2016 ― Tree Hill, North Carolina
Keith's wedding day has arrived.
Logan felt sick to her stomach about everything. Jules asked Logan if she wanted to be a bridesmaid because Keith is her uncle, but she respectfully declined and told Jules she had to understand why, which she did. Instead, Jules asked both of Logan's moms to be bridesmaids, which the girl thought was even weirder.
It was the weekend, which meant Logan was at the Scott House. Nathan was there with her, hanging out with her and Lucas. After Logan and Nathan spent those few hours in jail and Logan confessed everything, their relationship improved. Nathan also agreed to hear Lucas out and Lucas explained the other reason he's living with Dan is because Dan is paying for his HCM medication.
His anger toward them dissipated once Nathan finally realized his siblings did not willingly move in with their father. Nathan was going through the fridge, putting yogurt and other things in his bag. Logan shook her head as she rolled her eyes. She told Nathan she was going to the store tomorrow and to give her a list of what he wanted.
Lucas walked to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water, tossed it to his sister, and then grabbed one for himself. Then he looked at Nathan. "Just leave the caviar. I've acquired a taste for it," Lucas teased. Nathan laughed as Lucas sat down at the table. Logan was on top of the counter, and Nathan was still at the fridge.
"You know there's going to be food at Keith's wedding, right? And I told you to give me a list because I'm getting groceries tomorrow," Logan said. Nathan shrugged.
"I'm not going to the wedding, and I left the list in your room," Nathan said.
"Come on, Nate. He's our Uncle. You're really not going to his wedding?" Logan asked.
"Yeah, Nate... don't do that to him," Lucas agreed.
"Look who's talking. I can't believe the two of you are actually letting him go through with this," Nathan said. Logan looked at Lucas because their brother was right. She couldn't believe they were letting Keith go through with it either. If he ever found out the truth and found out that they knew the truth and didn't tell him, he'd be pissed.
But then again, he also knew the truth about what Dan did and never spoke up... maybe he'd think they were even, no matter how messed up that sounded.
"He loves her... she loves him. She just made a mistake. You gonna crucify her for the rest of her life?" Lucas asked. Logan knew he was also referring to Haley in that.
"Haley called this morning," Nathan said.
"Nate! That's amazing. What did she say?" Logan asked.
"Yeah... she called to tell me she's going to be on TV today. You believe that?" He asked and Logan scoffed while shaking her head. Haley has barely called or kept in touch since she left, and when she does finally call her husband, it's only to tell him that she's going to be on TV.
Logan thought that was extremely selfish.
"It's still awesome for her man," Lucas said and Logan shook her head.
"Okay, Luke, we know you're biased to her because she's your best friend and all, but where's your sibling loyalty? Nathan hasn't heard from her since she left, weeks ago, and when she finally does call, it's only to tell Nathan she's going to be on TV. She didn't even ask how he was. That's incredibly rude," Logan said. Lucas sighed but he didn't respond.
"Whatever, it doesn't matter," Nathan said as he grabbed a water bottle from the fridge.
"Look, Nate. I think you should come to the wedding," Lucas said and Logan nodded.
"Yeah, Nate. A lot of people miss you. Us included," Logan said. She knows she lives with Nathan, but ever since Haley left, he's been such a shell of his former self that Logan still missed her brother. Logan heard footsteps approaching the kitchen, and she was hoping it wasn't her Dad.
"Nathan!" Deb's voice rang out. She was surprised and happy to see her son standing in the kitchen. "I'm so glad you're here. Um... let me make you some eggs," She said and Logan laughed.
"Really, Mom? Eggs?" Logan said. Deb gave her daughter a look, making Logan laugh more, and then Deb turned back to Nathan.
"I think you're out," Nathan said as he closed the fridge.
"Check his bag, they're probably there. Since someone can't be patient and wait for my grocery trip to restock our apartment," Logan said. Nathan gave her a look, but he was still smiling.
"It's so good to see you," Deb said. Nathan didn't respond. He closed his bag and walked to the front door. Logan gave her Mom an apologetic look before following after her brother to walk him to the door. Logan quickly hugged him.
