"This is just great! Duke's obviously gone to Brooklyn again! Now Gidget has been gone all day!" Max cried as he paced around his apartment. He was worried for both his brother and his girlfriend. But he was also irritated with Duke. The moment the very strange meeting they held in the morning finished up, the giant mutt passed up on the offer to visit the sick Chloe and instantly left for Brooklyn.

From where he was laying on his back on the windowsill, Snowball threw his paws up in the air in an exasperated manner as he grumbled, "Dude, can you chill for five minutes?! I'm about as mad as you with Fat Dog but I at least don't go around throwing a fit about it!"

"Hey guys, what's up?" Duke's voice sounded outside the window. Max whirled around while Snowball fell off the windowsill with a cry. Gripping his lower back as he grimaced in pain, he remarked quietly, "I can see why you guys hate it when I pop up out of nowhere..."

"Snowball, Katie is going to be home soon and your owner as well. Why are you here?" Duke asked.

"Funny you should be asking that, telling on how you sneak off everyday," Max grumbled. When Duke opened his mouth to speak, the terrier turned his back towards his brother and growled, "I don't want to hear it Duke." Watching the smaller dog head off towards his bed, Duke looked down at Snowball and mumbled, "What the heck was that about?"

Jaw dropping, Snowball cried, "Seriously Fat Dog?!"
