Chapter 75- The Tragedy Of...

Inspirational quote: Stay real, stay loyal, or stay away from me.

🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

Breakdancing music was still kind of going on in the background until Dr Kozak cleared his throat, making everyone stop what they were doing and stare at him, knowing that they were all in serious and stupendous trouble immediately.

"What in tarnation is going on?!" He hollered, really angrily. But the people didn't listen to him because they continued with the music and watched Dr Kozak's sister break dance again.

Dr Kozak sighed to himself in stress, and Agent Ezekiel could tell that he was stressed. Arista in the meantime was talking to her friends the same age as her that all so happened to all be here in the same room as her all at the same time.

"Demetrius. Look, you need to sleep. You've fainted like five times today. I've noticed and counted. I can deal with this for you."

Dr Kozak was half calm, half annoyed at Agent Ezekiel but didn't say anything for a while.

"I just thought that you said that this was a problem, Ezekiel," Dr Kozak whispered back to him.

Agent Ezekiel nodded in agreement.

"It is a problem. I just didn't know or realise that your sister was going to be terribly breakdancing."

Dr Kozak didn't reply. Instead he irritatingly headed out of the room to get something, then once he came back, he was holding a blue and white megaphone with an enigmatic frown on his face.

"I repeat. What in tarnation is going on?"

There were actually a lot of people in the room at this time. All round him, Dr Kozak caught people glaring at him abhorrently, north, south, east and west.

On one side of the room were about five coloured agents- Agent Green who was wearing purple, Agent Blue who was wearing razzmatazz, Agent Black who was wearing terracotta, Agent White who was wearing fuchsia and Agent Yellow who was wearing magenta.

It just didn't make any sense whatsoever.

Other people in the room had included agents such as Dr Kozak's sister, Dr Kozak's other sister, Dr Kozak's cousin, Agent Ezekiel's brother and sister, and about seventy other people as well.

"An answer sometime today would be really nice!"

Agent Ezekiel's brother replied for him.

"Yo. Your sister Valentina was just breakdancing. It was off the hook! You guys missed everything!"

Dr Kozak replied by pushing him to the ground, but it was better than murdering him for no reason, at least.

"Plus why aren't any of you guys in bed? It's like four o'clock in the morning-" Dr Kozak stopped talking briefly, walking forwards and opened his eyes.

And when he saw what he saw next, he screamed.

"Agent Marcel?" He echoed for everyone in room 36,363 to hear him. "What the heck has happened to you?"

Dr Kozak's son was lying unconscious, everyone surrounding him, gasping, and almost completely forgetting that he was there in the first place.

Agent Marcel looked very unwell, and also looked like he had just fainted but couldn't get back up again.

He looked halfway between being alive and looking like he was just about to die, and that he had just gone blind.

Dr Kozak came closer to his son Agent Marcel, and ended up right in front of him.

"Marcel? Speak to me! What the hell has happened to you?!"

Marcel didn't reply properly of course. He just grunted, and totally ended up avoiding the question.

"Dad... D... Daa-"

He was struggling to say dad, but luckily Dr Kozak could hear him and could completely make out what he was trying to say.

"Agent Marcel! Speak to me! What were you just about to say?!"

"Da... Dad. I'm about to d..."

"You're about to what???" Dr Kozak couldn't and wouldn't take this anymore.

Even though the answer was downright obvious.

"I'm about to.. Die, dad...."

Agent Marcel started crying on the floor with everyone watching sort of whispering about him and crying too.

Everyone except Dr Kozak of course. He was just downright infuriated.

No real surprise there much once one thought about it though...The guy was always infuriated. Even when he wasn't supposed to be. That was the kind of person that Dr Kozak was.

"What? No. Of course not. Who did this to you?"

"I.. I got.. I got shot, dad." His son told him, struggling to breathe. "And it was all..."

Agent Marcel then very very very slowly pointed his finger at someone behind him and straight opposite Dr Kozak.

"His fault."

Dr Kozak looked up very steadily as well, becoming even more mad over who would have shot his son at such a young age, and when he realised who it was, he screamed at the top of his lungs before he had said anything else.

