Hey guys, I know it's a few days late, but Merry Christmas! Here's a little something I've been working on for the past week or two, my latest short story, a Christmas special/present of sorts. Now yes, I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the best at updating regularly or frequently but I'm happy to say that this one is already finished. It's kind of short, which is why I'll be updating on Tuesdays and Thursdays to stretch it out a bit, so check back regularly for a new chapter.

Before we begin I'd just like to address a few things in this story, as usual, I'm not repeating anything I state here in the comments for anyone who didn't read this part or chose to skim over it. If anything here is brought up, I'll simply direct you to this note and ask you to read it so I'm not repeating myself over and over again. It's not me trying to be rude or anything, it's simply a matter of convenience and I'll thank you for your understanding. :)

Age:

The reader, Gabe and Lui are all eighteen. They are in their final year of high school and are the legal age to be drinking alcohol. I realise laws are different across countries, as is the education system, what I've written here like in all my stories is what I know in my country.

Siblings:

Gabe is the reader's twin brother, he was born a few minutes before the reader so he is also referred to as the older brother, they are the same age though.

Personalities:

Admittedly Gabe and Lui are both out of character in this, but I feel that it's justified. On TV Gabe is pretty stoic I guess, but he's much more open around the people he knows, considering that the reader is his twin I definitely think that he would be a lot more open, caring, etc around them. As for Lui, he mellowed out when he was older in Turbo, I wouldn't necessarily say that what happened in Turbo totally applies here, but he's older, so I feel like he'd be a bit more laid back. He'd also be nicer to the reader because they're important to Gabe. I've always seen Lui as loyal, so I definitely think he'd make an effort to get along with someone who is important to his friend. Both of them are OOC in this short story, but I don't think it's a drastic change.

Timeframe:

The events of Burst and Evolution are 100% canon in reference to this story, I wouldn't necessarily say that Turbo is though, because Lui sent some time in Canada. Personally, I didn't really take Turbo into account when I was writing this and more or less ignored it. How I view this is Lui went overseas, joined the Raging Bulls, and returned to Japan following the events of everything that happened in Evolution. Turbo doesn't fit into that.

I'm pretty sure that clears everything up, I might update this if anything else comes up. I hope you all enjoy this Lui x Reader, please vote and comment, I love hearing what you guys think.
