Dear Lucas,
The last time I went to the doctor, I found out that I had a slightly irregular heartbeat. They said it wasn't anything to be too concerned about, but they would keep a monitor on it. My doctor told me she doesn't want me to be on heart medication so young, so she'll try to hold off on it for as long as she can. Honestly, I don't feel any different. I still breathe, and it doesn't feel any different than it has before. So I'm just hoping things will be okay. Nathan's fine, so you should be too, right? Maybe it's just me that's the odd one out.

Logan and Nathan Scott went down to the River Court. Logan told Nathan about Keith coming to the hospital, so she knew Lucas was back and the siblings figured they would find their brother at the River Court and they were right. Lucas was doing what Logan often did when she was here alone. Lying at center court, eyes closed, basking in the sun. But Lucas had his headphones on.

Logan and Nathan both squat behind him, blocking the sun from him, which made Lucas open his eyes and see his siblings above him... upside down. "Three questions. You ready?" Nathan asked. Lucas took out his headphones.

"Was that your first one?" Lucas asked and Logan laughed.

"Number one; what happened to your hair?" Logan asked and Nathan nodded. Lucas laughed as she sat up from the ground and turned to face his siblings.

"I left it in Charleston. You and Roman still together?" He asked and Logan nodded. Lucas turned to Nathan. "You and Haley still married?" He asked and Nathan nodded.

"Yeah, she hasn't thrown me out yet. Number two; why'd you come back?" Nathan asked. Lucas shrugged.

"It was the right thing to do. Which actually brings me to my number two; How's ou... your... How's Dan doing?" Lucas asked. He couldn't bring himself to refer to Dan as their father.

"Oh, he's alright. He's still alive, probably freaking out about me and Haley, like our Mom is," Nathan said.

"Hmm," Lucas said.

"Alright, last question. You regret all that 'you're my brother' stuff now that you're back?" Nathan asked and Logan laughed while Lucas shook his head no.

"Absolutely. You?" Lucas teased.

"Definitely," Nathan said. The siblings laughed as they all stood up and started to walk off the court together.

"I can totally see your family tripping out. I mean, I freaked out and I'm not even related to Haley," Lucas said and Logan laughed.

"I freaked out a little, but... the favorite sibling still got an invite to the wedding," Logan said as she smiled.

"To be fair, he left," Nathan said and Logan laughed. "And actually... you are related to Haley now."

Dan Scott woke up that same night Logan had come to visit.

Logan came back to the hospital the next day and brought some food from Karen's Cafe because she knows hospital food sucks. Deb had told her daughter that Dan has been a lot nicer since he woke up, which the doctor said can be normal for someone once they have a near-death experience. "Hi. I brought you some food. We all know hospital food sucks," Logan said as she walked inside of the room. Dan smiled at his daughter.

"I appreciate it, Logan. But you didn't have to," He said. Logan shrugged her shoulders as she walked to his bedside and handed him the bag of food. Since he did just have a heart attack, it wasn't anything greasy or unhealthy.

"Dad... I'm sorry that I told you I hated you. But I'm glad you didn't die because I would've felt guilty about those being my last words and not being able to apologize for them," She said. Dan shook his head.

"Logan...-" She cut him off.

"...-No, it wasn't okay. I know you made a lot of horrible decisions, and I don't agree with any of them. But you asked me to imagine how you might have been feeling at the time of everything, and I did... I could imagine it. It doesn't make what you did okay, but it makes me understand the decisions. It happened, it's over. We can't change the past, but I'm hoping for a better future," Logan said.

"I'm sorry too, Logan. What I did in the past, I know it wasn't right. You have every right to get to know Karen as your mother if that's what you want to do. I'm sorry that I took that choice from you," Dan said. Logan was surprised because she could tell her father meant his apology, and he normally never apologized for anything.

"Thank you, Dad," Logan said as she leaned forward and kissed his cheek.

"Shouldn't you be getting to school?" He asked and Logan nodded.

"Yeah, I came here with Mom, and she'll probably want to stay. I'll call Roman," Logan said as she stood up from the chair and she was about to leave the room.

"You and Roman? He's a good kid, Logan. I'm glad you've found someone that makes you happy. You deserve that after everything your mother and I have put you through," Dan said and Logan smiled.

"Thanks, Dad... keep resting so you'll get better, okay?" She said. Dan nodded and Logan walked out of the door and dialed Roman's number.