"Agent Sylvester?!"

Agent Sylvester just stared back at Dr Kozak, trying really hard to get out of this conversation.

"You shot my son! And you're my cousin?!"

Agent Sylvester just turned red and made some crazy hand gestures that were yet to exist.

"Pfft... I didn't mean to... Everything was an accident, really... plus you killed Astera and Lauriel so you can't really say anything."

"No it wasn't! We were all there! You shot Dr Kozak's son on purpose, Sylvester. Because you were annoyed at him."

This was coming from Agent White. Dr Kozak looked at him, then annoyingly at his so called cousin Agent Sylvester again.

Before Dr Kozak did anything else, he knelt down right in front of his son, checking his pulse rate.

But it was too late.

Agent Sylvester had shot Agent Marcel.

And he had just died.

"You just killed my son, Sylvester! He just died because of you!" Dr Kozak caterwauled at him, kind of via tears. "And I had my reasons as to why I killed Astera and Lauriel that I'm not willing to discuss with anyone!"

Agent Sylvester didn't reply, mainly because Dr Kozak's sister Valentina did it for him.

"Ooh. Please fight. I live for drama!"

Dr Kozak kind of swore at her in Italian, leaving his dead son and coming up real close to her.

"Shush, sis. You can't even break dance anyway."

Agent Valentina lost it as well, and soon after it was a sort of argument between the two siblings.

"How dare you tell me to shush?! I am older than you, Demetrius."

Dr Kozak was confused.

"No you're not? I'm older than you Valentina. What are you talking about?"

Valentina didn't say anything for a while, then...

"Whatever."

Dr Kozak rolled his eyes heavenwards when his sister wasn't fully paying attention.

"What did mum say about respecting me?!"

Dr Kozak rolled his eyes once again in disbelief, this was a habit now, and once Agent Valentina found out that her brother did that, she punched him hard in the right eye.

What proceeded next was oohing and aahing, as well as the words 'that's got to hurt' as Valentina sashayed off.

"Dude!" This was coming from agent Ezekiel as Dr Kozak was covering his punched eye with both of his hands.

"Are you okay?! That's got to hurt!"

Dr Kozak screamed but said that he was okay anyway.

"Yeah. I'm fine..."

"You know, your sister Agent Valentina can sometimes be a real-"

"Yeah. I know."

There was silence as many people tried to comfort Dr Kozak, Dr Kozak just kind of shooing all of them away.

"And damn. She broke your colour blindness glasses."

"It's fine. I never really needed them anyway. I've been wearing them for 30 years and I can see colours fine now."

Silence from Ezekiel.

"Dude! Your right eye is bleeding! Like, seriously!" He exclaimed to Dr Kozak, as if he was two years old and had never seen blood before.

Dr Kozak didn't reply, instead he dealt with his cousin Agent Sylvester in a way that no one would have ever imagined.

First, he lifted him up, spun him round and round, and kinda threw him to the wall.

And as he threw him to the wall, well Dr Kozak used his gun to shoot him, and Agent Sylvester was also dead like Dr Kozak's son as well.

Dr Kozak turned around, where everybody in the room was, once again, staring at him monstrously.

Dr Kozak was even more resentful than before, as he deafeningly yelled:

"If none of y'all want to get killed by me then I suggest y'all better start running now."

People stared at him again, but then less than a second later, they all screamed and ran away, presumably back to their bedrooms so that they could all sleep.

"Wait. Except you guys, Ezekiel and Arista, of course. I don't want to leave here at 4AM on my own."

Ezekiel and Arista stared at him, walking backwards then finally meeting him.

Dr Kozak caught up with them much much much later, talking to Ezekiel first then his daughter.

"Ezekiel..." Dr Kozak told him, trailing off. "I just wanted to say thank you. Just, thank you for everything you've done, and since day one, you've always been there for me ... I can't believe we've never had an argument once in our lives, not even being mad at each other once .. You are an amazing best friend, I love you because of this, and I just never want you to leave. You're legitimately the only person I can trust right now because everyone else is driving me absolutely crazy."

