I am an ocean, deep and mysterious

My past holds many secrets not given up easily

While my surface is spotless and seen very clearly

I am the sky on a not so clear day

My mistakes are the clouds growing overwhelmingly large

Until the rain falls and the clouds go away, then I can take charge

I am the shadow of the moon at night

My traits are often overlooked and undermined

While the people around me, like stars, they shine

I am the moth among a cluster of butterflies

My purpose in life and the stories I tell

Are much more important than the outermost shell

I am a girl who has seen the storms

I've walked through the nights filled with dust and decay

I've fought the monsters and kept them at bay

I am girl with a snowy white soul

Who protects and defends her values and thoughts

Who has seen too much for her age, and been through a lot

I am girl with resilience and strength

Even though the world decided to challenge me severely

I refuse to crumble, I will face them all cheerfully