"Think about coming to the wedding, okay? I know it would mean a lot to Keith if you were there," Logan said. Nathan nodded and leaned down to kiss her cheek.
"I will think about it, but no promises. If I don't come, I'll see you tomorrow, right?" He asked and Logan nodded.
"Tomorrow's Sunday, so yes you will," Logan said with a smile. Nathan nodded as he squeezed her shoulder before walking out of the door, but he called back over his shoulder.
"Bye, Lo."

"Hello, my two hot bestest friends," Logan Scott said when she entered Peyton's room. Peyton was standing in front of her mirror, holding a dress in front of her, but she didn't have it on. Logan figured she was trying to see if she liked how it would potentially look on her.
"There's our favorite dirty blonde," Brooke responded and Logan smiled.
"Thanks, Lo... and this one wasn't my Mom's, so," Peyton trailed and Logan frowned. At their formal, someone spilled a drink on the dress she was wearing, which was the same dress her Mom wore to her formal, and the drink ruined the dress.
"Yeah, well... Neither was this one," Brooke said as she opened her coat to reveal the dress she had on underneath. It was multicolored, a little sparkly, but very Brooke Davis.
"Whoa," Peyton and Logan said.
"I know. I kind of Anne Frank'd a couple of things in the attic before the yard sale," Brooke said.
"Brooke, I didn't know you were going to the wedding," Logan said and she nodded.
"Yeah, with Lucas," She said, and then she noticed the looks her best friends were giving her. "But just as friends," She quickly added. Peyton and Logan shared a look and raised their eyebrows. Logan knows that the real reason Lucas broke up with Anna is because he's still in love with Brooke. During her weekends at Dan, they've talked, a lot.
"Really?" Peyton asked and Brooke nodded.
"Come on, love triangles are so last season," Brooke said and Logan laughed.
"So... that means Felix is cool with it, right?" Logan asked.
"I actually haven't um... told him yet," Brooke said.
"Brooke!" Peyton exclaimed.
"I know, it's just... I've never been just friends with a guy before except Mouth and that's different," Brooke said. Logan nodded. It is different. Her being friends with Mouth is very different from her being friends with Lucas because Mouth isn't her ex-boyfriend, and their dynamic has never been romantic.
"Well, how's it going?" Peyton asked.
"Good! Felix is my boyfriend. Lucas and I are just friends, I promise. But I love the two of you for looking out for me," Brooke said and Logan smiled.
"Of course," Logan said.
"On the subject of boys, Lo, you first. How are things going with Roman?" Brooke asked. Logan couldn't help the smile that came onto her face at the mention of her boyfriend's name.
"I think I'm falling in love with him, or really, I'm already there. I admitted it on the time capsule," Logan said. Her best friends smiled widely at her as their eyes also widened.
"Really?" Peyton asked and Logan nodded as she felt her face getting warmer, so she knew she was blushing. Brooke and Peyton started giggling and playfully teasing her, only causing her cheeks to flush more.
"Okay, you told the capsule, but have you told him?" Brooke asked and Logan shook her head.
"Not yet... I might tell him today though if the moment is right. What better occasion to tell someone you love them for the first time than at a wedding?" Logan said and the girls laughed.
"I know we always teased you about Roman, but it does make me happy to see you so happy. You deserve it, Lo," Brooke said. Logan smiled at her.
"I agree. Just don't get married yet," Peyton teased and they all laughed again.
"Well, since Nathan and I aren't twins, I don't think I share that spontaneity, let's get married at 17, side of him," Logan teased and they laughed, but then Brooke shook her head.
"You know, it's weird. Even though you and Nate technically aren't twins, I still think of you that way. You two were raised together, you have the same mannerisms. I think you two will always be the Scott twins to me," Brooke said and Logan smiled.
"Honestly, I've started to think of us as the Scott triplets. Nathan is only three months younger than us, so it's not bad. But anyways, I will not be getting married anytime soon, you don't have to worry about that," Logan said.
"And last but certainly not least. Any Jake updates?" Brooke asked Peyton.
