"shut up, he's just coming down to say goodbye."

"goodbye equals a kiss," she laughs and puckers out her lips, "kissy kissy."

"you're fucking weird."

hearing a knock at the door, valerie quickly
stands up, "i'll go let felix in."

"okay," i say, "i'll just sit here then. i don't feel like getting up anyway."

"lazy ass," she mumbles loud enough for you to hear.

"yo, where is felix?" i hear valerie ask.

"what? can i not come in?"

"of course you can, hyunjin. but i thought felix was coming too."

"i'm right here!" felix loudly says.

"oh, okay, come in weirdos."

as soon as felix comes into view, a smile grows on my face, "hi!"

"hi baby," he says as he sits down beside me. sliding his arms around my waist, i lean my head against his shoulder.

"well, aren't you two cute," hyunjin smiles when he sees the two of us, "i would try that with valerie but she might bite my head off."

valerie walks around him and laughs, "i'm not that mean."

"you're evil."

"am not."

hyunjin rolls his eyes and sits down on the other bed. valerie sits down beside him, keeping her space.

"i don't understand you two," felix states, "you both know that you like each other, but it's almost like you're pushing each other away," he points at the distance between the two.

"i, uh," valerie stutters, "i'm not pushing him away," she looks down at his hand resting on the bed between them. quickly grabbing his hand and intertwining their fingers, she holds up their hands in the air, "see."

hyunjin fake gasps and moves his free hand over his mouth, "you finally held my hand. oh my god, i'm so honored."

valerie scoffs while letting go of his hand, "you ruined it."

"no, wait," he quickly grabs her hand again, "don't let go, please."

smiling at him, valerie slowly nods, "i won't. but only if you promise to stop being weird."

"so you can be weird, but i can't?"

she nods, "correct."

"you're an odd one."

"well you're the one that likes this odd person, so."

"guess i'm just attracted to odd things."

"i feel like i'm watching a drama right now," felix whispers. i hum in agreement. seeing my best friend being cute with hyunjin definitely made me soft, even if i didn't understand what was happening.

"valerie!" hyunjin turns, looking at her, "i have a question."

"yes," valerie quickly answers.

"but i didn't even ask yet," he tilts his head and laughs, "how do you know what i was going to ask?

"i don't care what the question is, the answer is yes."

"even if i was asking you to date me?"

valerie aggressively nods her head, causing everyone to laugh, "yup!"

"wow, that wasn't hard at all," he laughs once more.

"you guys are cute," i say with a huge smile, " my ship has surfaced."

hyunjin and valerie were out in the hallway saying their goodbyes, leaving felix and i in the room by ourselves. standing by the door, i turn and face felix.

"i don't want you to leave."

felix looks down at me, frowning, "i don't want to go."

softly hitting his chest, i frown, "don't frown, you'll make me sad."

he sighs as he moves a strand of hair out of my face, tucking it behind my ear, "i'll miss you so much."

"felix," i whine, "i'll miss you too, but we can still talk all the time."

"we can, but it won't be the same. i won't have you with me by my side."

pulling me into a hug, he sighs, "promise me that you'll message me everyday," with his right hand, he lifts my chin making me look at him, "message me everyday until we can meet again."

feeling myself blush with how close he was, i shyly nod, "i promise, felix."

"good," he looks down at my lips before quickly making eye contact once again, "there's just something i want to do before i leave, if that's okay?"

"it's okay," i barely let out. by now my heart was racing with nerves. i wanted this more than anything.

felix smiles before bringing his other hand to my face. he caresses my face gently before leaning down. feeling my lips brush against his, i quickly close the small gap between us.

after a few seconds, he pulls away from the kiss, "i've been wanting to do that since i first saw you." looking down at me, he pinches my cheeks, "your face is so red," he teases.

"hey, stop it. you're the reason my face is red."

he laughs as he quickly pecks my lips, "is that so?"

"stop," i laugh as i cover my face, "you're so mean."

"you're so cute, i love it."

hyunjin suddenly opens the door, barely missing the two of you "did i hit you with the door?" i shake my head no.

"okay, good. felix, we have to leave. they are putting our stuff in the van now."

"okay," felix answers, "just a second." hyunjin nods, and closes the door as he leaves.

"i have to leave now," felix whines, "i wish i could stay."

"i wish you could too, but i even have to go home sometime soon. promise me that you'll text me when you get back to korea."

"i promise, angel," felix opens the hotel door, "kiyia?"

"hm?"

"thank you."

"for what?"

"for showing me that i was able to find someone that likes me for me, and not because i'm an idol."

i smile, "you're an amazing person. there's so much more to you than your career. i should be the one to thank you though. you showed me who you really were, and i fell for that. i fell for you. i didn't fall for your career of being an idol, i fell for this dorky but adorable boy. i mean he's definitely weird, but i like that about him."

without much warning, he leans down and kisses me again, "i love you."

completely shocked at those words, i blush.

"wait, was that too early to say?" felix panics, "it's just that i really do an-"

"felix," i grab ahold of his shoulders trying to calm him down, "love doesn't have a certain time frame. if you love someone, you should say it," i smile widely, "i love you too."
