jaehyun heaved out a sigh as he stepped inside the venue for the nth seminar of the month, sicheng wearing a nice navy tuxedo by his side and looking very confident despite being an engineer in the middle of businessmen.

in fact, it seemed like everything was upside down.

instead of acting like the confident ceo he usually was, jaehyun's stress level somehow increased with each step he took, and he definitely wouldn't mind leaving the seminar and going back home to hide under his blanket.

and instead of being the usually nervous mess sicheng was in these kinds of situations, the fake-secretary was walking his his back straight and his head up, occasionally greeting the people around.

"here they are." sicheng muttered, as him and jaehyun stopped walking, their eyes falling simultaneously on yuta and taeyong who were discussing with another ceo and their secretary.

a wide smile unconsciously appeared on sicheng's face while jaehyun turned livid, his will to run away skyrocketing at the sole sight of the boy he had intimately kissed two days prior.

"let's go?" sicheng tilted his head to the side, glancing at jaehyun.

"what for? we don't need to stick to them every single time." the ceo answered defensively.

"but i wanted to be with yuta..." the engineer replied with a pout, his eyes diverting to look at the other ceo adoringly.

jaehyun huffed. "yeah, well, try to keep your hands to yourself. i'm not sure yuta would be bragging to his secretary that he is smooching his rival's secretary."

sicheng's cheeks reddened immediately. "we're not smooching!" he whisper-shouted, hitting jaehyun's arm with his notebook.

"not yet, but it is just a matter of time." jaehyun replied with an eye roll.

"hello, hello!"

jaehyun's body immediately tensed hearing his rival's voice as sicheng's whole world seemed to light up instantly.

"hello." jaehyun spoke simply, glancing at the two males who had just appeared by their side. yuta had his eyes on sicheng already, and taeyong seemed to be in a similar state as him considering how his head was hanging low and his eyes glued to his shoes.

"so, how have you been? it's been a while." yuta declared, patting jaehyun's shoulder in a friendly manner. jaehyun glared at his hand, immediately making him pull it back.

"good i guess." jaehyun replied with no emotions in his voice. "just doing business."

"oh, yeah, of course." yuta chuckled, glancing at sicheng. "we are very busy men."

a silence followed these words, and awkward one that is – seemed like these days, jaehyun and taeyong were stuck in a lot of awkward situations.

nobody had anything particular to talk about. jaehyun was definitely not in the mood, taeyong could barely breathe because of how nervous he was, sicheng had nothing to say considering he wasn't even an actual secretary, and well, yuta was definitely not going to keep trying to make a conversation go if no one cooperated the slightest.

"okay, well, sorry, but i need to head to the bathroom quickly before the seminar actually starts!" he declared, making eye-contact with sicheng and sending him a quick unnoticed wink before walking away.

sicheng gulped, his eyes following the ceo before clearing his throat to catch the attention of the other two. "i'm going to go as well so that i won't get tempted during the seminar." sicheng explained, flashing jaehyun an apologetic smile.

"don't you dare..." jaehyun whispered, glaring at his fake-secretary.

"i'll be back shortly." sicheng replied simply, walking away in the same direction as yuta and leaving jaehyun and taeyong alone in silence.

without uttering a word, the two males slowly looked up simultaneously, meeting eyes before looking away immediately. jaehyun cleared his throat as taeyong passed a hand through his hair, both wanting nothing more than be far from each other right now.

thankfully, after 20 long seconds of an unbearable silence, taeyong gathered enough courage to start speaking and hopefully make this whole interaction less awkward.

"t-they're serving drinks and breakfast over there if you want something..." he stated simply, barely lifting his head to look at jaehyun.

"yeah, we could go grab something." jaehyun hummed before turning on his heels and walking away.

however, he was stopped after a second by taeyong tugging on his sleeve. "i-it's that way..." the secretary mumbled, pointing the other direction jaehyun had started to walk in.

