40 ~ I'm going home
Huge time skip because I want this story to go to the 4th year or 5th year as fast as possible
-
'I've made up my mind.' You spoke while sitting down besides Hermione and Ron in the library. 'I'm going home this Christmas.'
The Gryffindors looked at you.
'You haven't been talking to us in weeks and that's the first thing you say?' Harry asked.
You sighed.
'Alright... I'm sorry that I got sorted in Slytherin and made a new friends called Blaise and I now hardly talk to you, but really I can't help it because I'm in a different house and finally accepted after weeks which I would like to keep that way.' You said.
'So you think it's more important to be accepted in Slytherin then talking to your friends?' Harry asked.
'Harry calm down... why are you going home Y/N? Your parents will die.' Hermione said.
'Yes, but if I go home I'll be able to protect them!'
'So you think you can save them while you're in your third year at Hogwarts? They have finished their education, Y/N... we should take your dreams really seriously! They have all been coming true.' Hermione commented.
You sighed.
'You won't be able to save them. You aren't strong enough... not yet.' Harry spoke.
'I could always try... I have to try. I can't just let my parents die. Am I supposed to do that?! You know what... never mind.'
You got up and left the library. You sighed and walked into the corridor. You saw Draco... wearing short sleeves? No... that couldn't be true. Draco was a death eater... he didn't want anyone to know. You wanted to walked towards him when Blaise walked towards you.
'Hi Y/N!'
You looked at him and smiled.
'Hi Blaise.'
'Where are you off to?' He asked.
'Well...' you looked passed his shoulder and saw that Draco was gone. 'No where actually. Just... walking.'
'Well should I just walk with you?' He joked.
You grinned and nodded.
'Blaise, I think I'm going to go home this Christmas.'
You told Blaise about the dreams and about your parents.
'Are you sure? You know that your dream will come true.'
'I know... maybe I can protect them... I can try at least.' You sighed.
'I admire your courage.' He smiled. 'You can always try!'
'That's what I wanted to hear.' You smiled.
You walked towards the common room with Blaise while chatting.
'I'll be upstairs... I'm going to let my parents know that I'll be coming home.'
'Are you sure about this? Like 100%?'
'Yes Blaise... don't worry. I haven't even told them that I got resorted. It will be good if I sent them a letter.'
'Okay! I'll see you later.' He smiled.
You hurried up to your room and sat down. You grabbed some paper and a quill.
Dear mom and dad,
How are you doing? I'm doing fine! I have a few things I want to tell you guys!
First off all... I got resorted. The sorting hat made a mistake. I'm a Slytherin now. When I think about it, it isn't that weird. I also speak parseltongue. I wanted to ask if any of you two could do that too. I found it out last year but didn't dare to ask. Slytherin is an okay house. I made a new friend Blaise. He's really nice, I also avoid Draco... it makes it a lot more difficult like this but I just ignore him.
Then I wanted to tell you guys that I will be coming home this winter. I want to do everything in my power to keep you guys alive. If my dream says that you'll die, I'll make sure it won't happen! I know you don't believe in my dreams to forsee the future... but please, I want to go home. Something wants you two dead and I don't get why. It would help me if you'd just tell me... but okay. I'll see you this winter.
Lots of love,
Y/N.
You folded the letter and gave it to your owl.
'Bring this home.' You smiled.
You let her go and sat down on your bed with a sigh. At that moment pansy came in with Draco.
'Oh, I forgot this goon.' Pansy sighed.
'Don't worry, I was just leaving.'
You got up and walked towards the door. You glanced at Draco.
'It's funny... I thought you hated wearing short sleeves.' You spoke before leaving.
You hurried downstairs. You hurried out and hurried to the DADA classroom.
'Professor.'
Lupin looked up and smiled.
'Hello Y/N. What can I help you with?' He asked.
'Is it possible for a dark mark to vanish? Is there any way?'
Lupin was quiet for a moment.
'Why? Are you-'
'No! No no no... look.' You pulled up your sleeves.
'Oh... no... it's not possible. Or it had to be fake. That is possible.'
Fake? Fake... no way. Draco... was a fake? That couldn't be possible.
'Thank you sir.'
You hurried out of the classroom towards the Slytherin common room. Draco was upstairs... if you'd go back Pansy would be there. You had to know. He couldn't have been a fake! If he faked that... he brought you to the dark Lord himself. It had all been his choice... maybe he was never in love with you.
That thought made you angry... no furious. You stormed up into your room.
'Malfoy, I need to have a word with you.' You spoke to the boy who was sitting on the bed with Pansy.
'Why?' He asked.
'Yes, leave my boyfriend alone.'
'Were you a fake?' You asked.
Draco looked at you in confusion.
'A fake? A fake what?'
'I'll say it in front of pugface.' You spoke while crossing your arms.
'What?! No i wasn't a fake Y/N... I'm still not-'
'I don't believe you. You filthy little d-'
Draco got up and pushed you onto the hallway.
'Could you stop? I'm not a fake. I'm just hiding it.' He whispered.
'I asked lupin. You can't. I swear to gosh if you were a fake I'm going to kill you. Just be honest you idiot.'
'I'm not a fake. I swear.'
'I don't believe you... but okay... just prove me that you're a real one.'
He looked at you in confusion.
'Show me your mark.' You spoke while crossing your arms.
'Are you crazy? Pansy is in there. She can't know.'
'I don't care Malfoy. Just show me.'
'I don't need to prove anything. You saw it with your own eyes. Don't you believe yourself?'
'I have problems believing a lot of people. Like you, Dumbledore, my parents.'
Draco sighed.
'I'm not them, and you're not them. So just leave me alone.' He hissed before walking back in.
You crossed your arms and walked downstairs. You sat down on one of the leather couches.

A few days later your owl was back. You opened the window and grabbed the letter.
Dear Y/N,
We're fine honey, really.
Slytherin? Parseltongue? That's weird. Non of us speak parseltongue and I don't thing you're a Slytherin. You're a fine Gryffindor like us. I don't get it... I honestly don't.
We don't want you to come home darling. You aren't strong enough to save us and you might bring yourself into danger! We can try to defeat what ever is coming. We had expected this already but we can't tell you why. What ever you do... even if you come home... don't listen to them. To no one. They're lying. We love you Y/N, they will do anything to convince you. You're a Y/L, a proud Y/L and you'll always be a Y/L... we love you.
Xx
Mom and dad.
Don't listen to them? Who's them? What was going on? You started to get more and more confused with who you were and what was happening to your life. You couldn't believe that this was happening. This couldn't all be real. Since you went to Hogwarts thing got so much more complicated then they had to be. Why didn't they just tell you?
You put the letter away and got up. You pet your owl and stared out of the window. You heard the door open. You turned around and saw Blaise.
'Ready for breakfast?'
'Just go... I'll be right there.'
Blaise looked at you.
'Are you okay?' He asked.
'I'm fine.' You sighed while sitting down on your bed.
Blaise walked over to you and sat down besides you.
'Did you get a letter back?' He asked.
You nodded and handed him the letter. He read it.
'Don't listen to them? Who's them?'
You shrugged.
'I have to go home and find out. I need to know who I am and what's going on with my life.'
'Do you want me to come with you? I mean, my parents are going to let me stay here.'
'No, I won't won't put you in danger. I refuse to put you in danger. I have to do this myself.'
