Chapter 11 - You Should (Never) Be Alone

When Lia woke up she was in  black void and behind her she saw Nightmare, Nightmare Fredbear, and Shadow Freddy, also known as Chris Afton the leader of the nightmares.

"You're awake good. I was hoping you would. I suppose you can possess Nightmare Wolftrap now." Chris said.

"Am I dead?" Lia asked.

"Yes, and no." Chris answered.

"That Terra, I should've done what she said! I should've turned him!" Lia yelled.

"You doubt yourself." Nightmare said.

"Of course I do! The person I'm in love with is in danger! And if I didn't listen then none of this would've happened!" Lia yelled.

"A minor setback that happens everyday." said Nightmare Fredbear.

"A minor setback?! The person that means the world to me is in danger and you call that a minor setback?!" Lia asked.

"Do you want to go back?" Chris asked.

"I- what?"

"I can send you back but that is all I will be able to do. The rest you'll have to take care of on your own." Chris said.

"I'll do anything to the power of the nightmares, and protect my friends." Lia said.

"Very well." Chris Afton then pointed and a door appeared.

"Now go, before I change my mind." Chris said.

"Thank you."

"The strength of the nightmares is with you." Nightmare said.

Lia woke up, on the ground with a dagger in her chest, and blood everywhere. The nightmare animatronics just saved her life.

"Was that a dream? I can't move."

Breathing heavily, Lia gave as much strength to pull out the dagger.

"I need to get up... It hurts! I can't die here."

Lia remembered a time when she was younger, and her trainer, Golden Freddy, was yelling at her about Chris.

"What is wrong with you, Lia?!" Golden Freddy asked.

"I just want to see him!" Lia yelled.

"You're sneaking out to go see that... that boy?! You barely know him!" Golden Freddy yelled.

"His name is Christian!" she yelled.

"I don't care what his name is! He's not important!" he yelled.

"I love him!"

"You don't know what love is!" Golden Freddy yelled.

"But I-" "Enough Lia! Talk back to me one more time, and I'll make sure you finish your training back at the warehouse! We had an agreement, I'd let you go training with the realm warriors under the condition that you stay out of relationship's besides talking to Commander Pixel, and now here you are trying to leave to this boy's house. What have I told you?! You are an Ultima! You cannot have these kinds of relationships!"

"Yes I can! You never trust me!" Lia yelled as her eyes turned fire red.

"And for good reason! Look at your eyes, Lia! Your emotions are still unstable! You will become a monster if you can't control them! What's going to happen if you can't control yourself and end up turning him?!" Golden Freddy asked.

"I-" "That's the last thing the animatronics need! I promised them that I would train you to control your eyes before you got a job or anything that involves going out in public! Oh I can see the headline now. Orphan girl found in pizzeria, with a dangerous power that needs to be removed permanently! If they find out that you've been here the entire time that we've been open, you're going to die!" Golden Freddy yelled.

"My parents died protecting me. I can protect others with my power." Lia said.

"How many times do I have to tell you, Lia? Your powers are so powerful that you could end up killing someone by just howling. I'm not just trying to protect you, but the entire 20 realms!"

"This isn't fair!" Lia yelled.

"Life isn't fair, Lia. You don't think that your father went through the same thing? He kept his distance when he was your age. Even with your mother, he continued to do that till he died fighting those hunters. He knew what could've happened to him and all werewolf people if he lost control. I don't want this for you, but you have to understand the situation you are in!" Golden Freddy yelled.

"But-" "Go downstairs, Lia, and don't come up until your eyes change. And I better not hear anymore of this boy. You're better off being alone!" he said.

(Present time)

"I don't... want to be alone."

Using all of her strength, Lia tried to stand up.

Back with Skellington, he was running to the forest trying to find his way back to the lodge.

"This can't be happening. Is Lia really- she's dead. I need to get back to the lodge. Belle could be in trouble." he said.

He ran through the forest, and tried to find his way back.

Back with Lia, she was in a lot of pain after her first attempt to stand.

Then, she remembered when she was in training with the other realm warriors.

Herobrie, Foxgirl90, and Enchantment were talking and noticed that Lia was sitting all alone wearing her mask. So they called her over.

"Me?"

Foxgirl nodded.