"r-right." the ceo cleared his throat before heading in the right direction this time, taeyong following a few steps behind him.

the two of them reached the breakfast area and immediately went to the drinks counter, each of them ordering a drink. they were then invited to get in one of the meeting rooms nearby to join the other businessmen who were having their own breakfast.

heaving a sigh, taeyong and jaehyun walked in the first room they saw and sat down around the table a few chairs apart. the room was void of any human presence except for the two of them, but neither of them really minded. they weren't ready to have a conversation with any stuck-up businessmen right now.

so, still in silence, jaehyun and taeyong sipped on their drinks; jaehyun a black tea, as usual, and taeyong an americano. the two businessmen didn't dare looking at each other, both keeping their eyes fixed on whatever there was around the room and avoiding each other at all costs.

it wasn't complicated to understand that something was going on between the two of them. the air around the room was starting to get more and more suffocating as the tension increased, neither of the two determined to break the wall that was bulding up between them.

they had a lot on their mind, and they weren't exactly aware that they were thinking about the exact same thing at the moment; the kiss.

actually, this had been all they had been able to think about since it happened. the way they had held each other close, pulling onto each other's bodies and clothes while their lips had a sensual dance, tongues and teeth joining the ballet from time to time.

it was undeniable, this kiss had had a powerful impact on both of them, more powerful that they accepted to admit to themselves, and as much as they refused to believe it, they were both craving for it again.

seeing the cute secretary being all silent and tensed, jaehyun wanted nothing more than to place a comforting hand on his thigh and cup his cheek with his other to make him look up into his eyes and reassure him by planting a kiss on his cherry lips.

and being aware of how the ceo kept biting the inside of his cheeks, taeyong wanted nothing more than to wrap his arms around the boy's broad shoulders and kiss him on the lips fully, to allow him to bite something else than the insides of his cheeks.

but well, could they even dream about making a move when they were both convinced that the other only felt awkward after doing something that they shouldn't have done?

after what felt like an hour – but was in fact around a minute – jaehyun cleared his throat and stood up, leaving his half-empty cup of tea on the table.

taeyong lifted his head, curiously staring at him as he walked to the door, checked outside and closed it right after before leaning on it.

"so, are we going to stay like this all day long?" the ceo asked, nervousness visible in the way he kept swaying his body from one foot to another.

"i'm not sure we're in the right environment to talk about it." taeyong replied honestly, his cheeks reddening as flashes of him and jaehyun's kiss appeared in his mind.

"i know, but we can't just stay like this." jaehyun sighed. "someone is going to notice how awkward we are, and they're going to ask questions... and then it will be even worse."

"how would people even notice?" the secretary scoffed. "i'm not your secretary."

"what are we supposed to do then?" jaehyun tackled back, his voice hiding a bit of anger – anger at himself only, for being so awful at keeping his emotions and controlling his desires.

taeyong placed his cup on the table before standing up as well, walking closer to jaehyun and crossing his arms over his chest. "i don't know." he raised a brow. "maybe do as if nothing had happened, as always."

jaehyun's breath hitched, his eyes completely mesmerised by the man standing in front of him.

now that he was there, right before his eyes, and talking to him, jaehyun could admire him perfectly. his pale and smooth skin, littered with tiny moles and little scars, his chocolate eyes embellished by a thin line of eye-liner and his lips, plump and rosy, which had been coated with a thin layer of gloss.

yes, jaehyun was in deep, and right now, being so close to the secretary, he wanted nothing more than to pull him by the collar of his shirt and glue his lips to his.

