HOLY CRAP! 2K READS?! WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! 

Haha! No, seriously guys. 2K reads. Man. That's a lot. I looked at the views for my chapters... I have an average of 50-60 reads PER chapter. THAT'S A LOT OF PEOPLE! And I really appreciate it, so thank you. Thank you so, so much. 

Now, as a reward... No, you do not get the sequel yet. I'm sorry.

I would publish the sequel... But I only have three chapters done so far and I'd at least like to get to fifteen before starting to publish. So, sorry about that.

BUT!!!! I have something else to share instead. So, as you guys probably don't know, I LOVE music. Like LOOOVE music. I listen to music so much. So, being the person I am, I ended up finding a whole bunch of songs that reminded me of this story. Take a listen and tell me if you agree or not! But anyways, thanks again and here we go!

"Lost It All" by Black Veil Brides -                             This song was actually featured in Chapter 27 and was told to be one of Jack's favorite songs. Now, most of the explaining I think was already done in that chapter. Jack really relates to it, and even in the sequel he does. This song is also one of my favorite songs, so naturally I listened to it a lot. One day when listening, I could only think about this story and Jack's character in this.

"Who You Are" by Jessie J -                                          So I originally listened to this in Nightcore, so this is the Nightcore version. Anyways, I like this song and it makes me think of the story mainly because it's so different from how Jack thinks. It's how Mark wants Jack to think, but he can't really. Jack, both here and in the sequel, finds it hard to be himself and be true to himself. Mark wants nothing but the best, so I guess this is kind of Mark's message to Jack.

"Pieces" by Red -                                                             Again, Nightcore. Don't judge me. Anyways, I really like this song just by itself. It's so beautiful. But it relates to the story a lot I think. Not just this story, but a lot of my stories. This is kind of an anthem to my stories... But anyways, back to this story. I can't tell you much, mainly because this relates more to the sequel then anything else, but you can probably get the message from listening to it.

"I Wouldn't Mind" by He Is We -                               I love this song so much. So, so much. I actually found out about this from a Septiplier story (what're the chances?). Anyways, this song really is a message. It's what Mark wanted to say to Jack for those whole three months, and what Jack wanted to say to Mark for even longer. It's a truly beautiful song and I think it really describes part of their love for each other.

"Kohaku-T" from the Blank Dream soundtrack -                                                                                                                                                                   It's short, only 43 seconds long, but it's so beautiful and it... Gah! It's just so peaceful and nice and... Think of Chapter 50. The two on the hill, looking at the sunset. Can't you just imagine this playing in the background? Cause I can...

"Renegades" by X Ambassadors -                         This song I actually don't know as well as the others. I heard it on the radio and I was just like "Mark and Jack". So yeah. I think the reason it appealed to me is because Jack, for a good portion of his life, has lived kind of like a rebel, and he wants to convert Mark into that side. He wants to just... Go and have fun, be free, with the love of his life. 

"Unsteady" by X Ambassadors -                                      Again, another radio song. But I could only think of Mark and Jack. Especially with the chorus part. This is kind of Jack's cry for help, though he would never admit to it. Again, this song related a lot to the sequel more then this. (Spoiler, we'll learn more about Jack's past in the sequel).

"Candle In The Rain" by MIIA -                                   Another beautiful song. All of these are beautiful but this especially is beautiful to me. This is kind of Mark's answer to Jack's cry. All he wants to do is help Jack and make him happy. He'll be that light Jack needs in the rain, he'll be the one to keep him upright. Just like the song says.

"Monsters" by Timeflies -                                           This is a song where both of them are talking. Mark's the one saying "I can help, I can tell what's going on, I can see the pain, let me help" while Jack is saying "I know it's been a while, I know that I'm hurt, but I can't help it, it hurts, please help but don't help". Again, like the song says. I just imagine them having a lot of conversations like this in the sequel (foreshadowing? Maybe...)

"How You Remind Me" by Nickelback -                 This song kind of explains how Jack lost his way a lot and really wasn't used to people being nice, or doing things and he's scared about opening up to people. But Mark helps him and that's really important, though maybe slightly scary. This is also about how Mark was kind of just... Ready to give up until Jack came and reminded him of everything.

"Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol -                             This is just one of those songs where you listen to it and you either think of you and your crush or your OTP Ship. 

"One Week" by Barenaked Ladies -                              So this needs a bit of explanation. The reason this is here is because this is totally how I see one of Mark and Jack's arguments go. Just an argument about something stupid, a whole bunch of random crap is brought up, and then they go back to arguing, and so on so on. Tell me I'm not the only one.

"Same Love" by Macklemore -                                    This is a song I wish I knew better. But I don't. However, I feel like this song is about stereotypes, something that Jack's always struggled with. Mark however, knows that he is who he is and is okay with that. He wants to help Jack get through the stereotypes and hate, though it's harder then he thinks.

"We Don't Belong" by Black Veil Brides -             This song is kind of Mark and Jack's anthem. They fit in with each other, but that's kind of it. They don't fit in anywhere else. But they keep getting up (or do they...?).

"Done For You" by Black Veil Brides -                      (oh my god mouth noises). Lol. That aside, this song is so good and way to short. Like, seriously. WAY to short. Honestly, I don't have any words. Just... Imagine. Imagine Jack and Mark at senior prom dancing to this song together. It's just perfect... Right?