But before Lia could walk over to them, Commander Pixel had stopped her.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you... Strict orders from Fazbear. He said that he didn't want you to get into any form of relationships other than acquaintances." Pixel said.

"What?!"

"The animatronics want you to be safe along with the rest of the realm warriors. They just want what's best for you."

"You mean to keep me from having a life! They don't want me to have any friends!"

"Your words not mine."

"Ugh! Are you kidding me?!"

"Afraid not, and after that little stunt you pulled off, fighting the Marionette, they're not taking any chances." Commander Pixel replied.

"I just visited! Do I have to tell them everything?!" Lia asked.

"You should ask them. I'm not sure how you used the slip before, but now I have to make sure I know where you are at all times. I don't want to do this to you kid, but it's for the best that everyone is safe."

"Please Commander, leave me alone."

"I'm afraid I can't do that. You should go back to your dorm, till I get some answers. I was raised by the animatronics myself, and they're usually not this protective."

Then Herobrie, Foxgirl, and Enchantment walked away, feeling sorry for Lia.

(Present time)

"*cough cough* It doesn't have to be like that. Not anymore."

Then the injured wolf pup came by, he didn't want to see Lia like this.

"Huh? It's you... Don't cry. I'll be fine. I just need to pull myself together."

Seeing part of her sleeve on the pup's leg, Lia remembered when she was practicing a play with Chris.

"Deny thy father and refute- refute- refuse?! Oh Hahaha! I was never great at acting. Why did Dante' decide to give me the part of Romeo?"

"Hehehe, didn't you take theater in school? He just trusts you." Lia said.

"Ugh! More like he's just using me to get girls to audition for this play." Chris replied.

"Hehehe, I'm sure it's not like that... Okay, I'm like 70% sure."

"*Sigh* You know you don't have to audition for the part of Juliet. I appreciate you wanting to help, but don't you think it'll be weird?" Chris asked.

"Weird? Why?"

"Well, because we have to kiss." Chris answered.

"I mean I wasn't thinking about that. It's been a long time since we've-"

"Plus, that means you have to take off the bandanna around your- Lia, I just realized it, but that's the same bandana I gave in training school, isn't i-"

"I mean it was nice material, and it lasted really long. So-"

"Why do you still wear that bandanna over your face? You've been doing it since you lost your own!"

Lia didn't answer.

"I mean, it must be hard to see out of it. Plus, don't you think it's a bit... odd? I mean, I'm used to seeing you in it, but... I'm sorry."

"It's not a problem. It was an honest question. So I-"

"No. I was just teasing you about it, but I thought about you... I'm sorry for what happened between us in training school. I know that at that point, we were thinking about being more than just friends, but we were so far apart. It was hard, and all the stupid stuff that happened. After everything we've been through, you're still here for me."

"Of course I am. Chris, you were my first friend. I was never going to abandon you. You make me happy in more ways than you know."

Then Chris put his hand on Lia's shoulder.

"I miss seeing your eyes, Lia."

"Why?"

"They were beautiful. They had that little sparkle to them. It hurts that you hide them." Chris answered.

"I don't think you'd want to see them. I can't control- I mean, I've gotten used to this."

"I won't make you, but looking into your eyes made me happy."

Lia was nervous, she could feel her heart pounding in her chest. And then she took off the blind fold they were green instead of red. Her natural eye color.

"How do they look?"

"They look just like the Lia I know."

"Hehe, Good." Lia hugged Chris, and he hugged back.

"I never feel alone when I look into your eyes."

"You should never feel alone."

"Will you always be here for me, Lia?" Chris asked.

"Always." Lia answered.

(Present time)

"I won't give up!" Lia got off the ground as her eyes changed fire red.

"I am going to get you back Christian." Lia tore off her jacket and put it over her eyes.

Back at the lodge, Skellington was pacing around trying to find out what he should do.

"What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?! Lia is dead. Christian, Jianna, and Pixle are mind controlled! I need to go back. I need to-"

Then all of the sudden Lia barged through the door!

"Lia?"

"I'm alive."

"Why are you wearing that over your face? Are your eyes okay?!" Skellington asked.

"I'm fine." Then she pulled out the emerald that she had found in the garage.

"Jianna, Pixle, Christian! Terra has them! We need to go back!"

"We will, and Terra... is mine." Lia replied angrily.
