps behind you signaled Natsu was following you. You turned your head to see his bags in hand. A small smile graced your lips.

"Heh," you laughed quietly, "Of course."

The next day, you were riding in a carriage to Mt. Hakobe along with Natsu, Happy, and...

"Why are you here?" He asked pointedly to the blonde sitting across from you.

"What's the big deal?" Lucy retorted.

"You never said anything about coming," you explained, crossing your arms. "You just showed up."

"I can't help that. You two were about to leave... besides..." Her eyes traveled over to Natsu who was draped over your lap, sick. "You and vehicles don't mix at all, huh? Oh, I feel bad for you in so many ways..."
You laughed and punched your fist into his back. He spluttered out in shock.

"Don't worry about him!" You said, "He's fine. He'll get over it soon enough."

"I... I don't think doing that will help..." Lucy said nervously.

"It keeps him in the loop and helps relax him... isn't that RIGHT?" You slammed your fist into him again.

"Y-yes..." He strained out. You smiled at Lucy and she smiled back, albeit more wary. The carriage you were in suddenly jerked to a stop. You looked around before pushing him off your lap. He fell on top of Happy and they both cried out in pain.

"What's going on?" You asked, standing up.

"IT STOPPED!!!!!!!" Natsu exclaimed, reviving and stomping around on the seat, fire spewing from his mouth.

"Sorry! This is as far as I can go!" The driver called back. You opened the back carriage doors and ice cold wind whipped at your face in a greeting.

"YOU PARKED US IN THE MIDDLE OF A MOUNTAIN!?!?" You yelled in frustration.

"Wh-whoa...! What in the world?!" Lucy exclaimed, coming up to your side. Natsu stood behind you and Happy was holding onto the door for dear life.

"Guess there's no choice," you said, hopping down into the deep snow. "Let's go, you three."

"Aye!" Happy replied immediately. Natsu followed you and Lucy managed to follow you too.

The three of you were walking on the side of the mountain. The blizzard was making the trip harder than it had to be.

"I'm freezing!" Lucy exclaimed, "I know we're on a mountain, but it's supposed to be summer! This blizzard isn't right!"

"You're wearing light clothes," you called back, "What did you think?"

"Give me your blanket!" She tried grabbing the rolled up blanket on Natsu's back.

"Man, she's annoying."

"Aye."

"I know!"
You stopped and turned when Lucy took out one of her keys.

"Open, Gate of the Clock Constellation! Horologium!" A magic circle appeared and through the smoke appeared a grandfather clock.

"Oh! A clock!" Natsu gasped.

"Cool!" Happy added.

'Well, at least we'll never lose track of time.'
Lucy had grabbed his blanket and retreated into the clock. You saw her mouth move, but couldn't hear what she was saying.

"We can't hear you, you know," you spoke.

"'I'm staying in here,' she says," Horologium said.

"Why did she even come?" Natsu asked exasperatedly.

"'What job brought Macao to a place like this?' she asks."

"You came without knowing?" You crossed your arms. "He was gonna subdue a Vulcan, a viscous monster." You and Natsu turned and began to walk away.

"'I want to go back,' she proclaims."

"Be my guest," you called back.

"MACAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU THEREEEEEEEEEE!?!?!?!?!!?!?!!?" You yelled over the winds. Natsu wasn't that far behind, also yelling for him. A tingling sensation went down the back of your head and you quickly turned.

"Natsu!" You exclaimed.

"Yeah, I know!" He also turned right before a Vulcan flew down and slammed its fists into the ground. The both of you jumped out of the way in time. Snow and parts of the mountain flew apart.

"It's a Vulcan!" Happy exclaimed when the snow and dust cleared away enough to see. The Vulcan sniffed the air before running off to the left.

"GET BACK HERE!" You ran towards it, jumping into the air and aiming your leg for it. the Vulcan narrowly dodged it, but your kick was strong enough to create a snow-screen around you. You looked around.

"'Help me already!' she says."

'It took Lucy!?' You burst through and saw Natsu already running. You ran after him, easily catching up.

"What's the plan, Natsu?" You asked.

"Find it and beat it up!"

"... god, you suck."

"SHUT UP!!"

"MMMMMOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" You screamed, running into the cave near the summit of Mt. Hakobe. You could see Lucy, who was no longer in Horologium, and the Vuclcan in the near distance.

"Where is Macao?!" Natsu yelled from next to you before he slipped on the ice and slid right behind the Vulcan. You had to stop yourself from laughing.

'Oh my god I have to do everything by myself.' You gained speed.

"MMMOOOOONNNNKKKKKKKKEEEEEEYYYYY!!!!!!" You aimed a flying front kick and connected it to its head. The Vulcan flew away and crashed into a wall of ice.

"All right monkey! Where's Macao?!" Natsu yelled from his place on the floor.

"YOU DON'T GET TO ASK QUESTIONS WHEN YOU CRASHED INTO A WALL BY YOURSELF, YOU BASTARD!!!" You exclaimed at him, an irk mark appearing on your head. Lucy got up and ran behind you. Natsu stood up and crossed his arms. The Vulcan also got back up.
You got into a fighting stance.

"Wait, Y/n!" Natsu called, holding out his arm. "I've got it!"

"WHATTHEFUCK NATSUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" You yelled over the hole he just got shoved over. Lucy was next to you.

"Oh no! Don't tell me he's dead!" She cried.

"He's fine," you said, "Something like this ain't enough to kill that cockroach."

"How are you so sure?" She asked you. You looked over her and smiled.

"When you've known Natsu as long as me, you'd know he's resilient... but still a complete and utter DUMBASS!!!!!"