"You know, still taking it slow," Peyton said with a shrug.
"Oh, slow is good, but fast is better," Brooke said. Logan started laughing because of the innuendo Brooke was making. Peyton smirked.
"Shut up!" Peyton playfully said. Logan stood up from Peyton's bed and joined her two friends at the mirror, and she slung her arms around them.
"So... who's having slutty wedding sex today?"

Roman came to pick Logan up from the Scott House, and when she walked out and saw him in his suit, she felt that she got the wind knocked out of her. Roman had always been handsome, but seeing how well he cleaned up, he took her breath away. His curls sat perfectly on top of his head, his brown eyes glistening in the sun, and she'd always loved how long his eyelashes were.
Roman was equally mesmerized by his girlfriend when he saw her in her dress [red dress from the gif]. She had her hair in half updo. Her updo was a bun, and she curled the rest of her hair. Roman was in awe, and he couldn't believe someone like Logan chose him to be her boyfriend when she could have anybody she wanted.
"Hi," Logan said. She started to feel nervous under his gaze, but also she felt how much she loved him bubbling in her chest to the point where it made her feel like she could explode at any moment.
"Hi," Roman greeted her back with a smile. He took her into his arms and pressed a gentle kiss to her lips. "You look so beautiful," Roman said and Logan smiled as she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him.
"And you look very handsome," Logan whispered into his ear. They pulled away from their hug and smiled at each other. Roman kept her hand in his, gently rubbing circles against her knuckles. He could see some signs of her binging and purging, but her contour was able to cover most of it if you were to look at her from a distance.
"How are you feeling?" Roman asked in a soft voice. Logan knew there were multiple meanings behind his question. She gently squeezed his hand as she smiled.
"Right now. I feel happy," Logan said. Roman smiled as he gently kissed her again.
"Me too. I'm always happy when I'm with you, Lo. Are you ready to go?" He asked. Logan smiled as she nodded. She linked her arm with his as they walked to his car. Roman opened the passenger side door for her and gave her another kiss before closing the door and getting in on the driver's side. Logan took a deep breath as Roman pulled out of the driveway. Something about the moment made it hit her that he would be leaving for High Flyers soon.
Even though he was right beside her, she already missed him.

"Well, well, well, my children clean up good," Dan Scott greeted Lucas and Logan when they arrived at the wedding with Roman and Brooke. The four of them were walking in together, and Logan's parents, Dan and Deb were greeting the guests as they walked into the church. The four of them stopped.
"Thanks," Logan said politely.
"Thank you," Lucas said and then he looked at Deb. "How are you, Deb?" He asked. Logan noticed the tense looks shared between Lucas and her Mom, even though her Mom smiled and tried to hide it. What Logan didn't know was that Lucas had found Deb's stash of pills earlier and when he asked her about them, she got defensive and confrontational.
"Great! The place is beautiful," Deb said. Logan smiled at her Mom, but she was still wondering what was going on.
"I think we're gonna head inside," Lucas said as he and Brooke started to walk away.
"Save a slow dance for me, Miss Davis," Dan said and Logan rolled her eyes. Dan looked at his daughter. "Save your old man a dance?" He asked. Logan shrugged.
"Depends on how I feel. Come on, Ro," Logan said as she started to walk inside the church.
"Logan, you do look beautiful," Deb said and Logan smiled.
"Thanks, Mom," She said before practically dragging her boyfriend inside so she didn't have to speak to her parents any longer. Roman laughed once they were inside and Logan took a deep breath while shaking her head. "I feel horrible about this wedding," She whispered.
"Hopefully everything will work out," Roman said as he gently rubbed her back.
"I'm gonna go find Keith and talk to him. Will you be okay for a bit until I get back?" Logan asked. Roman nodded before leaning down and kissing the top of my head.
"Don't worry about me, go ahead," He said. Logan nodded and gave him a quick kiss before walking through the church to find the room her Uncle would be getting ready in. She heard Lucas laughing, so she followed his laugh until she found him with their Uncle.
