'Honey!' You yelled downstairs.

'Yes?!'

You rushed down the stairs right away. You held your hands behind your back.

'Good you're still home.' You smiled.

'Yeah but I'm about to leave for work.' He said while looking at you. 'What's up?' He asked.

'I have to tell you something.' You smiled.

'What do you have to tell me?' He asked.

You grabbed his hand with one of his hands.

'Sit down.' You smiled.

'I have to go soon dear. I don't have time for this.' He said.

'Please! It's very important.'

Draco sat down. You sat down besides him and revealed the package behind your back. It was a box. You handed it to him.

'It's a gift.' You smiled.

'A gift?' He asked while raising his brows.

'Yes! Open it.'

'You're extremely happy..' he said.

'Open iiiitt!'

Draco opened it and grabbed out what was inside. You smiled and watched him. He was a little shocked at first. Of course he was.. You were pregnant. He looked at you.

You had been waiting for this moment for so long. You married Draco two years ago and now you were pregnant. Draco didn't have the best parents and Voldemort wasn't a great father for you.. because of this you and Draco wanted to start your own family.

'You better not be fucking with me.'

'I'm not.' You smiled.

He looked at it again.

'Are you being serious?'

'Yes.'

'You're not joking?'

'No.' You said. 'Draco I'm pregnant.'

Draco put down the test. You saw tears in his eyes. You laid your hand on his back.

'Happy tears?' You asked.

He nodded and looked at you while smiling through his tears. He wiped them away.

'Sorry..' he said.

'It's fine Draco.' You smiled.

'I'm going to be a freaking dad?' He asked.

'Yes!' You exclaimed. 'There's a beautiful new life growing inside of me.'

Draco kissed you and you kissed him back right away. He pulled back, his forehead still leaning against yours.

'I can't even explain how incredibly happy that makes me.' He smiled. 'How incredibly happy you make me.'

'I'm so glad that you think that.' You smiled while grabbing his hands.

You laid his hand on your abdomen. Draco smiled and kissed you shortly.

'We need to tell everyone.' He smiled. 'After I'm back from work.'

'We will.'

'Okay.. good.'

It was quiet for a moment. Draco's smile then faded for a moment. As if he was thinking about something.

'What's wrong?'

'Nothing.' Draco said, making his smile reappear.

'No some thing was wrong.'

'No it's nothing.'

'Dray.' You insisted.

'I just.. I just hope that I'll be better than my dad. It just crossed my mind for a second.'

It hurt you a little to hear that. He was doubting himself but you knew he would be better. Draco wasn't like Lucius.

'Honey.. Of course you're going to be better than you're dad! It's not as if my dad was such a star.'

'I know. It's stupid to think. I just want to give this baby a great life. I want to be different. I don't want this all to go down like it did with me.'

'We've got each other.. We knew what it's like to have horrible parents around us. We knew what's wrong and how we would have wanted to be treated. We can do it all better. We're going to be the best goddamn parents in the whole wide world.'

Draco smiled.

'Luckily I got someone like you besides me.' He smiled. 'To call you my wife and the mother of my child.. I'm so proud.'

'And I'm proud to have you. It's been one hell of a ride.. I'm so glad to share this home with you. To be married with you. To have this baby with you.. We're going to start a family Draco.'

Drasco smiled right away. The thought of starting of a family with you just made him incredibly happy.

'I can't wait to tell everyone..  To get all this baby stuff.. tiny clothes.. but mostly to meet this little guy or girl.'

'I have exactly the same. I'm so glad you're happy.'

You pressed your lips against his again.

'You're going to be late.' You said.

'Oh shoot.. I know.' He grinned. 'I'll be back as soon as I can.'

You walked with him towards the door. He stepped outside. You waved at him and watched him leave.

It was a good life. Life with Draco was so much better then you expected.. and even though you lived without any family, you saw his family as yours.. And soon you would be starting your own.

You left everything that happened at Hogwarts in your past. Everyone knew about your past but you weren't in trouble. You had a job, you lived at the Malfoy Mannor, You had great friends. It was all good. Amazing even.

9 months later your first son was born. Scorpius Malfoy. He looked a lot like Draco with his amazing hair and eyes.. but he also had some features from you. Draco was an amazing dad like you expected. He really liked being with the baby and spending family time together. He even started working less for you two.

Your future was like you imagined it. A perfect family. A loving husband, an amazing son.. A happy marriage. The last name riddle didn't determine things for you anyone. You couldn't wait for Scorpius to enjoy the wonders of Hogwarts.. It was going to be the time of his life.
