A U T H O R ' S  P. O. V

Two weeks have passed and Lalisa was delighted that her wish of having a normal life was starting to come true, with the bonus of her friendship with Chaeyoung and Taehyung growing stronger everyday, they go to classes together, hang out in between and after classes, and eat with each other, they were basically inseparable.

"It's a good day, come along friends."

Both Chaeyoung and Lalisa let Taehyung have a head start as he appeared to be too exited, they couldn't help but notice the unusual spring on his step.

"Is he this happy when a teacher is absent?" Lalisa whispered to Chaeyoung.

"Yeah, but I mean, who wouldn't be happy to skip two hours of nonstop physics? And then go home immediately?" Chaeyoung laughed.

"So what are we gonna do? Before we go home at least." Taehyung faced them while still walking, the only difference is that now he's walking backwards. The two girls couldn't help but worry so Chaeyoung forced him to face forward before pointing to a nearby bench underneath a tree on a wide grassy patch.

"That place is perfect."

There was a marbled table surrounding the tree so Taehyung decided it was where he would sit instead, while Chaeyoung and Lalisa took a seat on the bench facing Taehyung. The area was a bit empty, there wasn't a single person around except them as most of the other students were on the field a few meters away from them, they were left alone with nature in that spot so they took it as an opportunity to have a small talk before going on their separate ways.

A midst their lively chat, Lalisa's phone rang, snatching their attention. She glanced down at the device and found the name 'bammie' flashing on the screen. She excused herself for a few seconds before answering the call.

"Bam? What's up?"

"We're in the same class right? And the teacher's absent, so I was just wondering where you are now."

"Aw, that's sweet of you, Bam." Lalisa chuckled. "Don't worry, I'm with my friends, we're just hanging out here to kill the remaining minutes near the field."

"Yeah, I can see that you've been hanging out with them lately ever since the first time I saw you together at the cafeteria a few weeks ago."

"Mhm, and by the way, speaking of the cafeteria, I was reminded of that incident and I still couldn't believe you weren't joking, legitimately until now." She teased.

"Well, the joke's on you," Bambam mocked on the other line. "Anyways, I shouldn't be interrupting your little get-to-know-each-other-more session, let's just meet in a bit so that we could head home together."

"In secret."

"In secret, yeah, I know."

"Thanks, Bam, I'll call you again la–"

"Just leave dude, we didn't even do anything."

Upon hearing an annoyingly familiar voice, Lalisa's head snapped back towards her friends to find Chaeyoung hiding behind an angry looking Taehyung.

"Lali?. . .Lisa are you still there?. . .Lalisa?"

Lalisa hung up immediately and approached her friends, not bothered even in the tiniest bit by the three towering men looking at them.

It was Jongin, again, accompanied by Sehun and Chanyeol.

"You dare talk back at us huh?" Jongin pretended to throw the ball he was holding at Taehyung, he and his friends then cackled in satisfaction when they saw Taehyung flinching a little bit.

"Look, your stupid ball, hit my friend in the head." Taehyung tried to control his temper and glanced at Chaeyoung. "A simple sorry wouldn't hurt."

Normally, he wouldn't fight back, but maybe it was because he's been fed up enough by his shenanigans, or maybe it was the fact that Chaeyoung, his best friend was the one who was hit. They can mess with him all day long, just not with his friends.

"Tae? What's going on here?" Lalisa asked as she glared at the cause of the predicament. She– or they rather– were just trying to achieve a peaceful life but that doesn't mean they wouldn't stand for each other, and so here they are now.

Jongin didn't even glance at her and just ignored the newcomer as he was too busy smirking at Taehyung.

"Why? Who is she that we have to waste our saliva saying sorry to her." He scoffed.

"Who? Huh? Who?" Jongin slapped Taehyung's cheeks lightly in a manner of teasing. "Are you deaf? Answer me."

Taehyung have had enough but luckily, Chaeyoung and Lalisa grabbed him by the arms before he had the chance to pounce on Jongin.

"Woah, chill there." Jongin laughed as Taehyung tried to wriggle out of his friends' grip.

"Just leave us alone." Lalisa seethed.

All of their attention diverted on her, after boldly telling them to back off, two pairs of eyes looked at her with worry, while three were looking at her with amusement.

"Careful, Jongin she looks like she's a feisty one." Chanyeol and his friends laughed, but the thai girl wasn't having it.

"It seems that you're the deaf one here," Lalisa smirked. "I said, leave us alone."

Chaeyoung and Taehyung blinked, they didn't see any trace of fear in her face and voice, the two of them never saw this side of Lalisa before, and hell do they admit that she was scary.

