One fine Sunday afternoon, inside a cafè near the campus, a group of five girls were talking animatedly with each other, knowing that the school year is opening soon, they were taking all of the chances they have to talk to each other freely with no schoolwork to have to worry about.

"Hey guys, I heard- or saw rather, that Bam and Mina enrolled today." The youngest of them said.

"Okay. . .so?" Their second youngest asked with furrowed brows.

"I know we're friends and all, but why do you have to report this to us?" A girl with bear-like features retorted as she cut and ate a portion of the chocolate flavoured cake in front of her, hence adding more emphasis to her chubby cheeks.

"They brought a new face."

"Really?" Their brown-haired friend inquired in curiosity, finally looking up from the latest novel she bought recently.

"Of course, you're Kim Yerim, you never run out of information." The oldest among them sighed in disbelief, they don't know how, but somehow Yeri always finds a way to learn new gossips.

"I just happened to see them on the campus, Irene unnie, that's all." Yeri defended.

"Well you can't blame us, maknae, we just always wonder where you get your information from." The bear-like girl shrugged.

"Well, that's a secret Seulgi unnie." Yeri winked which caused her red-head unnie to act like she was puking. "Oh c'mon Joy unnie, we all know I'm cute, right Wendy unnie?"

Wendy being the kind-hearted unnie that she is, placed her book down on the table and just chuckled softly before nodding.

Bae Irene, Kang Seulgi, Son Wendy, Park Joy, and Kim Yeri.

Or as they were dubbed, Red Velvet.

These girls are friends with the thai jock and were pretty much known in Kyeongsoo High, Irene as the student council president, Seulgi being the girl's volleyball team captain, Wendy being the school's peace officer- with a heavenly voice as other students may add-, and Joy alongside Yeri being the infamous devil duo of the campus who are also part-time models.

Unlike some other famous cliques on the university, these girls were actually decent and approachable human beings- discard Joy and Yeri when their evil minds are plotting something cynical- and they are not fond of using their popularity in the sense of instilling fear in the students' hearts.

And their maknae, Kim Yeri just happened to catch a glimpse of the well-known jock, Bambam and her girlfriend Mina tagging along a girl inside the campus, which she took interest in as she was unfamiliar with her which was odd because she usually regognizes most of the students' face who attends the prestigious academy. But the thing that itched Yeri the most, is Bambam and the namless girl's uncanny resemblance.

"Who's L?" Seulgi asked.

"I don't know, I just heard Bambam call her that, and what's weird is that the girl doesen't look like she's korean, and I don't know if it's just me but they kinda look like each other?" Yeri scratched her head.

"We can just ask Bam or Mina when school starts, so chill." Irene suggested before sipping on her order, which earned affirmative nods from the others.

Yeri shrugged, "Was just curious."

"Lalisa Manoban, Lisa Manoban, Lisa Manoban."

The girl repeated her own temporary real name over and over again. Through the years, she was used to being call Pranpriya or simply Priya, but life can truly be unexpected sometimes considering the recent events that happened to her life.

Starting tomorrow, the world will know her as Lalisa Manoban.

Starting tomorrow she will finally be able to experience a life like what normal teenagers have. No more hiding, no more restrictions, she'll be free to do whatever she wants.

She smiles at that thought.

But she once again hopes that she won't attract that much attention for being the newbie, she just wants a peaceful life, considering that she risked a lot of things for it.

But who is she kidding, if her cousin really is famous there, then peaceful life no more.

She's inside her room, lying on her bed while staring at the ceiling. She and her cousin just got home from buying additional things that they need for school and now they're only resting because tomorrow would be their first day.

Lalisa just hopes to at least make a good first impression on the people there, then after that, she'll be contented with blending with the hundreds of nobodies roaming around inside the school. Her goal after all is to keep a low profile.

But little did she know that that would most likely be a little hard.

"L?"

Nothing.

"Lali?"

Still no response.

"Lisa. . ."

Bambam took a deep breath.

"LALISA MANOBAN!"

Bambam facepalmed when her cousin jolted up awake and fell on the other side of her bed. Just when she has the audacity to call him an idiot.

"WHERE'S THE FIRE?!"

When in fact, both of them are idiots. It must run in the blood.

"And you have the guts to call me the dumb one," Bambam shook his head in disbelief. "Wake up, sleepyhead."

"Ugh," Lalisa then crawled back to her bed lazily, Bambam can almost compare her to a human-sized snail in action, "Why? Just why?! Are you disturbing my peaceful slumber?"

Bambam grimaced and looked up at the Gods, mentally asking them why they really had the urge to give him an overdramatic cousin. Meanwhile, Lalisa thinks of the same thing as she witnesses her cousin exaggeratedly raising his hands up through her half opened eyelids.

After a few seconds, Bambam regained his composure, took a deep breath, and answered Lalisa's questioning eyes. "It's your first day, idiot."

When her cousin finally mentioned what was so important, Lalisa sprang up from the bed in realization and dashed towards the bathroom to start her daily routine.

The thai heir just chuckled as he went back downstairs.

This is gonna be one heck of a day.

Bambam thought.

I don't even know what I'm writing cuz it's almost 5AM here and I barely had a wink of sleep lol.

Red Velvet and other groups will be here too cuz if it's still not obvious then: I'm a multifandom trash.

Lisa's first day in the academy will be narrated in the next chap but I don't know when that'll be up but in the meantime, we're almost on 2k reads and thank you so much in advanced!