"i can't forget what happened..." jaehyun whispered, his eyes still focused on taeyong's parted lips as he broke the silence.

taeyong sighed, his own eyes flicking to look at jaehyun's lips. "and i can't either."

and this was all it took for the two males to let their instincts take over their bodies and for their lips to collide again after two long days.

jaehyun pulled taeyong by his hips, the secretary immediately lifting himself up by wrapping his arms around jaehyun's neck, and the two businessmen made out, french kissing each other without a shame. they leant against each other, tightening their embrace and making sure there was no space between their bodies as both had their eyes closed to savour the moment, breathy moans slipping between the sloppy kisses.

the feeling was addictive, and neither taeyong nor jaehyun were able to pull away. they wanted it so bad, to kiss each other like there was no tomorrow and to please their desires that had been urging to be pleased since their last encounter.

they may have been doing something wrong, kissing mindlessly in the middle of a seminar in a room in which anyone could enter, but honestly, they didn't care at that point. they had been waiting for this for so long, and neither of them were ready to stop this, not yet at least.

one thing was sure for the both males right now; this kiss was so relieving, and neither of them would ever get enough of this feeling.

sicheng discretely checked his surroundings, making sure there was no one around before he walked in the direction of the bathrooms. however, before he could put his hand on the handle and pull the door open, a hand gripped his wrist and dragged him in a perpendicular corridor.

the chinese male ended up pinned against a wall, between the two muscular arms of the japanese ceo as the male looked at him with a smirk.

"eager to see me, huh?" yuta teased, looking down at the chinese male.

"i'm not the one who has been sending winks right in front of jaehyun and taeyong though." sicheng tackled back immediately.

"is it a crime to think that your presence is a blessing and to want to be with you?" yuta raised a brow.

the chinese male tried not to blush at those words. "no. but what is a crime is saying such things in public where anyone could see us, and when we're supposed to be business rivals."

the japanese ceo didn't answer, flashing sicheng a sincere smile before he removed his hands from the wall and took a small stap back, putting some distance between the two of them.

"you look amazing in that navy tuxedo." yuta stated after a while, his eyes studying every curve of the chinese male's body that was hugged nicely by the hand-made suit. "but i must admit i do think you're even more beautiful in casual clothes."

"t-thank you." sicheng replied with rosy cheeks, still flustered after all those times yuta had complimented him. "you look handsome too." he added, lifting his head for a brief instant to look at yuta's outfit – a pair of high-waisted dress pants held in place by an expensive-looking belt and a tight white shirt.

yuta chuckled at sicheng's words, lifting his hand to reach for the male's head and ruffle his hair slightly.

following this action, they stayed silent for a few seconds, simply staring at each other and enjoying their close proximity.

they didn't really remember how it all happened, but at some point, they started to like this endless teasing and flirting very much, sending each other compliments from time to time and making each other's hearts beat pleasantly faster. they couldn't get enough of this.

"i-i... w-we should maybe go back to the others before they suspect something." sicheng declared after clearing his throat.

"yeah, you're right." yuta nodded, sad that his little interaction with sicheng would end so soon. sadly, they were from rival companies in the eyes of others, and so, they had nothing to do together like this. "let's go to the breakfast area, they'll surely be there already."

the two businessmen headed side by side to the breakfast area, leaving a bit of space between their bodies not to give away that they were perhaps closer than just business partners.

they both ordered something to drink and grabbed a pastry before heading towards the rooms to sit down at eat their breakfast. since most of the rooms were already full of businessmen – and that neither taeyong nor jaehyun were to be seen there – yuta walked to a room which had its door closed, imagining that maybe, it could offer him and sicheng a bit more time alone together.

the ceo knocked twice before pushing the door open.

"oh, here you are!" he exclaimed as soon as he noticed jaehyun and taeyong standing in the middle of the room, two cups of half-drunk hot beverages placed on the table.

jaehyun and taeyong were both slightly panting, taeyong biting on his lips nervously and jaehyun rubbing his nape with his hand. it was obvious that there was some kind of tension in the room and that yuta and sicheng's presence hadn't arranged anything.

"sicheng, let's go. i received a text from mister oh; he'd like to meet us now." jaehyun coughed and walked in the direction of the door.

