"What!" Randhir was shocked. "Yeh aap keya bol rahi ho di, Arpi ghar chhod kar chali gayi hain?" He asked shockingly.

"Haan, mujhe toh pata hi nehi tha aabhi mom ne bataya..." And before Ragini completed Randhir rushed to downstairs.

"Mom wo Arpi, Arpi ghar chhod kar chali gayi hain! Kab, kyu? Aapne use roka kyu nehi?" Randhir asked anxiously.

"Relax Randhir pehele pani pilo." Anjali said offering a glass of water as he was huffing badly.

"No bhabhi am okay, mom aap please bataiye na ke aapne Arpi ko roka kyu nehi?" Randhir asked impatiently.

"Cause mujhe nehi laga ke mujhe Arpita ko rokna chahiye tha." Renuka said normally.

"What! Mom Arpi ghar chhod kar chali gayi hain aur aapko uska aaise ghar chhod kar jana sahi laga!" Randhir asked shockingly.

"Relax Randhir, Arpita koi ghar chhod kar nehi gayi hain. London jane se pehle use aapne ghar mein kuch din rahena tha issi liye wo gayi hain, it's not a big deal." Renuka said coldly.

"Mom Arpi ne mujhe batana toh dur jane se pehele mili vi nehi aur aap bol rahi hain ke it's not a big deal!" Randhir said shockingly.

"Kyu tum uske guardian ho jo haar baat use tumse puch kar karni padegi? Chup chap breakfast karo aur office jau." Renuka said sternly. Just when Sanyukta and Ragini came down.

"Aare Sanyukta tum kahi jaa rahi ho wo vi iss waqt?" Renuka asked curiously.

"Je maa wo check up karwane." Sanyukta replied slowly.

"Keya check up, suddenly! Koi problem hain keya?" Renuka asked worriedly.

"Nehi maa koi problem nehi hain, formal check up hain bass, aap tension mat lijiye." Sanyukta assured her.

"Randhir chale?" Sanyukta asked to Randhir who was busy with his phone.

"Yeh Arpi phone kyu nehi utha rahi hain!" Randhir said annoyingly.

"Rono Sanyukta kuch puch rahi hain." Ragini said thus Randhir look up.

"Baki ka kaam baad mein vi ho sakta hain but aabhi Sanyukta ko check up ke liye leke jau." Renuka said firmly thus Randhir nodded.

"Yes mom." And he left with Sanyukta next.

                                 * * * * * * * * *

"Aare tum dono suddenly! Anything serious?" Karan asked surprisingly.

"Actually jiju main Goa jane wala hu toh socha jane se pehele ek bar Sanyukta ka check up karwa lau." Randhir replied.

"Great, jab aah hi gaye ho then check up kar lete hain. Also I have an excellent news for both of you." Karan said thus both Sanyukta and Randhir looked at him.

"Keya news jiju?" Randhir asked curiously.

"The news is Sanyukta now on her second trimester so we can go for an ultrasonography. That means you guys can see your baby now." Karan said thus both Randhir and Sanyukta smiled brightly.

Sanyukta was taken inside for the ultrasound and Karan called Randhir too.

"Aare Randhir aandar aao na you are the father, don't you excited to see the baby inside your wife?" Karan asked when Randhir felt awkward.

Yes he wanted to see their baby but he didn't know that if Sanyukta was allowing him or not! Obviously they were sharing some intimate moments still he was not sure so he looked at her for her permission and she blinked her eyes as a permission confirming that she had no issues if he comes in too and that makes him happy too when he smiled a little silently thanking her.

Sanyukta was laying on the bed with a cloth covering her as Karan started with the ultrasound. Randhir concentrated on the screen and waited to see their baby. The moment was really blissful for both when they saw their baby on the screen breathing slowly and trying to kick the mother's stomach walls. Randhir smiled brightly and looked at Sanyukta and saw her smiling too looking at the screen.

"Do you want to know is there a girl or boy? I can tell you the gender Randhir, only if you both wish to know." Karan asked them.

Randhir looked at Sanyukta and gestured her through his eyes for her answer when she nodded a no. Randhir understand that she wanted this to be a surprise for both of them till her delivery and he respected her decision.