"Hey, baby. What's up?" Roman answered after one ring and Logan smiled.

"Hey, I came to the hospital with my Mom, and I know she's going to stay, I was wondering if you could pick me up," Logan said.

"Yeah, of course. I'll be there in like 10 minutes, okay?" He said.

"Thanks, babe," Logan said and they hung up their call.

Logan walked outside of the hospital and sat down on a bench as she waited for her boyfriend. After a few moments of soaking up the sun, the warmth went away. When she opened her eyes, she saw Keith standing in front of her.

"Hi, Uncle Keith," She said. He smiled at her and sat down next to her. "Back to see Dad again?" She asked.

"Well, wouldn't you if either of your brothers had a heart attack?" Keith asked. Logan nodded as she understood his point. She was hoping since Dan was acting like a decent human being, maybe he and Keith could make up.

"Of course, I would," Logan said.

"Shouldn't you be getting to school?" Keith asked as he looked at his watch. Logan rolled her eyes and nodded.

"Yes, I'm just waiting for Roman to come get me. I came here with Mom and I know she's going to stay, so I called him," Logan said.

"Roman. You guys together yet?" Keith asked and Logan rolled her eyes again.

"Was everyone anticipating this relationship?" Logan asked and Keith laughed.

"Everyone but you," Keith said. Logan playfully hit Keith's arm while they laughed. Then she saw Roman's car pull up.

"And there he is. I'll see you later," Logan said. She leaned over and kissed his cheek before standing up from the bench.

"Have a good day at school, Lo," He said.

"I won't," Logan responded and they laughed. Logan got into Roman's car and once inside, she leaned over, kissed her boyfriend, and then buckled her seatbelt.

"How is he?" Roman asked.

"Well... he's alive. That's what matters, right?" Logan said. Roman nodded as he grabbed her hand while pulling out of the hospital parking lot and toward their school.

Logan exhaled a deep breath.

"Oh, look. It's our very own Britney Spears and whoever she married this week." Brooke Davis said as Haley, Lucas, Nathan, Logan, and Roman approached her and Peyton in the parking lot. Then Brooke turned to Logan. "Lo, let me see that hand," She said and Logan laughed.

"Trust me, Brookie. Roman and I are not married," She said and Roman nodded in agreement.

"I have a question for you guys. What do you think? Pink booties or blue?" Brooke asked and Logan shook her head. It didn't surprise her that Brooke was assuming Haley was pregnant.

"Booties?" Haley asked. She looked confused for a moment before putting the pieces together. "Brooke, I'm not pregnant," Haley said.

"No? The only way this isn't totally screwed up is if you're knocked up. Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me," Brooke said. Haley rolled her eyes and then Tim came barreling into the circle on the hood of Brooke's car.

"What's this lame-ass joke about you guys getting married?" Tim asked as he looked at Nathan and Haley. Everyone laughed.

"He's in shock that you're officially off the market," Logan teased and everyone laughed again.

"It's true, Tim. Haley's preggers," Brooke said.

"Brooke!" Haley protested.

"Right, and Lucas moved away," Tim said as he laughed. Everyone else was exchanging knowing looks because Lucas did move away. Albeit it didn't last a full 48 hours, but he did leave. "You guys gotta do better if you're going to get one over on the Tim," He said while laughing. Brooke and Peyton pushed him away and Haley shook her head.

"The Tim."

Peyton and Brooke roped Logan into helping them set up the party that Lucas wanted to throw to celebrate Nathan and Haley, which she was totally on board for. Logan was excited to meet Haley's parents and give them grief about allowing her to marry Nathan of all people.

Multi-colored curtains were hanging up around the hall, and they had string lights hanging as well. There was also a stage, with lights around it, and a bench in the middle of it. Behind the bench were three pictures Peyton and Logan drew. On the left side was a drawing of Nathan, which Logan did. On the right side was a drawing of Haley, which Peyton did. The middle was half of Nathan's face with half of Haley's face.

"Peyton, Lo. This looks great," Lucas said as he approached them. They were currently working on a blackboard. They decorated it with silver and gold pen that read 'bride and groom' and they made blow-up heads from pictures of Nathan and Haley when they were younger.

"Thanks," Peyton and Logan responded. Then Brooke returned to the hall and she approached the three of them.

"Okay, for future reference; having a convertible filled with inflated rubber is not smart," Brooke said and Logan laughed.

