Chapter 15- Mad At Vanessa!

Not talking to Vanessa "forever" had only lasted for about ten minutes, until Kieran frantically found himself trying to look for her again.
He eventually found his 'girlfriend' Vanessa standing by her locker, twirling her hair and admiring herself in the mirror- that was until Kieran abruptly cut her off by slamming Vanessa's locker shut and then banging his hand on the locker next to Vanessa's.
Vanessa looked annoyed, although when she found out that it was Kieran she couldn't help but to smile at him.
"Oh hey, Kieran. What's up? How are you?" She asked nicely.
She then opened the locker again, bringing out her mirror, before applying lipstick, making Kieran fix his eyes intently on her, with one eyebrow raised.
"I'm kind of mad at you, to be honest," Kieran admitted truthfully. "I need to talk to you in private about something as well."
Vanessa was confused.
"Why do you need to talk to me in private?" She wanted to know. "And why are you mad at me?"
Kieran didn't reply, just twisted her by the hand. He was about to go although Vanessa didn't move, making Kieran even more annoyed once again.
"That's for me to know and for you to find out," was all he said to her.
He did the same thing as last time again, but snatched her hand even harder than last time. Before Vanessa knew it, they darted across the hallway with Kieran still holding her hand, until he took her to some sort of janitor's closet and locked the door, in which Vanessa didn't actually know about yet.
"So explain yourself," Kieran insisted, crossing his arms boastfully. "Why you thought it would be a good idea to lie to me saying you love me when you don't. You're just using me."
Vanessa stared at Kieran confusingly, raising an eyebrow at him and shaking her head.
"First of all, I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, and secondly, Kieran? What is your problem?"
Kieran wasn't convinced. In fact, he wasn't convinced about anything nowadays. Goodness knew why.
"Oh don't act like you don't know," Kieran muttered ironically. "Your 'brother' told me everything."
"Why is brother in air quotes?" Vanessa demanded eagerly. "Clyde really is my brother. And what the flip are you talking about? I still don't understand."
Kieran, totally avoiding the question, had had enough by now. He wasn't going to put up with this any longer.
"Don't lie to me, Vanessa. I trusted you. But in reality it just turns out that you're a cheater, faker and troublemaker," Kieran unintentionally rhymed.
Vanessa stared at Kieran hard. Kieran did the same to her. When Kieran wasn't looking, Vanessa surreptitiously headed for the door. She tried pulling and pushing it, but Kieran just watched her even more, smirking at her.
"Looking for these?" He asked her, waving the keys around all up in Vanessa's face.
"I should've figured it out earlier. Did you lock this door?"
"I don't know." was all Kieran was bothered to say back. "Maybe. Until you tell me why it would be a good idea to lie to me, saying that you love me when you clearly don't!"
Vanessa couldn't take this anymore. Was this kidnapping?
After all, they were the same age, plus Kieran had malevolently locked the door on her.
Was it alright to call the headmaster on Kieran?
"For the last time, Kieran!" Vanessa threw her hands up in the air in frustration. "I don't know what you're talking about! Please let me go!"
"Oh yeah?" Kieran retorted, mimicking Vanessa's voice in the process as he did so. "Then how do you explain... This?"
Vanessa, still looking perplexed, fixed her eyes on Kieran as he brought out his phone from his pocket, clicking on some voice message and showing it to her.
Throughout the whole thing, Kieran noticed that Vanessa was becoming more aggravated every second, and at the end of the voice recording that Clyde had sent him, Vanessa lost it.
"I never said that." Vanessa uttered. "I'm telling the truth, Kieran. I mean it. Never ever ever in my life said that."
"But Clyde told me that you did," Kieran remembered, still shooting a death glare at her.
Vanessa's next response was a scream that was mainly targeted towards Kieran's direction.
"Oh so Clyde said that? And you believed him? How do you know he's not just jealous, Kieran? I can't believe you would believe something like that. I never said that!"
Kieran was about to say something until it turned out that Vanessa hadn't actually finished speaking yet.
"...It also kind of annoys me because you'd rather believe a person that lies to sabotage our relationship, rather than your own girlfriend. Clyde is a liar, Kieran. All those things that he said about me to you, are not true. And what normal girl would say that they like every boy that crushes on them even when they don't? I'm not stupid, Kieran. And it's a shame you don't trust me well enough to believe that. I'm out of here."
Kieran didn't reply.
That was until Vanessa came back, snatching the GF + BF forever necklace that was hopelessly dangling around Kieran's neck.
She removed hers as well, dumping both of them on the floor.
"For the record, Kieran," she told him, tears filling her eyes. "You're probably one of the worst boyfriends that I've ever had."
Kieran wanted to throw a tantrum again. The first time he threw a tantrum that same day was when his father was thinking of whether or not to add chocolate to Kieran's packed lunch because he was sick.
"Before you ask," Vanessa carried on. "I've had two boyfriends, excluding you. But it's over. You don't trust me, you'd rather believe Clyde the liar, and that's fine. I'm breaking up with you."
Kieran was speechless. When he wasn't looking, Vanessa brought out the keys from Kieran's pocket in which Kieran used to lock the door, then headed off.
Whilst she was off, so was Kieran, and livid thoughts kept on filling his mind about Clyde.
Where are you Clyde?
I'm seeking revenge on you, Clyde.
This isn't over, Clyde.
One day karma will come back to bite you, Clyde. I'll make sure of it.
I can't believe you lied to me about Vanessa and I fell for it... Why am I so incredibly stupid?
When Kieran was out of the janitor's closet for sure, he went to his locker and continuously thought about how he was going to get Clyde back.
People around him were looking at him expressionlessly as he randomly stared into space however they didn't say anything.
Then, looking briefly at his watch, Kieran realised that it was nearly time to go back to his class, although as soon as he was about to step one foot forward, a shadowing and towering figure just magically appeared right in front of him.
Kieran looked up, and was a bit surprised to find out it was Kendrick. Honestly, if Justin had sent him here to make fun of Kieran, then Kieran wasn't in the mood.
"Kieran! Kieran, I've been looking for you everywhere. I have to tell you something!" He shouted, panicking at Kieran.
Kieran still couldn't a hundred percent believe this. Or what Kendrick was wearing either. He was wearing jeans and a T Shirt but for some reason a tuxedo jacket over it.
"Uh... Why?" Kieran wanted to know. "I swear, if this is a trick, Kendrick..."
"I promise, it's not. Just come with me to the ice hockey rink, Kieran."
"But-"
"No time for talking. Come with me!"
With saying that, Kendrick took Kieran's arm as they both reluctantly made their way to the ice hockey rink before school began.

Moral of chapter: Just because someone is your enemy or your friend at first does not mean that it's going to stay that way for the rest of your life.