"Nehi jiju hume aabhi nehi janna. We want to keep it as a surprise till the delivery." Randhir said when Karan smiled.

"The baby is growing fast Sanyukta and all is good. You just take the medicines on time, eat healthy and have plenty of rest and don't take any tension." Karan said thus Sanyukta nodded positively.

"Okay anything else?" Karan asked thus Sanyukta looked at Randhir.

"Jiju all okay na, koi complications toh nehi hain na?" Randhir asked hesitatingly.

"Aare Randhir aabhi tumhare samne hi toh check up kiya!" Karan said surprisingly thus Randhir nodded.

"Any problem Randhir? Kuch aur puchna chahate ho?" Karan asked noticing his hesitation.

"Actually jiju wo aapne kaha tha ke if we want then hum dono pati-patni ki tarha, I mean koi problem toh nehi hogi na?" Randhir asked hesitatingly when Sanyukta was embarrassed.

"Randhir I already told you that you guys can carry on your sex life till 7 month of Sanyukta's pregnancy." Karan's answer made the couple embarrassed when Randhir left with Sanyukta next.

The return journey was very quiet when Sanyukta was looking outside and Randhir was concentrating driving only.

"Tumne jijaji se directly wo baat kyu pucha?" Sanyukta asked all of a sudden.

"Aab indirectly question kaise puchte hain I don't know." Randhir replied making her mouth shut.

"Don't worry it's a normal question for a professional doctor, you don't have to be embarrass." Randhir said thus Sanyukta nodded. Soon they reached at the mansion and Randhir dropped her.

Sanyukta entered at the mansion and saw Renuka was sitting at the hall.

"Maa." Sanyukta called her and almost rushed towards her.

"Aare aahista beta, baat keya hain? Why are you in hurry!" Renuka asked surprisingly.

"Wo maa aaj na maine aapne baby ko dekha. Jijaji ne ultrasound kiya toh monitor mein dekha maine." Sanyukta said excitedly thus Renuka smiled brightly.

"You know what maa she was trying to kick." Sanyukta smiled brightly.

"She! Do you people check the baby's gender?" Renuka asked surprisingly.

"Nehi maa, wo Randhir ko beti chahiye and he is sure ke beti hi hogi." Sanyukta said slowly.

"Aur tumhe keya chahiye?" Renuka asked.

"Maa beta yeah beti I won't care bass healthy ho mujhe bass yehi chahiye." Sanyukta replied thus Renuka smiled happily.

Anjali and Ragini came down when Sanyukta shared the news with them too. All became happy and shared own experience too. Just when Anjali's phone buzzed with Rajveer's number.

"Hello haan Rajveer bolo." Anjali said pick up the phone.

"Hello Anjali Randhir waha par hain keya?" Rajveer asked over the phone.

"Nehi Randhir toh yeha nehi hain." Anjali replied thus Sanyukta looked at her.

"Randhir Sanyukta ko leke Karan ke pass geya tha aabhi tak wapas nehi aaya?" Rajveer asked surprisingly.

"Nehi Sanyukta toh wapas aah gayi hain, lekin baat keya hain?" Anjali asked thus increasing Sanyukta's curiosity.

"Aare Randhir aabhi tak office nehi aaya, dad bahut naraz hain. Koi itna unprofessional kaise ho sakta hain! Tum zara Sanyukta ko phone dena." Rajveer said thus Anjali gave the phone to Sanyukta.

"Yeh lo Rajveer tumse baat karna chahata hain." Anjali said thus Sanyukta took the phone.

"Hello bhaiya."

"Hello Sanyukta, tumhe pata hain ke Randhir kaha hain? Na toh wo office aaya hain aur nahi aapna phone utha raha hain!" Rajveer asked straight.

"Nehi bhaiya, Randhir toh mujhe ghar drop karke chala geya, I thought ke office geya hoga. Lekin aagar office nehi geya toh phir kaha geya?" Sanyukta asked the last line to herself.

"Yeh ladka na ek din sabko marwayega! Okay aagar uska phone laag jaye toh bolna ke jaldi se office aah jaye." Rajveer said anxiously.

"Ji bhaiya." Sanyukta said and cut the call.