"you're leaving us already?" yuta raised a brow, looking at his rival.

"i'm sure we'll run into each other again during the day." jaehyun simply replied, his eyes diverting between yuta and sicheng.

he then bid his goodbyes quickly and pulled sicheng out of the room towards god-knows-where.

"huh... who is mister oh again?" sicheng asked as they abruptly stopped walking.

"an excuse i made to escape." jaehyun retorted, biting the inside of his cheek as images of him and taeyong kissing like no tomorrow flashed in his mind. "i needed to be away from nakamotors for a while."

because how could he feel so good now that he had held taeyong close and tasted his lips again?

taeyong felt like disappearing of the surface of the earth.

why? very simple; jung jaehyun.

ever since the kiss they had shared earlier that day during breakfast, the secretary couldn't stop staring at him and wondering whenever he'd be able to kiss him as passionately again. the kiss they had shared and jaehyun were all that was on taeyong's mind at that point, he barely could concentrate on anything else.

right now, for example, yuta, sicheng, jaehyun and him were seated around a table for lunch, the two ceo discussing over the team workshops they had had in the morning for the seminar. needless to say, taeyong's efficiency during the workshops had been close to zero, and he could barely follow whatever they were talking about right now because of how messy his thoughts were.

another thing which definitely didn't help taeyong calming down was the countless eye-contacts he and jaehyun had had since the beginning of this meal.

taeyong couldn't get his eyes off jaehyun, that was one thing. but somehow, it seemed like jaehyun couldn't either, because each time yuta and sicheng were distracted, not paying attention to the ceo of jung corporation, jaehyun looked in taeyong's direction – inevitably meeting his eyes since taeyong was always staring at jaehyun.

and these eye-contacts weren't the shy type, when you turn your head the second you get caught staring at the other person. no, these eye-contacts were more of the intense type, when you keep staring at the other, getting lost in their eyes and almost forgetting about your surroundings.

and this did nothing good to both of their hearts.

"i really hope they're changing the teams for the afternoon workshops." yuta let out an annoyed groan. "my team this morning was shit. they're all so old and none of them had a newer vision."

"they're all old except for the two of us." jaehyun replied, toying with his food.

"yeah, well at least i hope we'll end up in the same team once. at least i won't be on my own defending a more modern point of view." yuta shrugged, pausing a second to take a bite of his food. "like, a while ago, they asked me for my opinion and I..."

taeyong didn't even get yuta's next words. his mind had diverted once again to jaehyun and the kisses they had shared, his heart fluttering inside his chest as he remembered them so vividly.

once again, his eyes fell on jaehyun, noticing that the ceo had already been looking at him. he flashed him the shyest smile, his cheeks probably red, which jaehyun returned, somehow causing taeyong's heart to stop beating.

sadly, their moment was disturbed by jaehyun's ringtone.

the ceo pulled his phone out, checking the name appearing on the device before sighing.

"i'm sorry, i must take the call." he informed.

"yeah, sure, go on." yuta nodded immediately, his mouth still full.

jaehyun stood up walking away as he picked up the phone and started speaking.

unconsciously, taeyong's eyes followed the ceo until he disappeared in one of the corridors, out of sight from the korean secretary.

taeyong waited for a few seconds, letting yuta chat with sicheng for a while before clearing his throat.

"i'm going to the bathroom really quickly. i'll be back." he said, standing up.

"alright." yuta replied, making a 'OK' sign with his hand before going back to talking with sicheng – now allowing himself to sound more teasing and flirtier since neither taeyong nor jaehyun were around.

taeyong crossed the lunch area and headed in the direction of the corridor jaehyun had disappeared in a few minutes ago. the secretary made sure no one was around or following him before walking in the corridor, a small smile appearing on his face when he noticed the ceo leaning on the wall while talking on the phone.

the korean secretary approached jaehyun slowly, and at some point, jaehyun noticed him, causing his eyes to widen slightly.