"Brookie, I could've told you that," Logan said. Brooke scowled which made her laugh. Lucas laughed when he saw what Brooke was holding.

"Helium condoms?" He asked.

"What? If she's pregnant, it's a reminder. If she's not, it's a reminder," Brooke said as she started fake coughing. "Lo... it's cute," She said as she cleared her throat.

"Brooke, I'm not pregnant, and I won't be getting pregnant. Roman and I haven't even...-" Lucas cut her off before she could finish that sentence.

"Okay, I don't need to hear what my sister does or doesn't do with her boyfriend, please," Lucas said which made her laugh.

"Hey, Mouth. How's your bod?" Logan asked as she turned to him.

"Skinny," He responded which made all of them laugh, and then he turned to Brooke. "You know Skills and Fergie, right?" He asked.

"Of course I do," Brooke said as she smiled at them, and then Logan tuned out the conversation and went back to working on the Blackboard. Logan was excited about this party. Given everything that she and Nathan have been going through, he deserved this party and she needed it as a distraction.

"And last but not least; we have five minutes in the elevator," When Logan tuned back into the conversation, that's what she heard Brooke say, so she turned around to find out what that was.

"Isn't it five minutes in the closet?" Lucas asked.

"That's called 7 minutes in Heaven," Logan said.

"Yeah, and it's for junior high. The great part about this is; you know how everyone has their elevator list?" Brooke asked. Lucas and all of his friends looked confused.

"What?" Skills asked.

"Your elevator list! Come on! The list of people that you're allowed to have sex with if you're ever stuck in an elevator with them," Brooke said. Now that the guys were following, everyone started to name people.

"Halle Berry," Skills said.

"Beyonce," Fergie said.

"Jack Black," Peyton said.

"Alexander Skarsgård," Logan immediately added.

"Brooke Davis," Mouth said and everyone laughed.

"Well! Everybody makes a list and if two people have each other's name... five minutes in the elevator," Brooke said and everyone started nodding in agreement. The way Logan saw it was, if it wasn't Roman or Alexander Skarsgard, she wasn't interested.

"Sounds like fun, Brooke. Nice work!" Lucas said. That's when Logan noticed that Mouth was in the middle of their circle strapped to a chair. She deduced that Brooke probably introduced them to her version of Spin the Bottle.

"Thank you! Now all we need is a Nathan and a Haley," She said.

Brooke spun Mouth in the chair, and as he went around, he pointed to everyone about whom he would kiss. "No," He said as he pointed at Skills. "Yes," He said as he pointed at Brooke. "No," He said as he pointed at Lucas. "Yes," He said as he pointed at Logan. "And yes," He said as he pointed at Peyton, and everyone started laughing.

Logan couldn't wait for tonight.

Brooke and Logan were getting ready for the party at Peyton's house. Logan was already dressed and she was doing her hair, Brooke was sneaking in the bathroom to take a picture of Peyton for the lust factor website she signed her up for, and Peyton was in the shower. "Hey, Brooke, Lo... what are you guys wearing tonight? I mean, it's more of a party than a reception right?" Peyton called out.

"Hey, is Peyton around?" Haley James asked when she walked in and then she took note of Logan's outside. "Wow, Lo... you're going to show me up at my own party," Haley said. Logan rolled her eyes but she was smiling.

"Oh, stop. You're going to look amazing. Peyton will be out in a minute, she's in the shower," Logan said. Haley nodded before walking over to the computer where Brooke was uploading the picture of Peyton she had just taken.

"Oh my gosh, where'd you get that picture of her?" Haley asked.

"You have to love modern technology. It's for a little project that I'm doing, to help her expand her horizons," Brooke said.

"By posting nude pictures of her on the internet?" Haley asked. When Logan walked over and saw the pictures, she looked at Brooke.

"Brooke... that's technically distributing child porn because we're minors and that's not going to attract the kind of attention Peyton wants. Don't upload those," Logan said.

"Don't worry, she's going to thank me when she sees the guys that are lining up," Brooke said. Logan rolled her eyes as she went back to where she was sitting, in front of Peyton's full-length mirror, and continued doing her hair.

"Oh, he's cute. Oh, really cute. Oh... that's what I'm talking about," Haley said.

"Down girl. You can look at the menu all you want, but from now on, you eat at home."