Sure, the strongest friendships and relationships was not one where they never argued, but one where they argued and made up... but Kozak and Ezekiel didn't ever need to argue.

Agent Ezekiel didn't reply, just smiled back at Dr Kozak, then before they knew it, they were hugging each other.

"I love you too and what you just said to me, I feel the same way about you," Agent Ezekiel told Dr Kozak after the hug, staring straight at Dr Kozak's face, not looking away from it once, Dr Kozak doing the same thing.

"You stay awesome, Demetrius," Agent Ezekiel told Dr Kozak, ruffling his hair. "Look. I need to go to bed. Goodnight."

Dr Kozak waved him goodbye as well as his daughter and soon after, there was another monotonous silence.

"I'm sorry your brother died," Dr Kozak told Arista, looking back at Marcel and Sylvester who were both dead, not doing anything about either of them.

"And I'm sorry your son died."

No one said anything as Dr Kozak's phone rang, and when Agent Arista heard it, she was kind of confused.

Even if she only heard a little bit of her father's ring tone.

"Your ringtone is very nice, father."

Dr Kozak nodded and then smiled.

"Thank you..."

Agent Arista didn't say anything as she was deeply staring at who the heck was calling Dr Kozak as he had answered his phone.

"And who the heck would you save as the letter 'E?'"

Esperanza, duh. Dr Kozak wanted to say, but didn't. He couldn't think it either as his daughter was unfortunately a mind reader as well which wasn't revealed until when Kieran and Dr Kozak both had to rhyme to save their lives.

He headed to talk to Esperanza on the phone for a while, and their conversation finished about two minutes later, with an awful lot of yelling coming from Dr Kozak's side.

And no. He never told her why he hadn't been communicating with her and Kieran this whole time. He didn't need to, plus he wasn't ready to tell anyone that Marcel had just died, besides the people already there.

Then they left the room, still leaving Marcel and Sylvester's dead bodies there to dispose of in the morning.

Dr Kozak and his daughter Arista were walking and talking simultaneously but both of them were stopped halfway when someone abruptly called Dr Kozak's name but luckily only for him to hear.

"Doctor Demetrius Kozahkistan." They began, where Dr Kozak spun around to see them really slowly. "I've been meaning to talk to you for quite a while now..."

Opposite Dr Kozak was his godfather, aka Professor Florentine, who was currently 81 years old (82 July something- no one really cared about his birthday because everyone pretty much hated him) and was also the boss of KOZAHKISTAN HEADQUARTERS, for some reason.

He was wearing a navy blue suit for some reason once again, that seemed about five sizes too big for him. He basically looked like Winston Churchill but just younger.

"Professor Florentine!" Dr Kozak hissed back unenthusiastically through gritted teeth.

"Wait. What? Who's Professor Florentine? You never told me about him before!"

Dr Kozak just pushed his daughter to one side on the left, signalling one minute to his godfather.

"That, is Professor Florentine. He's the boss of KOZAHKISTAN HEADQUARTERS."

"Wait. What? You're not the boss?"

"Sadly, no," Dr Kozak assured his daughter. "Even though I invented the place, yes I know, very confusing."

"But why aren't you the boss?" His daughter wanted to know.

Dr Kozak just rolled his eyes at the stress of it all, really.

"Listen, Arista. There's a hierarchy of the most important people here in KOZAHKISTAN HEADQUARTERS. Professor Florentine is at the top. I'm the second most important person here. I'm not at the top because Professor Florentine think that I'm 'irresponsible ' and 'not trustworthy enough'. So yeah. That's pretty much it."

Dr Kozak was about to say something else, but just then Professor Florentine found them.

"Are you coming or not? Don't make me get angry with you."

"I'm coming. But am I in trouble?"

"Kind of. Now, let's go." Professor Florentine forcefully grabbed Dr Kozak by the hand, taking him inside of his office, leaving Agent Arista behind.

"Wait. Dad! What about me!"

"I don't know. Just wait for me. Just please don't leave to go the the laboratory without me. I'm kinda scared of the dark."

And Dr Kozak said nothing else because he was gone for real and for good.

So Arista reluctantly waited outside the office.

And boy, did she have to wait for a very long time.