"Keya huya?" Renuka asked curiously.

"Wo Randhir aabhi tak office nehi geya, bhaiya bahut tensed hain." Sanyukta replied.

"God! Yeh ladka kab responsible hoga? Sanyukta tum phone karo use." Renuka said thus Sanyukta called Randhir but each time the phone went unanswered.

"Aakhir Randhir hain kaha?" Sanyukta said to herself curiously.

                               * * * * * * * * *

Randhir's car was running fast on the busy streets of Mumbai. He took out his phone and dialled a number but it's went unanswered again.

"Pick up the phone damn it." He said angrily when running the car fast.

Soon his car stopped in front of a huge villa. He came out from the car and pressed the door bell in hurry. After sometimes the door got open and Arpita became shocked to saw Randhir in front of her. Randhir also shocked to saw Arpita. Her messy hair, fallen face, red puffy eyes indicating that she must be crying the whole night. Randhir felt bad to saw her in that state.

"Ron what are you doing here?" Arpita asked surprisingly thus he came back to his senses.

"What I am doing here? What are you doing here haan? Dimag kharab ho geya hain keya tera, aaise aachanak bina bataye ghar chhod kar aah gayi!" Randhir asked angrily.

"I took permission from aunty." She said slowly.

"Ohh just shut up, mom's permission was not enough. Do you understand! And why didn't you receive my phone calls?" Randhir asked furiously.

"I don't feel like." Arpita said calmly thus Randhir became shocked.

"Okay leave all this you are coming with me right now. Where are your luggage main le aata hu." Randhir said and about to go upstairs but stopped by Arpita next.

"You go Ron am not coming. Before leaving for UK I wanted to stay here." She said calmly.

"Listen Arpi am not in a mood of arguing, you are coming with me right now." Randhir said pulling Arpita's hand when she jerked it off.

"Stop it Ron, just stop it. Enough is enough now." Arpita said in a shrill voice this Randhir became shocked.

"What do you think about yourself Ron, humesha sirf tumhara hi mannmani chalegi, tum jo marzi wohi karoge aur main tumhara puppet bann kar rahungi then listen to me very carefully, No. I am not a doll Ron jise tum aapne mood ke hisab se kheloge. This is my life aur main wohi karungi jo meri marzi hain na ki tumhara, do you understand!" Arpita said furiously thus Randhir became shocked. He can't believe that her bestie say something like that, that to him.

"What are you talking Arpi; puppet, doll! Aare you are my bestfriend, my childhood friend, my bestie. I care for you. You hold a very special place in my life and you are talking all this!" Randhir said shockingly.

"Care! Place! Yeah right. Tell me one thing Ron where are your care when one fine day you gave my place to that Sanyukta? Not in your house but in your life too?" Arpita asked when Randhir became shocked.

"Arpi please don't be childish, you both are equally important for me." Randhir said slowly.

"Ohh is that so, tell me Ron jaisa tum Sanyukta ke liye feel karte ho keya wohi mere liye fell karte ho?" Arpita asked thus Randhir became shocked.

"Arpi please try to understand ke tum dono ka jagah aalag hain, Sanyukta is my wife and you are my friend. But you both are special." Randhir said helplessly when Arpita forced a smile.

"Special!" Arpita smiled sadly.

"Special toh tum thay mere liye Ron, itna special ke maine kabhi kisi aur ke taraf dekha tak nehi. I always believe that we belongs to each other but you broke my trust brutally Ron. Not only my trust but my heart and the reason of my life. You ruined everything Ron." And tears rolled down from her eyes making Randhir numb for a second.

"No Arpi I don't broke your trust. I swear I don't have any idea about your feelings, trust me. Please come back with me. I don't want to lose you." Randhir said helplessly.

"You don't want me anymore Ron you want Sanyukta cause you love her. And I love you Ron and I can't see you with that Sanyukta anymore, that's why I left mansion." Arpita said straight.

"This is not love Arpi, it's just an infatuation. It's happened. You just attracted towards me then, it's not love at all." Randhir tried to convince her when she looked at him.

"Are you sure Ron that it's just an infatuation?" Arpita asked suddenly.