"That skirt should be illegal," Roman Castillo said when he found his girlfriend at the party. She came with the girls and he came on his own, but he figured since she rode with Peyton, he would be taking her home. Logan turned around and smiled at her boyfriend. He had on a button-up shirt and black pants.

"Oh really, and why is that?" Logan asked as Roman pulled her into his arms.

"Because it should be illegal to look as good as you do right now," He said as he leaned down to kiss her. Logan smiled as she kissed him back and when they pulled away, she playfully shoved his chest.

"Idiot," She said and Roman laughed.

"All a part of my charm," He said as he gave her another kiss, but this kiss was longer than the first one. Logan loved the feeling of kissing him. Every kiss felt like the first one and she hoped it would always feel like that.

"If we keep doing this, everyone's going to think we're the married ones," Logan said once they pulled away. Roman laughed as he kissed her forehead.

"Maybe that wouldn't be too bad," Roman said. Logan raised an eyebrow and was about to respond, but then Brooke walked onto the stage.

"They're here! They're here!" Brooke exclaimed. Everyone got the silly string ready and sprayed it when Nathan and Haley came walking in. Once they were through the crowd, that's when Logan approached them.

"Hales! Nate!" She exclaimed. Haley turned around and smiled when she saw it was Logan and the blonde threw her arms around her friend and hugged her close. "Welcome to the family, sister-in-law," She said.

"Thank you... this party looks amazing," Haley said as she looked around to take everything in. Logan smiled as she pointed over to Brooke and Peyton.

"Thank the two of them. I just helped," Logan said. Haley smiled and walked away to thank them. When she left, Logan turned to see Roman hugging Nathan.

"Congrats, man. But I never thought you'd be tied down at 17," Roman said and Nathan laughed.

"Trust me, neither did I. But with Haley... I know it was the right decision,"  He said and Logan smiled. She could admire that her brother found the right person he was meant to be with.

"Don't worry, I'm not bitter that I didn't get to be the best man or anything," Roman teased and Nathan laughed.

"Yeah, I know, I'm sorry about that," Nathan said and Roman shook his head.

"Nah, man. You know I'm happy for you. I guess it just took the right girls to straighten out some assholes like us, huh?" Roman said. Nathan laughed as they did their handshake and then he nodded.

"Yeah, it did. Enjoy the party guys," Nathan said. He started to walk away, but then Logan grabbed his arm and shook her head.

"I'm coming with you. I wanna meet Haley's parents," Logan said. Nathan smiled because his sister was making more of an effort than their Mom was. Logan turned to her boyfriend. "I'll find you after," She said. Roman nodded and kissed her cheek before the siblings walked away.

"You're making more of an effort than Mom is," Nathan said. Logan softly smiled as she squeezed his arm.

"I'm not defending her behavior, but imagine, you're in the process of getting divorced and then your wife has a heart attack, you don't know if she'll live or die, and then your 17-year-old kid tells you that they got married. It's a lot to take on at once and Mom probably still needs some time to wrap her head around it," Logan said and Nathan nodded. Hearing Logan say it like that gave him a bit of perspective.

"I know... I know. You always know the right thing to say. Come on."

"There you guys are!" Haley said when she saw Nathan and Logan approaching. She was happy that Logan was going to be able to meet her parents, especially since Deb had been acting less than pleasant. "Mom, Dad, this is Logan. Nathan and Luke's sister," Haley introduced.

"It's really great to meet the two of you," Logan said as she shook their hands.

"You too, Logan. Haley told me the two of you got off to a rough start," Lydia James said. Haley and Logan looked at each other and laughed.

"Just a little bit. But then I saw how much she changed this asshole over here and knew she had to be someone worth getting to know," Logan said, making all of them laugh.

"I like her," Jim said and Logan smiled.

"Most people do," Nathan said.

"I noticed your Mom was here. Do you think she'll come talk to us?" Lydia asked.

"Mom came?" Logan asked.

"I guess she's trying to make an effort," Nathan said. Logan looked at Haley's parents.

"Well, if she doesn't make the effort, then I will. I practically raised him anyway," Logan teased. Haley, Nathan, Lydia, and Jim all laughed. "It was nice meeting you guys. Hales, Nate, I'll catch up with you guys later," Logan said as she gave her brother and friend a hug and then walked away to find her boyfriend.

But Peyton found her first.

"Hey, blondie. You having fun?" Peyton asked and Logan nodded.

