Part 6

In the hall:

HP came and said Breakfast is ready to serve. Everyone got up to go but Arnav said" Di. I have an important meeting in the office. I will leave"

"But Chote. Your breakfast" said Anjali.

"I will have it in the office Di " said Arnav.

"Arnavji" Khushi called him softly. Arnav was elated to hear her voice calling him for the first time.

He looked at her. She had a box in her hand.

"I have packed your breakfast." Said Khushi giving it to him. He took it from her.

"you did a good thing Khushiji" said Anjali.

Khushi just smiled to her saying" How can I send him with empty stomach Di ?? He informed me yesterday night only that he had an important meeting, so he won't be for breakfast"

All nodded their heads while Arnav is confused. No one din't know that he is going for meeting except him and Akash. He looked at Payal who assured him with her eyes.

So , she made Khushi pack breakfast and give to him thought Arnav.

"Ok Di. Now I will leave" said Arnav.

"Wait Chote" said Anjali.

"Now. What Di ?? I am getting late "said Arnav.

But Anjali not listening to him turned to Khushi said" Khushiji. you din't fill your maang today"

" woo. I forget Di in hurry. I will go now" Khushi is going but Anjali stopped her and signaled to Payal.

Payal went into mandir and brought sindoor box.

"Chote. fill Khushiji's maang" said Anjali.

Both Arnav and Khushi looked at each other expressionless.

"Chote.." called Anjali again.

Arnav faking a smile took a pinch of sindoor and applied on Khushi's maang. Anjali gave a satisfied look to them.

"Shall I move now ??'asked Arnav.

"Ok. You can go. But have your breakfast. Don't forget" said Anjali.

Arnav went from there assuring her. Everyone headed towards dining hall while Khushi and Payal into kitchen.

Khushi touched her maang with a sulky face which din't go unnoticed by Payal. Even when she asked to give breakfast also, she kept the same face. she felt something fishy.

In Office:

ASR's cabin:

Arnav returned from his meeting and relaxed in his chair. Someone Knocked the door and he asked to come in. He looked at Akash.

"Bhai. I need your sign in these papers" said Akash.

Arnav signed them and gave them.

Seeing the box on his table, Akash said" Bhai. You still din't have your breakfast. Have it first"

"Ok "said Arnav. Akash left from there.

Arnav thought to open the box but refrained himself.

" Don't know what she mixed in it. she mixed salt in the coffee now in this" thought Arnav and finally dared to open the box.

He found parathas with curry. He just took little amount of it and tasted it. It was good.

"But who knows if she mixed something in it. she is capable of doing it. I can't take risk" thought Arnav. He called the peon and ordered for his breakfast from cafeteria.

He saw Akash again coming towards his cabin.. so he willingly pushed the carrier box so that food fell on the floor.

"Bhai..."Akash entered the cabin and saw the mess.

" It accidentally happened " said Arnav.

"Shall I Order something for you Bhai ??"asked Akash.

"Nope. I have already ordered" said Arnav.

"ok Bhai. I just came to give you this file" said Akash and went from there.

Soon peon arrived with food and cleaned the mess.

Arnav had his breakfast thinking" Don't know what all I have to do because of this girl.. until now I din't feared for anyone now and mostly I din't lied to Akash nor to anyone but today... Dammit what's her problem with me"

In the evening:

Arnav and Akash returned from office.. They both directly went to their respective rooms..Arnav entered into his room.. Khushi is nowhere to be seen.

He went into washroom to change. When he came out, HP came with his coffee. He sat down checking his mobile sipping his coffee..

Just then Khushi entered the room with a lot of bags in her hand. It is evident from that she went for shopping..

Ignoring him, she went towards her cupboard and arranging everything... HP came with her coffee..

After he left, Khushi went near Arnav..

"Mr.Raizada. " called Khushi. Arnav just looked at her..

" Did you enjoyed your Breakfast ??"asked Khushi.

Arnav din't say anything..

" I Know you must have thinking that I packed it for you but you assumption is wrong because I din't packed it. Payal packed it and asked me to give you. So don't expect more.. I am not going to give anything to you by hands " said Khushi.

Arnav stood up before her " You could have informed earlier that it is not prepared by you but Payal. Thinking it is packed by you, not dared to take any risk.. I willingly threw it on the floor. I ordered for breakfast from cafeteria."

Khushi gave him an unbelievable look.

"If you still have any doubt, you can even ask Akash. He is the witness for the food wasted. Do you think I would lag behind you even after knowing you love Dhruv and considers him as husband.. I too have some self respect.. I don't believe you. " said Arnav .

Khushi annoyed for his counter while Arnav smirked seeing her reaction..

When Khushi is going to leave, Arnav asked her to stop. She turned and looked at him.

"I Know you hates me and loves to hurt me. you don't want to be a good wife for me.. I don't have any issues with it but atleast try to be a good DIL for this house.. Never dare to hurt anyone of my family. I won't tolerate it.. " said Arnav sternly.

Khushi looked at him with shocked with the base of his voice.. Then recovering it from it said" Good that you soon realized that I don't want to be a good wife for you. Regarding family, you don't worry about it. I will never hurt anyone because I consider it as my family.... It is Dhruv's family which means it is my family... Also from when you started taking care of your family.."

Arnav looked at her confused as well as puzzled..

"What do you mean ??"asked Arnav.

"Leave it" said Khushi and went from there leaving an confused Arnav..
