It was evening when Ji-hoon and Hana arrived home, the sky deepening into shades of indigo as the city began to shimmer with the glow of streetlights and neon signs. People filled the sidewalks, returning to their loved ones who waited at home .
As soon as they entered the mansion , they both were meet with loud shouting of someone .
What the hell? Why are they shouting like a bunch of madmen?"
It was who Ji-hoon exclaimed, irritation creeping into his voice as he surveyed the chaotic scene unfolding in his home.
"Hey, brother! What's up?"
Tae-ho called out from the sofa, where he lounged comfortably, seemingly unfazed by the commotion. He raised an eyebrow at the two familiar figures entering the living room, a playful grin spreading across his face.
Ji-hoon crossed his arms, his annoyance palpable. "What's going on here? I thought we were having a quiet evening."
"Oh, that? It's just Uncle breaking one of Aunt's expensive crockery sets," Tae-ho shrugged nonchalantly, a lazy smirk playing on his lips. "And hell broke loose on poor Uncle!"
Ji-hoon raised an eyebrow, trying to suppress a laugh despite the chaos. "Seriously? Is he okay?"
Tae-ho chuckled, leaning back into the sofa. "He's fine, but Aunt is on a warpath. You should have seen her face! It was like watching a drama unfold right in front of us."
Ji-hoon sighed, glancing at his cousin and sister, who were comfortably settled on the couch, binge-watching Netflix and munching on popcorn. Lucky bastards, he thought, feeling a mix of envy and amusement.
"You didn't even try to help silence them?" he asked, shaking his head at Tae-ho.
Tae-ho shrugged, a playful grin on his face. "You know Aunt-she's strict about her things. It's like trying to calm a storm with a whisper."
Ji-hoon shot a glance at Hana, who met his gaze with a knowing look. They shared a silent agreement, that they couldn't just let the chaos continue unchecked. With a determined nod, they stepped away from the living room and headed toward the source of the shouting.
As they approached, the scene that unfolded before them was both comical and disheartening. Their mother sat in a chair, arms crossed and a fierce expression on her face, while their father stood nearby, his head hung low like a child caught with a broken toy. Ji-hoon couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for his dad's misery.
"Hana? Ji-hoon? When did you both get here?" their mother asked, her tone softening slightly as she noticed them.
"Just now," Ji-hoon replied, trying to keep his voice light despite the tension in the room. "What's going on?"
"Your father had a little accident," she said, her eyes narrowing at their dad, who shifted uncomfortably under her gaze. "He was trying to help with the dishes and... well, you can see how that turned out."
Ji-hoon glanced at the shattered pieces of the crockery scattered on the floor, a mix of disbelief and amusement bubbling up inside him. "Dad, you really need to be more careful," he said, unable to suppress a smile.
Their father looked up, a sheepish grin breaking through his embarrassment. "I was just trying to be helpful," he said, his voice tinged with regret. "I didn't mean to cause all this." He was looking like a kicked up puppy.
Knowing how his mother was with her fine crockery, always behaving like an obsessive woman, Ji-hoon couldn't help but shake his head. Only God knew what it was about those dishes that her mother so protective.
"Seriously, Mom? You created all this chaos just for this crockery?" Ji-hoon said, his expression a mix of disbelief and exasperation. "You do realize we can buy thousands of sets like this, right?"
His mother shot him a sharp look, her brows furrowing. "It's not just about the crockery, Ji-hoon! These were a gift from your grandmother, and they hold sentimental value!"
Ji-hoon sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I get that, but is it really worth all this drama? Look at Dad-he feels terrible enough as it is."
Their father nodded, still looking sheepish. "I really didn't mean to break it, honey. I was just trying to help with the dishes ."
" "Okay, I'm forgiving you this time," Na-ri said, squinting her eyes playfully at her husband, a hint of a smile tugging at her lips.
A beautiful grin spread across Ji-hoon's father's face as he chirped, "Thanks, honey! You're my beautiful wife."
"Done with the buttering up?" Na-ri asked, raising an eyebrow, her tone teasing yet affectionate.
"Never!" he replied with mock seriousness, a playful glint in his eyes. "I will never get tired of loving you until the end."
Na-ri's expression softened, and she couldn't help but smile at his heartfelt words. "You always know how to charm your way out of trouble, don't you?" she said, her tone light but filled with warmth.
On the other hand, Ji-hoon and Hana silently witnessed their parents flirting, small smiles adorning their lips. It was a heartwarming sight, one that filled them with a sense of comfort and joy. They could see the playful banter and affection between their mother and father, a gentle reminder that love could flourish even amidst the chaos of everyday life.
