"Jamie back to our discussion, what is the good news, "I asked feeling curious.

"HarrietFrankproposedtomelastweeksaturday" Jamie replied so fast I couldn't even point out whatever she said.
"Will you please speak like a normal person" I said to her, Jamie was just behaving abnormally to the extent she was wiping the sweat off her forehead.
"Jam Jam are you ok and also why the sweat," I asked with concern for her.
"I'm okay, am just nervous about what I wanna tell you "She answered.
"Why will you be nervous, you said it is a good thing and like I said before am up for a piece of good news"I replied her.
"Ok...so like...how do I say...where should I start...so" Jamie kept on mumbling, I will murder this girl she is keeping me on edge...what does she want to tell me?
"Quit mumbling Jam Jam and go straight to the point, "I told her while pouting sadly...why can't she just tell me.
"Frank proposed to me "She replied fast.
First of all, I needed to process whatever she said.
"FRANK PROPOSED TO HER"
After I was done processing what she said I screamed silently at her not wanting to create a scene.
"Jam Jam did you just say what I heard," I said while giggling happily.
"Yes Harriet, Frank proposed to me at a dinner date".
"When did he propose, where and why are you just telling me now," I said firing questions at her.
"First of all, where...he proposed to me at a beach dinner date.
Secondly, when...on a Saturday night.
Lastly, why I did not inform you...I didn't want to disturb you since you had things going on that was why I decided to tell you at our coffee date since the guilt was eating me up too badly".
"Jam Jam you know I will always have time for you, so.... you are free to call me, meet me or summon me anytime you need to talk me ".

Several hours had already passed it was already getting dark a little bit. I decided to check my watch and I was not happy with what I saw "6:45".
"I'm in big trouble " I muttered under my breath I guess Jamie heard.
"Harriet what's wrong "
"I seriously lost track of the time it is 6:45 and Dave will be home by 7:30 and his dinner has not been made" I answered while rubbing my temples gently.
"Baby chill, no need to get all worked up, you guys can just order takeouts for today's dinner and just inform Dave you came to see me and that you lost track of time ".
"Jam Jam you don't understand!" I said getting frustrated.
"Baby don't tell me he beats if so, he will get whatever is coming"She replied with seriousness.
"Jam Jam he doesn't beat me but his words and insult are what hurts me a lot ".

I decided to check my watch like the first time I did not like what I saw "6:55".
I stood up from the seat, drank my whole cappuccino in a whole gulp, I gave Jamie a tight hug while telling her goodbye after I was done with the goodbye I hurriedly walked out of the coffee shop.
Shortly after I walked out of the coffee shop, I tried my best in looking for a bus which was going to my house route...I couldn't find any buses and I couldn't even call the house driver since I know he will be at Dave's office.
I finally concluded on walking since I had no other options on getting home. I check my watch and I hated what I saw "7:00" how?.
Since the walk to my house is 10 minutes if I should run or walk faster it could take me at least 8minutes to get home.

7minutes later;
I caught the view of my humble abode and I instantly ran toward it. I stepped into the compound, I immediately went to the porch to get my house keys which I hid there.
I opened the front door and to my luck, Dave has not arrived...(yay I danced in my head), so does that mean I ran all the way for nothing! my feet are aching.
"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN "
I guess I thought wrong.
