Sleep couldn't befall me, so I stared at the friendship bracelet on my left wrist. Black and purple, with a storm cloud charm. When he gave it to me, he apologized for not being able to go all out.
Roman has red round beads and golden crown beads for his with a castle charm. Logan has multiple that cover a lot of his arm. They are navy blue star charms and black round beads with a brain charm. Patton's are light blue hearts and white round beads with a puppy charm.
I look at mine and notice that mine is special. Assortment of purple lightning bolts and black diamonds. Even some grey hearts too. I loved mine, he really did put a lot of work into it.
He mailed it to me a few weeks after we became friends. I always look at it when I'm upset. It just shows that I have someone caring about me. That's a nice thought.
✿ Roman ✿
"I'm just saying, Virge, you're wrong," Patton crossed his arms, a determined look on his face.
"I am not!" Virgil rolled his eyes exasperated.
"Are too!" Patton and Virgil continued the "heated" argument, and I laughed a little bit.
"What are you two fighting about?" I asked, laughing.
"Virgil is denying the fact that he is Evan Hansen," Patton told me.
"It's not true!" Virgil put his hands on his hips.
"I happen to agree with Padre over here," I say, smirking. Logan nods with me.
"Ughhh," Virgil groaned.
"If anything that's a compliment. Evan is amazing," Logan said, and I smiled. The nerd can NOT deny that he loves Broadway as much as I do. He's such a sucker for it. Patton grinned too, happy Logan was taking his side.
"Exactly, unlike me," Virgil pointed out.
"If you keep talking bad about yourself I won't hesitate to slap you," Patton said frowning.
"That sounds surprisingly very threatening coming from you," Logan noted.
"Sorta does," I say, laughing.
"Fear me," Patton says, and Virgil laughs.
"Ok, now I'm not afraid," Virgil tells us.
✿ Virgil ✿
Evan? Evan Hansen. Honestly, I hate to admit Patton is right. When I first listened to it, I immediately connected to Evan. Socially anxious, living with a single mom, but I've never broken my arm.
Patton is the one who introduced me to Broadway. I know a few of the popular ones. Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, and Be More Chill. Patton wanted me to get the full Broadway experience when I met Roman.
Now I've finally met him and have been bombarded with so much Broadway. So much. These three are seriously all theater geeks. Even, Logan.

Friday night means football games. I never went to any of the games at my own school, because, if I'm being, had no idea what was going on. Plus, I didn't have any friends to go with. But now I have Logan and Patton, and they promised to teach me what was going on.
"I swear, we better win this game," Logan crossed his arms when he looked at the score. We were behind, but not by too much.
"Oh c'mon, Logan, have some faith, we're only behind by a little, we got this!" Patton grinned.
I tuned out Logan and Patton's fighting, and I looked around, and started laughing. Cheerleaders were as peppy as ever; the dance team was going nuts and screaming at the top of their lungs, they were some badasses I gotta say; the band was also going nuts, it want helping that the dance team danced to literally every song they played. I soon realized I was smiling and almost laughing, I regret not going to any sporting events because, I swear, everyone here is hyped up on adrenaline and pride.
"Looks like Virgil is enjoying the game," Logan grinned, and I blushed out of embarrassment. Shit.
"Awww! I'm glad you're having fun at your first game," Patton smiled, "But~ we have a tradition afterward!"
"Going to Waffle House. Yes, I know, you've told me," I nodded, and grinned.
"Patton has texted you several times while we were at Waffle House together," Logan noted.
"Oh yeah! He told me I made him laugh so hard, soda came out of his nose," I laughed.
"My nose burns just thinking about it," Pat pouted.
"Holy shit, RUN, ROMAN, RUN!" I yell at the top of my lungs, and Patton and Logan do the same.
"Heck yes!" Patton high-fived Logan and I both as we scored!
"WOOOO!" I yell along with Logan.
Football changes people. Wherever you're watching it or playing it, the shy become bold, the geeks become strong, and if you don't cuss..throw that out the window because you're going to curse. It's gonna happen. I already made a bet with Logan that Patton will curse at least once during the season.
✿
"We are the champions!" Pat and I sing, but Logan rolls his eyes at us, "You two are ridiculous."
"Says the one who screamed at the top of his lungs the whole time," I smirked. Logan frowned.
"Who's ready for Waffle House?" Roman ran up to us, dressed in a t-shirt and jeans, his hair damp from what looked like sweat, but we all didn't mind.
"Oh my god! Roman you did great!" I smile, my eyes probably shining with amazement.
"Trust me, it wasn't anything special," Roman rubbed the back of his neck.
"Roman, stop kidding yourself, you're a junior and one of the best players on the team," Patton complimented.
"Patton has a point," Logan agreed.
"You guys seriously flatter me, but it's Waffle House time," Roman grinned excitedly.
"Waffles! Waffles!" Patton chanted and Roman soon joined him. I started laughing, and Logan was smiling.
God, I love these weirdos.

Lots..of..filler
I'm sorry, but I LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP.
Also, yes, there characters as a whole are a little different than canon. Don't worry, we'll get angsty Logan and Virgil soon.
And yes, that is how high school football games are.
I'm on dance team, we go insane, and dance to our drum line ALL THE TIME. Plus, we are vine queens.
I'M SORRY I JUST LOVE THIS FIC.
THAT IS ALL.
Love you.