"What did you say?" Jongin's right eye twitched.

"You really are deaf, huh? If your miniscule brain still couldn't process what I said, then I'll say it in your language," Lalisa faced them with no emotions whatsoever in her face.

"Fuck off."

Even though Lalisa wasn't afraid of them, Taehyung knew that she would be nothing against the three of them, so when he saw Jongin and his friends approaching Lalisa, he immediately stepped forward and pushed Jongin lightly.

"You heard her, fuck off."

Jongin chuckled before his eyes darkened, out of anger he took quick steps towards Taehyung and swung a punch right across his jaw.

"Taehyung!" Chaeyoung exclaimed.

Before he had the chance to react, Jongin motioned Chanyeol and Sehun to grab a hold of him.

At this point, it was clear that it wasn't a fair fight as Taehyung was being beaten up, both Lalisa and Chaeyoung tried to push them off of Taehyung but they pushed them too in return. Lalisa glanced around to find help and was shocked that there was already a crowd watching them like it was some kind of show.

To say that she was disgusted was an understatement. So maybe it was the anger that fueled her to finally push Jongin off and punch him in the face without warning.

"I guess those training sessions did pay off." She glanced at her bruised knuckles.

The impact sent Jongin falling to the ground, while Sehun and Chanyeol stood there frozen in shock. When Jongin realized that other students witnessed a mere girl punching him square in the face, he was utterly embarrassed.

"We're not done here." He stood up and glared at Lalisa, Taehyung, and Chaeyoung before stomping off somewhere on the campus.

When Jongin, Chanyeol, and Sehun finally vanished from their sights, Chaeyoung ran towards Taehyung and helped him get up.

"What are you all still looking at? Show's over!" Chaeyoung glared at every student she could. Her voice seemed to have successfully snatch the students out of their shocked states, causing them to disperse until it was only the three of them left again.

"Are you okay, Tae?" Lalisa asked with worry laced in her voice.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Taehyung said in a hoarse voice. "This is nothing."

He clearly wasn't, judging by his bruised cheek, black eye, and bleeding nose, he was nowhere near fine.

"Nothing my foot! You're bleeding!" Chaeyoung smacked the latter's head which didn't help the situation at all.

Taehyung weakly chuckled. "And it's gonna get worse if you keep hitting me, Chae."

"Sorry."

"Lalisa?" Taehyung said instead as he raised his head to look at the girl.

"Hm? What is it, Tae?"

"Do you box? Because if you do, teach me how to give a good punch next time." Taehyung grinned, his lips stretching into a boxy shape.

Lalisa raised her hands to which Taehyung automatically responded to by covering his head. "This is no time for jokes, Tae, are you even aware of your situation right now?" Lalisa said in a scolding manner.

"You guys sound like my sister." Taehyung rolled his eyes.

But the atmosphere quickly changed when Taehyung's breathing started to become ragged, and it didn't help that his eyelids became heavier and heavier by the second.

"Hold on, Tae." The two girls started to panic. "We will bring you to the hospital—"

"You can't!" Taehyung stopped Lalisa.

"Why not? You're losing your consciousness, Taehyung." Lalisa's brows furrowed.

"It's a personal matter, please, we can't." He pleaded.

"Fine, what about your house?"

"It's worse than going to the hospital, my parents can't see me like this, o–or they'll scold me again."

"Chaeyoung talk some sense to him!" Lalisa looked at Chaeyoung.

"As much as I want to bring him there, I can't Lis, I know the reason why he can't go there in this state," Chaeyoung sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "We also can't bring him home since. . ."

"My parents know his parents so it's just the same result."

"Then where do we bring him?" Lalisa started to think, every second Taehyung is losing blood so she needed to think fast.

She thought of possible places where they could bring their beaten up friend, but when a solution finally crossed her mind, she hesitated, she glanced back at Taehyung and her heart clenched, they've only been friends for a few weeks but she's already starting to view them as her own brother and sister.

She knew she could trust them, and they were wasting too much time, so she made up her mind.

She fished her phone out of her pocket and made a call.

"Bam? We need your help."

It's another episode of "You're Author Cannot Sleep So She Decides To Write A Chapter"

Though this time I'm surprised with myself because I wrote two chapters in one go from 10PM to 5AM. I can't understand myself sometimes :p

So with that being said, don't expect too much from the chapters for it was written by a sleep deprived version of me.

Also, I read a comment where someone asked if there's gonna be liskook moments, well to answer that, yes because this is a LK fanfic after all, just be patient please, I'm not the best writer out there, I'm very sorry to disappoint.

Unedited, cuz I'm lazy to do so.

Luv y'all