Hana nudged Ji-hoon gently, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Can you believe how cute they are?" she whispered, trying not to disrupt the moment.
Ji-hoon nodded with soft smile while gazing at his parents.
"Oh no, in all this drama, I completely forgot that you two are heading to Paris today, right?" Na-ri exclaimed, her hands clasped together in realization. "When is your flight?"
Ji-hoon and Hana exchanged glances, both letting out a resigned sigh. They had been trying to avoid the topic.
"Yes, Mom, it's at 10 PM," Ji-hoon replied, trying to keep his tone light.
"Did you guys pack your necessary things?" Na-ri asked, her motherly instincts kicking in as she began to fuss over them.
"Yes, Mom," Hana chimed in, forcing a smile. "We're all set."
Na-ri's expression softened, but a hint of worry lingered in her eyes. "You know I worry about you both.
"We'll be fine, Mom," Ji-hoon reassured her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "We've got everything under control. Plus, we'll have Tae-ho and So-young with us. They'll keep us in check."
"Well, what about So-young?" Ji-hoon's father asked, a hint of curiosity in his voice. "How is she getting to the airport?"
Hana smiled, glad to have an answer ready. "We've actually decided to pick her up on the way to the airport," she replied. "It'll be easier that way, and we can all go together."
" That's a good idea "
They chatted for a while longer before aparting from each other . A sense of confusion hung in the air regarding their upcoming trip to Paris. The reality of their contract marriage weighed heavily on their minds, and the idea of spending their honeymoon together felt more like an obligation than an excitement.
While they were happy to take a break from their busy jobs, they worried about how the trip would go. Would it be awkward? Would they enjoy spending time together? They can't help but think .

Soon, it was time for their departure. Their parents stood at the doorstep to bid them goodbye, the atmosphere filled with a mix of warmth and concern.
"Sweethearts, take care of yourselves," Na-ri said, her voice filled with concern and love. Then, turning her gaze to Ji-hoon, she added, "And Ji-hoon, especially you-don't get yourself into trouble!" She pointed her index finger at him, giving him a mock glare.
"Jeez, Mom, I'm not a child!" Ji-hoon whined, rolling his eyes in exasperation.
Hana and Tae-ho exchanged amused glances, trying to suppress their laughter . It was rare to witness the great cold and arrogant ceo getting scolded.
" Oh honey seriously I have decided that we will go on another honeymoon after this children return back " Their father said glancing at his wife whose face flushed.
( ヽ(`Д'#)ノ what the heck i'm writing ? )
"Seriously, Dad, have some shame!" Ji-hoon exclaimed, his eyes wide in disbelief.
"If today's kids can be shameless, why can't I?" his dad scoffed, crossing his arms ."Besides, there's no shame in showing love to my wife!"
Na-ri shook her head, trying to hide her embarrassment but unable to suppress a smile. "You're impossible!" she said, playfully swatting at him.
Hana and Tae-ho couldn't hold back their laughter, enjoying the lighthearted banter between their parents , they highfived each other . Ji-hoon rolled his eyes but couldn't help but smile at the warmth of the moment.
It wasn't long before they bid their final goodbyes and headed for the airport. The car was filled with the lively chatter of Tae-ho and Hana, while Ji-hoon was absorbed in his phone, scrolling through messages and trying to distract himself from their chatter.
Soon, the car came to a stop in front of an apartment building to pick up So-young.
"Tae-ho, go and ask So-young to come," Ji-hoon ordered, glancing at Tae-ho, who looked taken aback.
"Why me? Isn't she Hana's friend?" Tae-ho asked, raising an eyebrow in disbelief.
"Yes, she is, but you're sitting by the door, so it'll be easier for you. Just go," Ji-hoon replied, his tone firm. "Don't argue."
"It's alright, I can go," Hana tried to intervene, wanting to help, but she was interrupted by Ji-hoon.
"Did I ask you?" he said, his voice a mix of annoyance and determination.
Tae-ho sighed dramatically but knew better than to argue further. "Fine, fine! I'll go," he said, opening the door and stepping out. As he walked toward the apartment .
Hana looked at Ji-hoon with annoyance. "Why did you do that?" she asked, crossing her arms.
"My wish," Ji-hoon replied nonchalantly, shrugging his shoulders. "Besides, you both were talking a lot, and it was getting annoying."
"Jerk," Hana shot back, rolling her eyes.