"Of course Arpi, aare teri age hi keya hain aur iss age mein aaisa sabke saath hota hain. Aare pehela pyar toh galat insan ke saath hi hota hain. Tu dekhna jiss din tujhe aapna dream boy mill jayega tu sab kuch bhul jayegi. Just wait and watch. Now please come back with me, please." Randhir said confidently.

"Okay I'll come with you." Arpita said thus Randhir smiled brightly. "But I have a condition." She added.

"Jo vi tu kahegi, just come back with me." Randhir said with a smile.

"Give divorce to Sanyukta." Arpita said when Randhir's smile got vanished.

"What?" He asked shockingly.

"Yes Ron, aagar tum Sanyukta ko divorce dene ke liye ready ho toh phir main tumhare saath mansion wapas chalne ke liye ready hu." Arpita said making Randhir shocked.

"Are you out of your mind Arpi? I love Sanyukta and you know that." Randhir said shockingly.

"No Ron it's not love, it's an infatuation. You just attract towards her. Once she left you will understand that." Arpita said calmly.

"No Arpi it's not an infatuation, my love for Sanyukta is real." Randhir said impatiently.

"So that mine Ron. My love for you is real not an infatuation." Arpita said in an icy cold voice thus Randhir became short of words.

"Arpi please try to understand." Randhir started to explain something but stopped by Arpita next.

"Okay am making the things simple for you Ron. You have to choose one, either me or Sanyukta." Arpita said coldly thus Randhir looked at her shockingly.

"Arpi please don't do this. Don't make things complicated." He pleaded.

"Am making the things easy Ron. You have to choose one, either me or Sanyukta. Now choice is yours." Arpita said sternly when Randhir sighed.

"Arpi you are my best friend and will always be my best friend but you have to understand that there can't be any kind of condition between friendship and love. I love Sanyukta that too unconditional and won't leave her in any condition." Randhir replied making Arpita stunned and about to go but stopped next.

"Arpi I wish one day you will understand that what is friendship and true love and that day I'll get back my bestie I hope. Till then goodbye." Randhir said and left from there next leaving Arpita in a pool of tears.

                               * * * * * * * * *

Randhir entered at the house when he met with Renuka.

"Randhi where were you? Rajveer ka kabse call aah raha hain aur tum office mein kyu nehi ho?" Renuka asked surprisingly.

"Mom wo Arpita ke ghar geya tha use wapas lane but wo nehi aayi." He replied slowly.

"What Arpita, tumne iss wajah se office skip kiya! Are you out of your mind! Do you have any idea ke Harsh kitna gussa karenge!" Renuka said shockingly.

"Please mom don't overreact am not in a mood to handle this." Randhir said feeling low.

"What am overreacting!" Renuka said loudly.

"Mom please baad mein baat karte hain." Randhir said slowly and turned to go.

"Randhir stop, am talking to you. What did you just say that am overreacting! How dare you." Renuka said angrily.

"Mom please later. Now am really tired." Randhir said again and left next without saying anything.

Randhir came to the terrace and sat down on a chair. He was mentally tired after what happened and wanted some fresh air to breath. He was sitting there silently when he felt a soft touch on his shoulder. He turned his face and saw Sanyukta there.

"Yeha par keya kar rahe ho?" Sanyukta asked surprisingly when Randhir nodded a no.

"Baat keya hain, office vi nehi gaye phone vi nehi utha rahe thay, kaha thay tum?" Sanyukta asked curiously.

"Sanyukta aabhi baat karne ka mood nehi hain, baad mein baat karte hain please." Randhir said in a low voice.

"But Randhir baat keya hain yeh toh batao! Kitne saare calls kiye tumhe lekin tumne ek ka vi jawab nehi diya. Pata hain kitna tension ho rahi thi mujhe!" Sanyukta said anxiously when Randhir's last thread of patience broke.

"Toh phir main keya karu, maine kaha tha tension karne ke liye? Tum aapne kaam se kaam nehi rakh sakti, kisne kaha tha tumhe phone karne ke liye?" Randhir said furiously when Sanyukta became stunned by his behavior.

"Randhir I was worried for you." Sanyukta said surprisingly.