"Old habits die hard, huh?" Lucas asked when he saw Keith grab a fluke of what he thought was champagne.
"It's just water, smart ass," Keith said. Logan laughed, bringing the men's attention to her. "You look beautiful, Lo," He said and she smiled.
"Thank you, Uncle Keith. How are you feeling?" She asked.
"Like it's very hot in here," He said as he shook his head.
"You're going to be fine," Logan said with a reassuring smile.
"I know. Lucas, I'm glad you're my best man and Logan, I'm glad you're here. Even though you both live with the devil... Logan only part-time," Keith said. Logan laughed while Lucas groaned. "Hey, listen... I don't want to get mushy, but thank you both," Keith said.
"For what?" Logan asked.
"Just... for being who you both are. Lucas for being my best man. Logan for being the best niece. I know Nathan and I don't have that much of a relationship, which is partially my fault because I could've initiated contact with him, but we do, and I'm glad about it. And I'm really proud of the young man and woman you're both becoming," Keith said with a smile.
Logan felt sick. He wouldn't be proud if he knew the secret she was keeping from him, and she hated that she was, but she was hoping that he and Jules would be able to be happy and maybe Jules would tell him the truth in her own time.
"Nah... who do you think I learned it from?" Lucas said and Keith smiled.
"I mean, you basically had a hand in raising me too, so I learned it from you too. Obviously not everything about womanhood, but you know what I mean," Logan said and Keith laughed. Then he noticed Karen standing behind the twins and he cleared his throat.
"Um, just give me a second, huh?" He said. Logan and Lucas turned around to see Karen there. They looked at each other knowing it was their cue to go.
"Yeah, we'll be inside," Logan said as they left and headed back to the main part of the church.
"You really do look great, sis," Lucas said and Logan smiled.
"So do you... although, where'd your suit jacket go?" Logan asked and he smiled.
"Brooke was cold so I gave it to her," Lucas said. Logan turned to her brother with a smirk and he shook his head. "Stop... we're just friends," He said.
"She is, you're not," Logan said and Lucas rolled his eyes. "You guys are totally having slutty wedding sex tonight," She said and Lucas rolled his eyes again.
"She has a boyfriend named Felix," Lucas said.
"So? A relationship didn't stop you before," Logan said. Lucas gave her a look and she laughed as she held up her hands in surrender. "I'm sorry, that wasn't fair," Logan said.
"I know, but that's the problem. My relationship with Brooke didn't stop me before and that's how I lost her," Lucas said. Logan softly smiled as she laid her hand down on Lucas' arm.
"If you want her back and it's meant to be... she'll come back," Logan said and Lucas smiled.
"Come on, I'll walk you to your seat."

The ceremony hadn't started yet, but it was almost time. Logan was sitting with her boyfriend Roman, and her best friends Brooke and Peyton. Peyton had also brought Jake as her date. "Don't do it, Keith! Just get out while you can! It's all a lie!" Nathan Scott yelled from outside the church.
Logan immediately knew he was drunk.
"Oh, this is not happening," Logan whispered as she stood up from her seat. She made her way to the aisle and her father, brother, and mother were already making their way outside.
"There's no such thing as forever!" Nathan yelled. When Dan opened the doors, Nathan had smashed his bottle on the ground.
"What the hell are you doing? This is a church for goodness sake!" Dan snapped.
"Oh, shut your hole you freaking hypocrite! I know what you did!" Nathan shouted. Logan and Lucas exchanged a look and Logan sighed. Nathan tends to have loose lips when he's drunk and the last thing they needed was Nathan shouting for everyone to hear how Dan paid Jules to fall in love with Keith and then break his heart.
"Nathan, it's okay. Let us help you," Deb said as she rushed toward him. Nathan started laughing while shaking his head.
"Do what?" Nathan asked.
"Be happy again," Deb said and Nathan laughed more.
"Happy? You don't even know how to be happy, Mom. Haley and I never stood a chance with you!" Nathan said. Deb looked as if her son had physically slapped her as she frowned.
"Is that what you think?" Deb asked. Nathan targeted his fury back at Dan.
