"Girl! Girl! Girl! Girl!"
You two both heard the Vulcan chant. Lucy removed the blanket from her shoulders, but you put your arm out to stop her.

"Let me handle this," you said, "Close your eyes."

"Huh? Why do I need to close my eyes?" She asked. You smiled at her.

"Please, just do it."
With a slow nod, her eyes closed. You looked at the Vulcan and began to walk towards it, closing your (side) eye.

"I'll end this quickly."
You reopened it, revealing a small magic circle beneath.

"Third Circle: Darkness Claw!" A blue magic circle appeared below the Vulcan. Twisting tentacles of darkness appeared and encased it. A black light slowly expanded into a ball before shrinking into the Vulcan and imploding. It flew back across the cavern and crashed into a thick wall of ice.

"Nice one, Y/n!"

"WHEN DID YOU GET HERE!?!?!!?"
You turned back. "Lucy, open your eyes."
She followed your order and looked up. A gasp left her.

"A-amazing..." She breathed.

"Did you use your magic, Y/n?" Natsu asked as both of you walked towards the Vulcan.

"Yeah," you replied.

"AWWW DAMMIT!!! I KNEW I SHOULD'VE GOTTEN HERE SOONER!!!!!"

"Why is he so upset?" Lucy caught up with you guys.

"Because no one in Fairy Tail knows what Y/n's magic is. Except for the Master," Happy replied.

"Really!?"

"Aye!"
The three of you gathered around the Vulcan and stared at it.

"You did it!" Happy exclaimed.

"Wasn't this ape supposed to tell us where Macao is?" Lucy asked nervously.

"Oh, I forgot," you said, rubbing the back of your head.

"He's completely knocked out..."
A bright light emitted from the Vulcan's body. Lucy yelped and grabbed you in alarm. A magic circle appeared before shrinking and sending out more blasts of light and wind. You covered your face with your arm but never took your eyes off of the Vulcan.

"Wh-what the...?!" Natsu gasped. Your eyes also widened. In place of the ape was the man you were looking for.

"Macao!" You exclaimed.

"What?! He was that perverted ape?!" Lucy shrieked.

"The Vulcan must've done a Take Over on him," Happy explained.

"Take Over?" Lucy repeated questioningly.

"It's a body possession spell," you explained further, "Vulcans are monsters that survive by stealing people's bodies and taking them over."

Soon after, Natsu pulled out his backpack and you tended to Macao's wounds. The blanket he brought was laid below him.

"It looks like he put up an intense fight before he was taken over," Happy said.

"Macao! Don't you dare die!" Natsu yelled, leaning over him. "Romeo is waiting for you! Open your eyes!" You pushed him back.

"He's not dying, Natsu," you explained, "Just unconscious. Calm down." He relaxed behind your arm. You kept your eyes on Macao, and when you saw his eyes twitch, you leaned forward slightly.

"Natsu..." He muttered.

"Macao!" He exclaimed, a bright smile coming to his face. A small smile also came to your face.

"I'm pathetic... I defeated nineteen of them... but the twentieth took over me..."
Smile gone.
"I'm really mad at myself... damn. I can't face Romeo now..."

"Macao..."
Happy and Natsu jumped away from you. A glare etched its way to your face. It's been a while since they've seen it. Lucy also backed away.

(Just for reference.)

"Why do you think we're here? Romeo is worried sick about you. How dare you think that." Your expression darkened with each word. Sweat accumulated all over Macao's face.

"R-right... I'm sorry..."
Your face instantly brightened.

"Don't worry about it," you said with a smile, "But cut yourself some slack. Nineteen is impressive enough."
Natsu held out his hand and Macao accepted it, being pulled up.

"Now let's go see Romeo!" Natsu said with a smile. Macao smiled back at him.

It was sundown by the time you returned from Mt. Hakobe. You had Macao supported over your shoulder and Natsu also helped. You spotted Romeo alone on a set of stairs.

"Romeo!" Natsu called to him. Romeo looked up and his mouth made an 'O'. The four of you walked closer to him. Immediately, Romeo ran and jumped into Macao's arms, knocking him over. Lucy shrieked from next to you.
You smiled at them and began to walk away. Natsu, Happy, and Lucy soon followed.

"Y/n! Natsu! Happy! Thank you!" Romeo yelled to you.

"Anytime!" You called back with a wave.

"No problem!" Natsu added.

"Aye!"

"And thank you too, Lucy!"
Lucy turned from next to you and smiled, waving back at him. You watched her with a small smile.

"I'm home..." You opened the door to your house and walked inside the main room. You stopped in the middle of it. The familiar waves of magic pulsing through the air was enough for you.

"Narcissa... Morticia... I know you're there," you called out, "Come on out!"

"Aw, you're no fun!" An albino-haired girl popped out from behind the couch along with a red-head. Your older twin sisters—Morticia and Narcissa L/n, loved trying to catch you off guard and fight you. Once, they succeeded in getting you to brawl with them, but that ended up in... a family incident.

"I consider nothing in this house 'fun'," you said, walking past them. You heard the rustle of a gun behind you and spun around, kicking Narcissa across the room. She crashed into the wall, black pistol sliding across the marble floor.

"What is going on in here?"
You turned to see your mother, V L/n, standing in the doorway.

"Narcissa played a dangerous game and lost. Nothing more nothing less." You tried to walk past her, but she gripped your arm tightly.

"I would suggest you treat your older sisters with respect," she warned, glaring down at you. You met it head on and ripped your arm from her grasp.

"And I suggest you teach your children not to play with fire."
You pushed past her and walked into the hallway. Footsteps echoed from the other end. Your father, Lucious L/n, was walking past you. He knew you were there, he could smell you, but he didn't acknowledge you. He ignored you. Moreso, he couldn't see you.

"Talkative as ever I see, father," you spoke, pausing your walking. You heard him stop also.

"... why are you here?" He asked quietly. You turned your head to look at him.

"This is my home, is it not? It also doesn't kill you to say hello to me once in a while."

"... it might."
You continued to walk.