"yes, i told you it as up to them already." jaehyun said through the device as he looked at their surroundings. after a second, he walked to one of the doors in the corridor, pushing it open to reveal a meeting room.

still on the phone, listening to whatever the other person was saying, he looked at taeyong pointing at him before motioning him to come with his finger.

it was taeyong's turn to have his eyes widening before he shyly approached the ceo that was keeping the door open for him. once inside, jaehyun closed the door and leant against it.

"i have something important to do right now." he declared emotionlessly. "i'll call you again tonight."

and before the person on the other side of the line could protest, jaehyun hung up and put his phone back in his pocket, giving his all attention to taeyong.

it didn't take long for the two males to end up with their lips glued and their bodies pressed together.

in fact, the second jaehyun had put his phone away, taeyong had leaped on him, wrapping his arms around his neck to support himself as their lips met. jaehyun gladly answered to the kiss, his own hands finding their way around tayeong's waist and lifting him up to kiss him better.

"i-i can't restist it... i-i just always want to kiss you so bad..." taeyong breathed out, his lips brushing against jaehyun's as their faced were still intimately close.

"i'm glad we're on the same page, then." jaehyun simply replied before leaning forwards again and shoving his tongue down taeyong's throat, causing the secretary to moan against his mouth.

and that's how lunchtime ended for both of them: on a pleasantly sweet note.

yuta sighed, checking his watch to look at the time. 5:55pm; they still have five minutes to spare before the beginning of the conference.

the ceo looked at the table in front of him at the silver name tag on which was engraved his name. he then looked to his right where a similar name tag on which the words 'nakamoto yuta's secretary' was engraved in front of an empty chair.

his head then looked further to his right, noticing jaehyun's name place right next to taeyong's, his chair empty as well, and on the right of jaehyun's name plate, sicheng's – which was labelled as 'jung jaehyun's secretary'. and contrarily to the two seats on yuta's right, sicheng's was occupied by the chinese male.

"sicheng!" he whisper-shouted to catch the male's attention.

the fake-secretary looked up, flashing the ceo a small smile. "yes?"

"come sit here for a second." he stated, patting taeyong's empty chair.

sicheng obliged, standing up from his chair and getting on the one next to yuta's.

"taeyong isn't there yet?" he asked.

"i don't know where he has disappeared again..." yuta replied with a shrug. "what about jaehyun?"

"i lost him as well." sicheng informed.

"well, at least this means we get to spend some time alone together." yuta slightly chuckled, leaning a bit over the arm rest of the chair to get closer to the engineer.

"alone?" sicheng raised a brow. "not exactly my definition of alone." he explained, motioning to their surroundings where a few businessmen were already sitting in front of their name tags and where others were looking for their seats.

"it's better than nothing, i guess." yuta shrugged it off. "at least, i can do that..." he continued, his hand reaching for sicheng's under the table.

sicheng's cheeks flushed beet red at the sudden action, his heart missing a beat at yuta smiled at him as if it was the most casual thing to do.

"w-we're going to get caught." sicheng whispered, looking at his surroundings.

"hey, relax." yuta tightened his grip on the male's hand, letting his thumb caress the back of his palm. "nobody will notice anything. these businessmen care too much about themselves to pay attention to others..."

the gesture somehow helped sicheng relaxing as the chinese male nodded and wrapped his fingers correctly around yuta's hand as well.

this earned a small smile from the japanese male who was ecstatic that they were holding hands.

"did jaehyun and you discuss about world creativity and innovation day yet?" yuta asked the chinese male after a while.

sicheng had absolutely no idea what this thing was. "h-he did mention about it, yes." he nodded shyly, hating the fact he needed to lie.

"i'll be making a speech there. i expect to see you in the audience so that i can just look at you and calm down. if you're not there, i might be very stressed and mess everything up." yuta explained.

