Lord Elrond stood. "My dear, did either of your parents tell you? You are not from Earth.  Both your parents are elves."

       "Where elves." Lily whispered. "They were both killed."

       Lord Elrond sighed. "I told them not to leave Middle Earth. My daughter was always headstrong."

       "Your my grandfather?!" Lily gasped. Lord Elrond nodded.

       "Had you ever wondered why you were the only on with pointed ears? Or why your family spoke Elvish only at home?" He stood and said, "Aí, Lily o Rivendel."(Hail, Lily of Rivendel)

       " Why do you hail me?" Lily asked.

       Lord Elrond smiled. "Lily, you must change for the council this afternoon. Oh, and let the people call you Lady Indil. That's your elvish name. Arwen will assist you."

       Lily walked to her room and found Arwen standing there.

       "Á Lily. Im Arwen." (Hello Lily. I am Arwen.) "I'll help you change."

      Lily changed into a pale yellow gown that stretched to the floor. Creamy lace adorned the sleeves.

       "Okay." Lily said."Arwen can you show me the meeting place?"
