Chapter 4: Dark Past

Past.....

Jinhwan and I are buddy friends. We always play together. I'm 7 years old and he's 8. And now we're in the forest playing.

"Yey! I won, I won, I won! You lose hahaha!" I laughed at him. He boiled in anger that's why he chased me after.

Until when I slipped........ "Jinhwan-nie!!!" I yelled at him when I fall in the dark.

I looked up because there he is, jinhwan. It's too high! And it's dark in here!

"Mingjoo-ssi!!" I heard jinhwan yelled, It echoed so I covered my ears. I cried my heart out. I'm scared at dark, I have a phobia about this!

"Jinhwan-nie!!! I-I'm scared! H-help me!" I shouted but no Jinhwan-nie's response so I yelled and cried.

Until at night........The whole place under here is too dark! I'm not stoping crying. I can't see anything. I stayed at the side and I balled into circled and cry.

"J-jinhwan, Why did y-you left me?" I sobbed hard then I heard weird thing at the side so I covered my ears and I closed my eyes and burried my head at my knees.

Jinhwan! I need you.......

I woke up and my tummy growled in hunger. I clutch my stomach. Then I heard someone at the top.

"Mingjoo!! Are you there?!" I heard Mom shouted. I run at the hole light and I yelled.

"Eomma!! I'm scared------AHHHH!!!" Then as I thought.........there is something that hit me Hard.

<jinhwan's Pov>

It's all my fault.......She's trapped under that hole and I didn't protect her.....

"You! It's all your fault!! It's your Grandson's fault!" I heard Mingjoo's Dad yelled at my Uncle. I just looked at the floor.

The next thing I knew was They are Punching each other. Auntie pulled me away there.

And...........I s-saw...........Uncle's Body bloody and when auntie checked it. He's dead.

"Uncle!!" I hugged him even though It has blood on him. Mingjoo's Dad left and I knew that my mom and dad eft with her dad. I clenched my fists into Anger.

I can't forgive you! I really can't! I'll revenge Mingjoo!
You're not my friend anymore!
........

I heard a news that Mingjoo got Rescued by the Hitler man. And she was in Hospital.

The hospital was next at our city side so I can go there by myself. I run there with anger written on my face.

Then I opened the door seeing Mingjoo'seyes open while staring at the ceiling and she's lying down not bothering to move.

I entered there and Thank god no one is here. Her head doesn't move but her eyes looks at me.

"J-jinhwan-nie" she whispers. I rolled my eyes and looked at her intensely while mad.

"So you've been rescued huh? I wish you didn't" I said and her eyes widened. She just stays in like that. She has staws at  her nose and Head aid.

"I wish you died! I wish I didn't be friends buddy with you! All you did to me was to hurt me! You are a burden to me! I'm now your enemy mingjoo. Your dad killed my uncle!! I would never Forget and I would never forgive you Mingjoo. We're Friendship Over, I don't care to you anymore. I hate you!!" I yelled my heart out while crying. I saw her not moving and she hasn't give me any reactions but she cried alot.

Even if it hurts me when she cried.........I need to do this...........
