He heard a knock in his room, and had a flip on his stomach. A void feeling entered his heart. The moment he opened the door, he knows something is not good looking at the two most vibrant ladies in silent way, following them their husbands.

"May I know the reason for your sudden silence?" He asked looking at his bossing friend's to his wife, son and daughter in law. All looked at him.

"I don't really know, how to ask you this. But, time waits for no man." His friend started and he had a sting feeling he knows where this speech is going. And he knows exactly well, he needs to take a decision should this talk happen or not. Noting his sudden change,

"I guess asking your property could be easy for us all?" his friend asked a stupid question, trying to change the topic to help him or cheer the atmosphere.

"You need my properties? I guess you guys have more than needed?" He laughed a little acting as if he still not gets the reason for their visit. But, except him and his friend, everyone didn't even cared to smile.

"Not your property even for a rupee. We have that enough to take care of ourselves and our future great grandchildren's too." His friend's wife said and he knows that the speech wouldn't be diverted this time.

"I know" he said as his friend looked at him for permission to continue.

"As you know that and also My..." Before he can continue. He smiled weakly and put his hand up to make him stop.

"I have a feeling I am going to love the reason for your visit. But, I could not like it this moment. The answer my heart wants to be said can't be said to make us all happy nor I can utter the answer my brain logics wants to say and hurt all of us.  Let the words be paused or ended. And I will welcome anything with smile." He said the words with great difficulty and last words with strained smile. And everyone looked at him stunned.

"this mean?" Asked his shocked friend. He looked down sadly confirming it.

"Is anything okay? Whatever steps we take for pausing or ending?" A bold, soft low and clear voice from daughter in law of his friend. The way the lady spoke, he knows it means business from the almost thirty year experience he has with her and like being his daughter.

He nodded very slightly. If they were all not giving him full attention, they couldn't said he nodded. "Last time, final time. Okay or not?" The women asked as she got from the table.

"Fine" He said a octave lower than her. The women smirked at his difficulties.

"Remember your word. We have some works to be taken care. It was nice meeting you." His friends wife said in clear cut voice with no emotion. And with a smile left with her daughter in law following her path leading with smiling evilly and happily. And their husbands followed them giving him a weak sad smile. As soon as the doors were closed. He locked himself and looking at his fate and thinking about future, which in two words,
secret adequacy.............................................

Swiping his thoughts away with smile, he opened the door letting the secret to reveal as time rolls for better...................................