"Kyu worried hone ki keya baat hain! Baccha hu main jise tum babysitting karogi? Tum ladkiyo ko ek baat ek baar mein samajh mein nehi aata hain keya? Phone par phone kiye jaa rahi thi! Utha nehi raha hu matlab busy hu itna vi aakal nehi hain tum mein? Yeah aakal aayegi vi kaise ghutne par jo hain aakal!" Randhir said angrily when Sanyukta was verge of tears.

"You know what mujhe tumse koi baat nehi karni hain just get lost from here." Randhir said furiously when Sanyukta left from there slowly and Randhir regret next.

                               * * * * * * * * *

"Di Sanyukta kaha hain?" Randhir asked to Ragini. He was looking for Sanyukta but didn't found her anywhere at the mansion.

"Aapne room mein hogi yeah phir baccho ke room mein." Ragini replied.

"Nehi di maine pura ghar dhunda but mujhe Sanyukta kahi nehi mill rahi hain." Randhir said anxiously.

"Relax, ghar mein hi hogi kaha jayegi! Tu thik se dekh." Ragini said and left from there.

"Relax! Wohi toh nehi kar sakta. Pata nehi kaha hogi and am sure bahut naraz hogi, maine kaam hi aaisa kiya!" Randhir shook his head and came to their room but didn't found her there.

"Sanyukta where are you, kamse kam phone toh utha lo." He said calling her but it's went unheard again. He sighed when a piece of paper caught his attention. He took it and when he read it his world stopped there.

"Main ghar chhod kar jaa rahi hu Randhir phir kabhi tumhe tang karne nehi aayungi. Aab tum aapni life aapni marzi se jeena main tumhe babysitting nehi karungi. Aapna dhyan rakhna aur khush rahena. Goodbye.  -Sanyukta"

And Randhir froze there after reading the latter.

                               * * * * * * * * *

"Parth where are you, jaha vi hain immediately nikal, it's urgent." Randhir said over the phone.

"Aare main office mein hu baat keya hain?" Parth asked curiously.

"Sanyukta ghar chhod kar chali gayi hain." Randhir replied nervously.

"What?" Parth almost screamed thus Roja looked at him confusingly.

"Sanyukta ghar chhod kar chali gayi!" Hearing this Roja became shocked too. "Tune keya kiya hain Randhir?" Parth asked sternly.

"Wo-wo main thoda upset tha aur upor se Sanyukta mera dimag kha rahi thi toh maine vi gusse mein get lost bol diya." Randhir sounds guilty. "But I didn't mean it, gusse mein toh log keya kuch nehi bol dete hain but that doesn't mean ke wo ghar chhod kar hi chali jaye!" Randhir said slowly.

"Randhir thoda sa common sense nehi hain keya tujh mein? Don't you know ke pregnancy mein ek ladki kitni moody hoti hain, uska harmone levels kitna high hota hain! Aaise mein use pyar se samjhane ke wajahye tune use get lost bol diya! How could you?" Parth said furiously.

"Parth am sorry, okay tu mujhe 2 chata maar lena but now please help me to find Sanyukta. Don't know kaha chali gayi hain!" Randhir said worriedly.

"Okay okay main nikalta hu office se tu vi nikal." Parth said in hurry.

"Okay, bye." Randhir cut the phone and left from the mansion next.

"Miss D'Souza am leaving, ek urgent kaam hain. Tum saare meetings postponed kar do." Parth said grabbing his coat.

"Sir what happened, where is Sanyukta?" Roja asked worriedly.

"Don't know, wo idiot Randhir gusse mein use kuch bol diya aur Sanyukta naraz hoke ghar chhod kar chali gayi hain." Parth said anxiously.

"Sir if you don't have any problem can I come with you?" Roja asked thus Parth looked at her surprisingly.

"Tum chalogi?" Parth asked curiously.

"Yes sir. Sanyukta is my friend too. Yeha rahungi toh tension hogi better aapke saath chalu." Roja said thus Parth nodded positively and they left next.

                              * * * * * * * * *

Randhir's car stopped in front of Sanyukta's house and he came out from the car. He was hesitated a little but still pressed the bell when chanting some prays under his breath. After sometimes the door got open and Anju came out. She was surprised to saw Randhir there.

