Part 30

Arnav reached office after his encounter with Khushi. Even Khushi too reached the office. Aman assigned her some work and she is busy in her cabin.

In the office Arnav's thoughts drive to morning's incident. He is totally confused of Khushi's behaviour.. The way she talked with him seemed to be different. What must have happened ?? thought Arnav.. But shrugging off his thoughts, he soon immersed in work.

Whole day, even Khushi too is busy with work. Aman loaded her with lot of works. He asked her to report to him than Arnav. He is cross checking her work once again. She clearly understood Aman's intentions. But she can't do anything. If she sits there feeling hurt by their behavior of suspecting her, then she can't win her husband. Also, the hurt which she is experiencing now is not that great than the hurt which she gave to her husband.

In the evening:

Khushi left for the home as the office timings are over. Arnav stayed back. He had this habit always.

Arnav reached home. Like yesterday his clothes were placed on the bed.. I have to find out who is doing this thought Arnav and went into washroom to change.

After coming out of washroom, he shouted for HP to bring juice for him. HP arrived with juice and placed it on the table, left from there.

Khushi entered into the room. Arnav got busy in looking files he forgot about juice. Khushi is sitting on the bed stealing glances at him which Arnav is aware off...Later he sipped the juice. After three to four sips HP came there with ironed clothes to handover to Khushi.

"HP. Juice is very tasty today. You improved a lot" said Arnav.

"woo Arnav Bhai. Juice is not made by me" said HP.

"Then who made it ?? Di!!"asked Arnav.

" I made it" said Khushi.. Arnav looked at her startled and then at HP who nodded as yes.

He kept the glass immediately back on the table. HP left from there..

"Why are you not drinking ??"asked Khushi but Arnav din't replied to her.. She asked for three to four times but he din't respond to her which made her hurt.

"I know you must be thinking that I mixed something in it.. But no Arnavji believe me.. I din't mix anything in it..How I have to make you believe" said Khushi and then taking the glass drank the whole juice.. Arnav looked at her with wide eyed.

After drinking Khushi said" See Arnavji. I am fine. Atleast now believe me. I din't mix anything in it"

"Mrs.Raizada. There are no one watching us. So no need for you to fake all these.. You said you din't even give me a glass of water with your hands then how come this juice" said Arnav.

Khushi is going to say something but Arnav said" woo. I got it.. May be Di or Nani must have heard me calling for juice to HP. So they asked you to make it.. Sorry for causing inconvenience to you Mrs.Raizada" and Arnav left from there to poolside while Khushi stood there controlling her tears..

Next morning:

Arnav as usual came from jogging.. He asked HP and Di about his clothes but both said they don't know about it.. He is confused who would do this.. He went into the washroom to take bath..

Then Khushi immediately entered the room.. She walked to his closet and took off his clothes and started placing them on the bed..

"So.. It is you who is doing all these "Came Arnav's voice which startled her. She turned and looked at him.. Arnav came near her slowly..

"Why are you doing all these ??"asked Arnav..

" It is a wife's duty to arrange husband's things" said Khushi calmly...

"Wife and Husband !! Who are wife and husband here ??"asked Arnav making Khushi shocked..

"You and me" said Khushi composing herself.

Arnav looked at her confused for few seconds and then said" Mrs.Raizada. I am not Dhruv.. I am ASR... Seems like you are hallucinating him in my place"

" I am not hallucinating anyone. I know I am Mrs. ASR" said Khushi..

Now Arnav is totally confused as well as frustrated..

"Did you bang your head somewhere ??"asked Arnav..

"No Arnavji. I am perfectly fine" said Khushi..

"Then why are you doing all this ?? What do you want" asked Arnav with a little anger..

" I am doing this all because it's my duty as a wife.." said Khushi..

"Why soo much change suddenly ??"asked Arnav..

"Humans will change Arnavji " said Khushi folding the blanket..

"I don't need your service" said Arnav..

" I don't know whether you care or not but I won't deprive from my duties as a wife because you are my husband " said Khushi

Arnav stood there confused totally with her new behaviour.. What is going on in her mind thought Arnav..

In the office, Arnav and Khushi both are busy with their respective works. Khushi, finally thought to say everything to Arnav and apologize to him. She thought to ask for a chance to make their marriage work.

In the evening:

Khushi is in the kitchen when HP informed her that Arnav arrived. Thinking to talk with him, she went upstairs.

Arnav came out of the washroom changing into his normals. She closed the door and locked it while Arnav looked at her confused.

Khushi came towards him taking baby steps.

"What ??"asked Arnav looking at her..

"I need to talk with you" said Khushi. Arnav nodded his head as if to say.

"woo. Arnavji. The thing is.." Khushi is going to say when Arnav's phone rang. He looked at the unknown number , excused himself and left to poolside. Khushi stood there frustrated on the person who called him.

Completing the call, Arnav came into the room. Khushi saw his changed expressions.. Then he looked at Khushi.

"We need to go. Come with me" said Arnav.

"But Arnavji. I want to talk with you about " Khushi is saying something but Arnav cutoff" Not now Khushi. Just come with me now"

Khushi nodded her head and silently followed him.. Arnav came into the hall where Anjali, Nani , Mami and Payal are present.

"Chote. What happened ??"asked Anjali seeing his hurried nature.

"Di. you all have to come with me now" said Arnav.

"But where ??" asked Anjali.

"You will soon come to know. Trust me and come" said Arnav.

"OK Chote. Atleast give us five minutes to get ready" said Anjali

"Di. Not needed.. This is not the time to explain. Come with me immediately.." said Arnav and walked towards the door shouting the driver to remove the car for them.

Though confused, everyone followed him leaving their works.. when they came out, Arnav is already beside driver in the car waiting for them.

"Hurry up" said Arnav looking at them. All sat in the car. They felt Arnav's behaviour weird. They all asked a lot of questions during journey but Arnav simply said you will come to know soon. In between he called Akash and asked him to come to address he texted to him.

After nearly 20 minutes, Arnav stopped the car infront of hospital. He got down from the car and signaled others too to get down, then he asked driver to park the car.

"Chote. Why you brought us here ??" asked Nani.

"haan Chote. Is everything Ok ?? Shyamji, Akash are ok naa" said Anjali.

" Relax Di. Everything is fine" said Arnav checking his phone. He talked over the phone and walked into the hospital while all followed him blindly.

Arnav reached the third floor and went towards a room. A person is sitting there outside the room. Seeing them, he stood up.

"ASR ??" asked the person to Arnav.

"yes. Are you the one who called me ??" asked Arnav.

"yes. I am Nand Kishore. Everyone calls me NK" said the person.

"Chote. Who is he ??'asked Anjali.

Ignoring her, Arnav asked to NK" Where is my brother ??"

NK showed the room beside him. Arnav went into the room and everyone followed him into the room only to get shock.

There before them is lying Dhruv Singh Raizada on the bed with his one leg , head bandaged and some more few wounds on him.
