*Third person POV* (this part isn't in the book or amy's journal btw, this is just what happens)

It was second period, English class. The students were all sitting around awkwardly smiling and nodding around acknowledging each other's presence. At one point, after about 20 minutes into the class, Amy noticed someone's hand sticking up. It's that girl again... she thought. The teacher turned around and called on her.

"Yes, miss?"

"May I please go to the bathroom?" She said in her silky smooth voice. Amy felt like she recognised that voice from somewhere, but she didn't know where...

"Of course you may, miss! Just bring someone with you."

"Thank you, miss."

Amy looked away and didn't expect anything until she felt a presence next to her. The girl nodded at her, signalling her to come with her. Amy was slightly surprised, as no one ever payed attention to her or asked to do anything with her. She was always the one left over when the teacher told them to "partner up". Nonetheless, she smiled up at the girl and followed her.
