I ran but didn't move, I screamed but didn't make a sound. The red sky became black like a night without the stars and the moon. Suddenly I felt a burning sensation in the back of my throat and I choked up. The world around me became liquid. A voice wrapped around me like a delicate whisper, " The one who summons the water and fire will journey and-" I jolt and wake up in a cold sweat, my fire colored hair stuck on the back of my neck. I always wake up right at that spot, why?

Boska, my owl, is staring at me with her ocean blue eyes and standing with her silver lined cream feathers glistening in the sun. I never knew why I named her that but it was what my mind told me to name her. I look outside and then at my alarm clock, "crap, I'm going to be late for school!" I quickly dressed in my favorite black tank-top and my dark jeans. I hurried to the kitchen and ran for the coffee pot on the table. I pour a cup and sip on the bitter black coffee. I grab a toaster strudel and pop it in the toaster. Aunt Camille and Uncle Ben aren't up yet, I turn around and head for the bathroom. I see myself in the mirror, my fire red hair all over my face and my face still slick with sweat. I brush my hair. I leave a note on the kitchen table, grab my toaster strudel and head out for school.

At school I head for first period, science. It's an okay class. I mean Mrs. Anilis isn't a teacher to love or hate but she does seem found of me, not in a good way though. She always asks me how I feel and if I knew someone named " Phantom". Bit creepy if you ask me! I wonder what she is going to ask me today? I walk in and it is quiet. All my class mates look at me then turn to Mrs. Anilis. She looked terrible and i mean that in the nicest way possible! Her hair it is mangled, Her face is beaded with sweat and her eyes are blood shoot. " Where is Phantom.", she said frantically. Thinking she was at the bar last night I replied, " I don't now any damn Phantom dude, their is the Phantom bar but-" she cut me off saying, " Where is Phantom! " Now I was scared. She stood up and, without turning to look at the other students, yelled, " Get out now!" Without hesitation they all grabbed their items and ran out the room. I wasn't paying attention and suddenly felt a painful and stinging on my neck. Was I imaging things, or did Mrs. Anilis have canines, scales, four arms and holding a green colored fire. "Where is Phantom!"