"You," He snarled as he pointed at his father. "Did you hire Chris too, huh?" He snapped. Logan frowned. She knew this downward spiral would only get worse if they didn't get him out of there soon.
"Don't make me knock you out, son!" Dan hissed at him.
"Screw you! You sick son of a bitch," Nathan shouted back. Dan reached out to grab him, but Nathan easily dodged him. Logan hadn't noticed that her boyfriend followed them outside. Roman quickly grabbed his best friend, and Logan approached them while Lucas was keeping Dan in check.
"Nate, don't do this to Keith... not here... What's going on?" Logan asked in a soft voice. She knew something had to happen to trigger Nathan to react like this.
"She said she was with Chris... on national TV," Nathan said. Logan and Roman looked at each other and frowned.
"She what?" Logan asked.
"Nathan, come on... she wouldn't do that. She loves you," Roman said. Nathan shook his head and Logan sighed. It made sense why he got drunk and came down here to start shouting about the wedding.
"That's what I thought too... It's really over, huh?" Nathan asked and Logan frowned.
"Only if you say it is," Roman said. Nathan looked at his sister, tears in his eyes, and heartbreak all over his face. It was almost as if he was pleading for his sister to save him. Logan wished she could take his pain away from him and carry it herself, but she didn't know how. It broke her heart and made her even angrier at Haley.
"I'm hurting, Lo," Nathan said. Logan frowned more as she hugged him tightly. Nathan wrapped his arms around her and hugged her back and she gently kissed his cheek.
"I know, Nate... but it's going to be okay," She said. Nathan quickly shook his head and gently pushed his sister off of him. She noticed his cheeks started to puff and he laid his hand on his chest.
"No, I mean... I think I'm gonna puke," Nathan said as he ran in the opposite direction of them toward the bushes. Logan could hear him puking and then he fell down in the bushes. Logan sighed as she turned to her boyfriend and rested her head on his chest.
"I don't know how to help him."
⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎⇎
Brooke set up a driving service for students or anyone who was drunk to be driven home so nobody would get DUIs or cause accidents. Brooke called her service to have Nathan dropped off at home and Logan was grateful. She also thought Brooke was awesome for coming up with that idea. Everyone had now gone back into the church, waiting for the ceremony to start. Roman was holding his girlfriend's hand and he could feel her shaking.
"Be calm, Lo... you're going to be okay," Roman said and Logan shook her head.
"It's not me I'm worried about," Logan said.
Deb and Karen were bridesmaids, which Logan found weird and awkward, but the two of them walked down the aisle. Lucas was already standing at the altar. Deb and Karen took their places on the opposite side of Keith and then the wedding march started. Everyone stood as they waited for Jules to walk out, but she wasn't.
Logan's eyes scanned around the room and she saw her father smirking. She had a bad feeling. The music continued to play and after a few more minutes, Jules still wasn't coming. Logan looked to the altar. Keith and Lucas both had nervous looks on their faces. Logan turned back around when she heard footsteps and then she saw Karen's boyfriend Andy walk out.
"I'm sorry... she left," Andy said with a frown on his face. Logan frowned as she turned to the altar. Lucas met her eyes and they both had the same look in their eyes. Who told?
Keith looked down and Logan turned to her Dad, who was still wickedly smirking. Logan shook her head. She was positive that he had something to do with it. She didn't understand how Dan could be so evil. Then Keith looked at his nephew. "Give me your keys!" He said.
"Uncle Keith, we should talk about...-" Keith cut Lucas off.
"...-Lucas, just give me your keys," He said. Lucas sighed and took his keys out of his pocket. As soon as Keith had them in his grasp, he ran off to search for his runaway bride.
"Keith!" Lucas called after him. The siblings, Dan, Deb, and Karen all ran out after Keith. He didn't stop, he didn't look over his shoulder. He got in Lucas' car and quickly drove off. When Logan turned around and saw Dan approaching, she was pissed.
"You said you were done! Lucas moves in, I partially move in, you'd leave Keith and Jules alone!" Logan snapped. Dan shook his head.