"Yeah, I'm happy for Nathan. It's a good party. He needs a good distraction from all the craziness that's been happening with our parents and everything we found out," Logan said.

"What about a distraction for you?" Peyton asked.

"Our day on the boat did that for me. I haven't binged or purged since," Logan said and Peyton smiled.

"I'm really proud of you, Lo. I know you love taking care of other people, but while you're doing that... who's taking care of you?" She asked. Logan frowned a little, she knew her friend was right. She hadn't binged or purged since the day on the boat, but she had a feeling that was only going to be temporary.

"Me," Logan and Peyton looked over to see Lucas had answered the question and he approached them. "You know I'll always take care of you, little sister," He said and Logan shook her head.

"You don't have to pretend. Peyton knows... only Brooke doesn't," Logan said and she felt bad that Brooke would be the last one to find out, but she broke down about relapsing to Peyton when Peyton and Brooke were still on the outs.

"Can I steal her for a minute?" Lucas asked as he pointed to Peyton. Logan nodded.

"Oh course, go ahead."

"Ahh, I guess it's no surprise that some would criticize us; call us unfit parents," Lydia and Jim were now giving a speech for Nathan and Haley. Jim was the one who spoke.

"And normally, they'd be right," Lydia said and everyone laughed.

"And for those who say they're too young, let me just say. Hell, you can drive at sixteen, go to war at eighteen, you can drink at twenty-one, and retire at sixty-five. So, how old do you have to be before your love is real?" Jim said. Logan smiled a bit because he was right.

Could you really put an age on love?

"So, here's to you, Haley Bob... and Nathan, she's your headache now," Lydia said and everyone laughed again as they raised their glasses. Lucas found his sister in the crowd and laid his hand on her back.

"Sibling toast with me?" He asked and Logan nodded as she grabbed another glass.

"Of course!" She said as she followed Lucas onto the stage and she winked at Nathan.

"I think everybody knows that Nathan and I got off to a pretty sketchy start. Nathan; mutual hatred sounds about right?" Lucas asked.

"Worse!" Nathan said, which made everyone laugh.

"For years, the only thing that I wanted was to be able to be with both of my brothers and have them get along, and then it finally happened. Not because of me, but because of Haley. She did in months what I couldn't do for years, and now I'm glad that I get to call her my sister too," Logan said. Haley was smiling and her eyes watered at Logan's last sentence.

"Haley showed me that you can find the good in everybody if you just give them a chance. The benefit of the doubt. Sometimes, people disappoint you. Sometimes, they surprise you. But you never really get to know them until you listen for what's in their hearts and that's what Haley did with Nathan. That's what we should do for them. So, for all you skeptics out there, prepare to be surprised," Lucas said.

"To our brother... and sister-in-law," Logan said as she held up her glass.

"And in love," Lucas finished.

"Cheers!" Everyone said together as they drank from their glasses. When Lucas and Logan left the stage, Roman grabbed her hand and pulled her aside to pull her into a kiss. Logan's hands went to his torso as they rested there while Roman gently cupped her neck. When he pulled away, Logan could already feel her face getting hot.

"What's up?" She asked.

"Hearing Lucas' words made me realize that's what you did with me," Roman said.

"What do you mean?" Logan asked.

"You've known and disliked me for years, but then you actually took a chance on me, listened for what was really in my heart, and here we are," Roman said and Logan smiled.

"I guess trying to act like I hated you just got too hard," Logan teased as she shrugged her shoulders. Roman wrapped his arms around her as the music started, and Logan laid her head on his chest as he swayed them from side to side.

"Ah, you never hated me, just strong dislike," He said and Logan laughed.

"You're right. You were just a constant, annoying, Nathan sidekick, pain in my ass," Logan said. Roman laughed before gently tickling her side, which made her lift her head and glare at him. "You know I hate that," She said and he laughed.

"I know, that's what you get for calling me Nathan's sidekick," He said. Logan smiled as she laid her head back down on her chest and Roman started to sway them to the music again.

"I'm glad you're my boyfriend, Ro," Logan whispered. Roman smiled as he leaned down and kissed the top of her head.

"I'm glad I'm your boyfriend too, Lo," Roman whispered back to her. Logan lifted her head and looked up at him as they continued to sway to the music. With a smile on her face, Logan leaned up, while Roman leaned down.

And their lips met.