"come on, don't say that. a big ceo like you... i'm sure you could go on stage right now and ace that speech perfectly." sicheng rolled his eyes at yuta's words.

"well... not exactly." the ceo smiled shyly. "to be completely honest, i'm a nervous mess when talking in public... and... i tend to panic and mess everything up when i have to improvise." the ceo explained. "i usually learn my speech by heart so that i can always know what to say. otherwise, all of my credibility would be flying out of the window."

sicheng stared at yuta for a second, a lump forming in his throat at the words that had just left the ceo's mouth. he pulled his hand away from yuta's grip, his shaking pupils looking at yuta in distress.

"y-you... you s-shouldn't tell me this." he stuttered.

"why not?" yuta frowned, his eyes glancing at sicheng's hands that were getting all fidgety.

"b-because... i'm y-your rival's secretary." he voiced out. "t-these are confidential information that i-i shouldn't have."

"sicheng." yuta spoke, staring into sicheng's eyes. "you're not my rival secretary."

the engineer's eyes shot open, his heartbeat suddenly stopping in his chest as his whole body tensed. what did yuta mean? could he have discovered jaehyun and his secret? was he aware of who sicheng really was? would he expose them? what would he think of sicheng now?

"you're much more than that to me." yuta continued, sicheng's heart suddenly feeling much lighter as he realised that this was just a flirty comment rather than an indication that their secret had been discovered.

his heart then stopped beating once again as he processed the word yuta had just pronounced and the way the japanese male's hand had found his way back to intertwine with sicheng's.

you're much more than that to me.

wow, how did he expect sicheng to survive to such words and actions when the chinese male had been falling more and more for his charms every single day?

"i-i..." the fake-secretary stammered, not knowing what to answer.

yuta chuckled, pinching his red cheeks with his free hand. "stop being so cute."

and this definitely didn't help sicheng's heart.

"s-so..." sicheng coughed, deciding to speak in order to get rid of his nervousness. "have you already prepared this speech?"

"for world creativity and innovation day? of course." yuta nodded. "i've almost memorised it all." he chuckled before clearing his throat. "ladies and gentlemen, considering the many ecological concerns that out planet is facing, the need to drive smarter is becoming more and more important. that is why nakamotors has been trying to improve cars and make them use nature as a way to reduce the fuel needs..."

"are you seriously going to spoil me the whole speech?" sicheng chuckled as yuta recited his speech.

"today, countless nakamotors cars are already sold across the world, needing four times less fuel than regular cars. but this is not all. today, i am delighted to announce that fuel-less cars are coming our way as we managed to create the first prototype of car that needs no fuel to work. today, i am presenting you the- "

before yuta could continue his little speech, sicheng's free hand covered yuta's mouth, the chinese male's eyes widening at everything he had just heard.

"y-yuta... i-i know i'm much more than your rival's secretary to you..." he sighed. "...but i feel like this isn't an information that i should have."

"why not?" yuta raised a brow after removing sicheng's mouth from his mouth.

"you're revealing your business secrets to me!" sicheng whisper-shouter. "and i'm jaehyun's secretary!"

"and what if?" yuta shrugged. "jaehyun is going to know about it in a week anyway. what if he hears about it a bit before?"

"yuta, no... this is not a good idea." sicheng insisted, gulping down once again the lump that was forming in his throat. lying to the japanese male was becoming harder with each second passing.

"but- "

"ladies and gentlemen!" the presenter of the conference started speaking, catching everyone's attention.

sicheng immediately let go of yuta's hand and walked back to his seat, leaving jaehyun and taeyong's empty seats between them.

yuta stared from afar at the male, his heart somehow aching at the reaction he had just received from the chinese fake-secretary.

and so, neither sicheng nor yuta noticed that jaehyun and taeyong made it to the conference five minutes lates, slightly panting and with obviously bruised lips as they hadn't been able to resist – for the nth time that day – to the temptation of having their bodies intimately close to each other's and their lips glued together.