(With Tae-oh and So-young)
So-young was softly humming a song , few minutes before She got a text from Hana saying they will be reaching soon . She was packing her purse when door bell buzzed grabbing her attention .
" Coming !" she yelled .
So-young was softly humming a song as she packed her purse, her mind racing with thoughts of the trip. A few minutes earlier, she had received a text from Hana saying they would be arriving soon. Just as she was about to grab her last few items, the doorbell buzzed, grabbing her attention.
"Coming!" she yelled, her excitement bubbling over.
She quickly grabbed her bags and fished her keys out of her pocket. With a smile on her face, she walked toward the door. Unlocking it, she swung it open and exclaimed, "Hey, bitch! What's up? I'm so excited!"
She pulled the person at the door into a warm hug, her energy infectious. "I've been looking forward to meeting your handsome cousin you told me about!"
As So-young pulled back from the hug, she finally took a good look at the person standing in front of her. Her heart raced with excitement, but then it froze in shock.
A moment of silence hung in the air, filled only by the sound of her own heartbeat.
Tae-oh looked equally surprised, his expression a mix of amusement and confusion.
So-young's cheeks flushed a deep crimson as she stammered, "Oh my gosh, I thought you were Hana! I'm so sorry!"
Unable to control her embarrassment, So-young slammed the door shut in Tae-oh's face with a loud thud. Her heart raced in bewilderment as she tossed her phone from her pocket and quickly dialed Hana.
"What the heck, girl? Where are you, and who is the boy at my doorstep?" she whisper-yelled, her voice a mix of panic and confusion.
"I'm in the car, and that boy is Ji-hoon's cousin I told you about," Hana replied calmly. "Why, what happened?"
"Nothing! I was confused. Bye!" So-young blurted out, cutting the call before Hana could respond. She took a deep breath, feeling utterly ridiculous for her earlier reaction. How dumb of her to do that!
After a moment of composing herself, she awkwardly opened the door again, trying to play it cool. "Um, well, sorry! I forgot to turn off the gas stove," she said, scratching her neck nervously.
But when she looked outside, she found no one there. "What the heck? Where did that hottie go? Is he a magician too ?" she whispered to herself, her eyes wide in disbelief.
"No, miss, I ain't any magician"
She heard a voice say, followed by a light clearing of the throat. She turned her head to the side, her heart racing again, only to find Tae-oh leaning casually against the wall, his focus on his phone.
"Seriously? You were just standing there the whole time?" she asked, her embarrassment flooding back as she realized how silly she must have looked talking to herself.
Tae-oh looked up, a playful smirk on his face. "I was just enjoying the show. You really thought I'm hot?"
So-young felt her cheeks heat up again. "I-uh, I didn't know you were still here!" she stammered, trying to regain her composure. "I thought you left!" not knowing what to tell.
"Not a chance," he replied, chuckling. "I was waiting for you to come back out. You know, to see if you'd actually turn off that gas stove."
"Right, the stove," she said, trying to sound nonchalant while internally cringing at her earlier behavior. "Well, I'm here now, so let's go!"
With that, they headed toward the car, and all the while, So-young wished she could just bury herself seven feet underground. She mentally noted that she would take her revenge on Hana later for putting her in such an embarrassing situation.
Once they settled into their seats, Ji-hoon asked raising his eyebrow "What took you two so long to come?"
Tae-oh smirked at the question looking at So-young through frontmirror . So-young tensed up and gulped, her heart racing. It wasn't like they knew anything about her awkward encounter, right?
"Well, someone forgot to turn off their gas stove, and I think they were too busy talking," Tae-oh said, his smirk widening.
So-young's mind raced. "Heck, how did he know I was talking to someone?" she thought, her cheeks flushing again.
"Okay, okay, we're already late, so let's go!" Hana interjected, eager to move past the moment.

After a few minutes, they reached the airport and began moving toward the check-in point. Hana glanced at her best friend, who was silently walking with an awkward smile plastered on her face. Hana could sense that something had happened between So-young and Tae-oh, but she decided to ask about it later when they had more privacy.
Once they checked their passports and luggage, they headed toward their plane. (A/N: I'm broke and I don't have any idea related to planes ) Their tickets were booked in economy class, and as they settled into their seats, Hana and Ji-hoon found themselves sitting together, much to their dismay, while Tae-oh and So-young sat another side.
Ji-hoon was talking to Hana about their plans for Paris when a deep, velvety voice interrupted them.
" Ji-hoon?"
