Mind control
Night was alive, beating excessively in its silence.
Hitoshi Shinso was currently padlocking an old shed very rarely used by the academy, fumbling with the rusting metal.
He had been required to set away a variety of broken down tech development equipment, nothing more.
Mei Hatsume was the only inventory at work during these hours, meaning there was no harm in him running a brief errand for her.
And here he was, carrying the last batch of scraps at Midnight and locking it away safely.
However, with as much doubt he gave he could still sense that he was not entirely alone within this desiccated portion of UA.
Sweat bled from his forehead as well as his subconscious piecing together several alternative routes in which he could take if someone was to strike a threat to him.
Of course it could have been his classmates fooling or teasing with him, but a man like him wouldn't even submit to their standards.
UA is a test, just like any other.
Always needing to be on guard... especially after the recent break in concerning class 1-A.
He rolled his eyes at the thought of that class, becoming infuriated before ripping the padlock away and checking whether the key was fitting appropriately.
And they watched within their peace, stalking as if wild cats plotting their caged birds demise.
Their breathes were light and very slow...
With a single strike the artificial light had been struck down, raining a slide of glass down to the floor nearby to Hitoshi.
He gave no recognisable reaction as there was still, a dim, light nearby.
"...if you intend to intimidate me you are very immature" was all he stated, glaring past his shoulder into the darkness in which now surrounded him.
Nothing replied, not even a whisper.
A shadow glared down from the sheds rooftop, watching Hitoshi's oblivious actions with staring voltage.
They licked their lips.
"Show yourself" Shinso demanded, watching a set of dim eyes peeking from a tree that he could now officially see only for adjust to the darkness.
As he turned his attention towards them the crouched shadow upon the roof casted another more volatile creation just by Shinso's feet.
"Why do you stalk me?" He questioned with a sinister glare.
Nothing replied.
"...You know of my quirk, that is why you stay silent isn't it?" He added.
While speaking the blackness on the floor deepened, bleaching taller and becoming unnaturally jagged.
By time it reached its full height, there was no reason for Shinso not to notice.
And in fact he did.
His eyes glanced -only for a second- to the floor, notifying himself at the new presence.
"Why are you here?" Hitoshi scowled.
"..." They giggled "for you, Shinso"
At the reply Shinso took his chance and attempted to obtain control of the aggressor, only to be pounced on from behind and pinned to the ground uncomfortably.
A claw held his head down and an unbelievable amount of weight almost crushed him.
"G-Gh!" As powerful as his quirk was it hadn't had enough time to seize it's victim and resulted in failure.
"Unhand me!" He demanded, not getting a proper view of the attacker and only being startled at an igniting blue flame.
"Oh shut the hell up" was all that followed, Dabi, a pale skinned lanky looking male emerging from the trees as well as Uranaka.
She giggled and trotted over.
Hitoshi remainded silent, watching closely while trying to way up the situation.
"What was she doing here?!" He thought
"You must be scared" she smiled
Hitoshi was about to question her before having his head squozen by the creature.
He yelped loudly and held in his pain.
"Just neutralise him already" Dabi stated ", security will no doubt be on their way"
"Urgh, you can't have any fun!" She groaned, pulling a needle out from her jacket.
At the sight of it Hitoshi scowled and began struggling, too weak to prevent his left arm from being layed out and pinned against the pavement.
"Unhand me!" He began getting frantic as she got closer with it. He snarled "I SAID UNHAND ME!"
As he broke his arm free all that dug into his elbow were sharp jagged spikes, the severe point penetrating the skin and blazer before almost instantly breaking the joint within his arm.
He screamed loudly, not exactly expecting that turn of events.
Never the less he didn't stop moving, squirming, struggling.
Once the vile was injected he calmed down, taking the arm gently tucked away into his gut before the creature lifted him into his arms.
Shinso barely managed to grip his broken arm, the drugs taking effect to minimise his movement to mere shivers.
Trembling his eyes averted up naturally as he was lifted in a cradled position.
"Are you seriously cradling him?" Dabi questioned
The creature gave no reaction, too occupied by Shinso.
"Urgh, I miss the mean you"
Shinso grunted, obviously attempting to move, his tired eyes begining to hang weak.
The creature almost felt sorry for him, a sorrowful stare being all he could offer as support.
As their eyes made contact his trembling jolted into a gasp, eyes widening in shocking realisation.
Before anything could go forward the animal was alarmed by sudden vibrations within the ground, glancing up to just about manage dodging a flying bullet.
"Time to go!" Dabi sighed, Mist opening up a tall enough portal to engulf them all.
"N-ng" Shinso grunted, getting fazed and woozy.
It wouldn't be a surprise if he didn't know where he was...and considering where he's going, it's unlikely he ever will from now on.