"Aare beta tum, aao aandar aao." Anju was surprised a little and happy too.

"Koi kaam tha beta?" Anju asked when Randhir was still hesitating.

"Achchha Sanyu kaisi hain? Kitne din ho gaye hain use dekha tak nehi." Anju said when Randhir looked at her surprisingly.

"Keya Sanyukta yeha nehi aayi?" Randhir asked shockingly when Anju became shocked.

"Nehi toh, Sanyu toh yeah nehi aayi. Kyu aane wali thi?" Anju asked curiously.

"Actually maa wo baat yeh hain ke Sanyukta kahi chali gayi hain." Randhir replied when Anju became shocked.

"Keya, kaha gayi hain Sanyu?" She asked shockingly.

"Pata nehi maa, bass ek letter chhod kar gayi hain." Randhir replied slowly.

"Lekin kyu?" Anju asked shockingly.

"Galti meri hi hain maa. Maine gusse mein use jane ko bola tha but mujhe nehi pata tha ke wo aaisa kuch karegi. Saach mein ghar chhod kar chali jayegi!" Randhir said slowly.

"Mujhe laga ke wo yeha aayi hogi issi liye aaya tha, lekin..." He stopped in middle.

"Sanyu yeha nehi aayi hain beta aur na kabhi aayegi." Anju said thus Randhir looked at her shockingly.

"Maine hi use bola tha ke aagar iss ghar mein aana hain toh aapne pati ke saath aana warna mat aana. Meri bacchi bahut sensitive hain, jaldi hi baat ko aapne dil se laga leti hain. Pata nehi aaisi halat mein kaha kaha bhatak rahi hogi." Anju said wiping her tears.

"Haan maa Sanyukta is very sensitive, jald hi bura maan jati hain aur phir galti toh meri hain." Randhir said feeling guilty.

"Beta please meri Sanyu ko wapas le aau. Main tumse kabhi kuch nehi mangungi." Anju said holding Randhir's hand.

"Don't worry maa main Sanyukta ko sahi salamat wapas le aayunga. I promise." Randhir said and left from there next.

Randhir came and sat inside his car. He was confused with his next step when his phone buzzed with Parth's number.

"Hello Randhir wo Sanyukta ka pata chal geya hain." Parth said thus Randhir take a relief of sigh.

"Pata chal geya, kaha hain wo?" Randhir asked curiously.

"Sanyukta Mata ki mandir mein hain tu jaldi se waha pahuch." Parth informed him thus Randhir felt relieved.

"But tujhe kaise pata?" His curious mind asked the question.

"Bhai GPS naam ka vi koi chess hoti hain duniya mein!" Parth taunted him.

"Haan wo itni tension mein mere dimag se nikal geya tha." Randhir said slowly.

"Okay come quickly, bye." And Parth cut the phone.

Soon Randhir's car reached at the temple. He came out when Parth and Roja too reached there.

"Kaha hain Sanyukta?" Randhir asked impatiently.

"GPS ke mutabik wo mandir ki aandar hi hain." Parth said thus Randhir became relaxed but his face became stiffen next.

"Tum dono yehi ruko main dekhta hu." Randhir said sternly.

"Don't say that you are going to blast on her." Parth said surprisingly.

"Usne jo vi kiya keya uske liye main use chhod dunga! Khud ka toh chhodo bacche ke ware mein vi nehi socha! Am not going to spare her this time." Randhir said clenching his jaw.

"Randhir Sanyukta ko kuch bolne se pehele yeh socho ke tumne uske saath keya kiya! Galti pehele tumhara tha aur tum wohi galti phirse repeat karne jaa rahe ho." Roja said thus Randhir became short of words.

"Yeah she is right Randhir and suddenly tujhe keya huya! Phone par toh bahut sorry sorry bol raha tha aabhi aachanak se yeh angry young man kaise bann geya! And remember aabhi mera 2 chata baki hain. So tu aakela aandar nehi jayega hum vi saath chalenge, understand." Parth said sternly.

"But!" Randhir wasn't still convince.

"Okay okay hum aandar jayenge lekin dur khade rahenge, tu usse aakela baat karna okay!" Parth said when Randhir became agreed and the trio entered at the temple.