"I didn't do anything. I promise you. I wouldn't jeopardize my relationship with the two of you again," Dan said and then he turned to Logan. "Especially since you are only at the house on the weekends," He said. Strangely enough, Logan believed him. So if Dan didn't say anything, who did?
"You sick bastard!" Lucas snapped.
"I threatened to tell Keith," Karen spoke from behind the twins. The pair turned around with shock in their eyes. Now Logan was pissed all over again. Jules wouldn't have run if Karen wouldn't have threatened her. And what right did Karen have to threaten her? She had her chance to have Keith and she rejected him.
"What?" Logan said.
"I found out about your arrangement and I went to Jules, and I threatened to tell Keith the truth," Karen said. Logan scoffed as she shook her head.
"Keith was happy, but you just couldn't have that, could you, Karen?" Logan said. Lucas and Karen both looked in shock.
"Logan...-" Deb started to say, but Logan cut her Mom off.
"...-No, Mom. Uncle Keith was in love with Karen for years, and she knew that. She kept him close enough to keep his affections but still held him at arm's length because she didn't want to commit. You rejected him. He proposed to you first and you said no. You also currently have a boyfriend. What right did you have to threaten to ruin his happiness? You can date whoever you want, but Keith is only allowed to be in love with you? Congratulations, Karen. You broke his heart twice," Logan snapped. Karen's face went completely pale, Lucas was shocked, Deb was shocked, and Dan was smirking.
Logan shook her head and made her way back inside the church. She knew what she said was harsh and unfair, but she was not stupid. She'd known about her uncle being in love with Karen for years, and she knew how long he wanted to marry her. She rejected him, so he had every right to move on, and although she didn't like Jules for what she did to initiate the relationship, she was willing to give her a chance if she really did love Keith.
"Are you okay?" Roman asked when his girlfriend walked back inside. She shook her head.
"No... can you just take me home, please? I want to check on Nathan, and then can you stay for a little bit?" Logan asked. Roman nodded as he wrapped his arm around her.
"Of course, baby. What's going on? What happened out there?" Roman asked.
"Jules ran because of Karen, and I said some really nasty things to her," Logan said as she sighed.
"What?" Roman asked.
"Karen somehow found out the truth about Jules, and she found out about mine and Luke's arrangement with Dan. She said she went to Jules and threatened to tell Keith the truth. Jules got spooked, of course, because she knows Keith's history with Karen, and she ran," Logan said.
"Karen was just trying to look out for him," Roman said.
"I know, so were me and Luke. I mean, we thought about all the options. Obviously, Keith should've known her intentions entering into it, but at the same time, if she really did love him, maybe she would've told him the truth eventually," Logan said.
"What's done is done, Lo. We just have to hope that Keith will be okay," Roman said and Logan sighed.
"He asked Lucas for his keys and then he left... We don't know where he is and he's not answering his phone," Logan said. Roman was rubbing her arm and he kissed her forehead.
"He's going to be okay, Keith is strong... What did you say to Karen?" Roman asked.
"Basically, she had no right to destroy Keith's happiness after knowing he's been in love with her for years, leading him on, rejecting him when he proposed, and now she's in a relationship," Logan said sheepishly.
"Damn, my girl is harsh," Roman said and Logan frowned.
"I don't feel good about it. I was just so angry," Logan said and Roman nodded.
"I know... Karen will forgive you. Come on, let me take you home, and let's get away from all this stress. Have you eaten today?" He asked.
"I did... and I didn't throw it back up, but when we get back, I just want a snack. My mind is screaming at me to stress eat and I know if I do that, I'm gonna purge. Will you monitor me, please?" Logan whispered. She felt embarrassed to ask, but she knew she couldn't binge and purge with Roman there. She'd been able to get away with it since Haley left because Nathan was so deep in his depression, that he was barely paying attention to anything or anyone.
She still felt horrible about it.
"Of course I will. Don't stress yourself out, Lo. I got you, I promise," Roman said as he leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to her lips.
"Then take me home, Roman Castillo."
