Part 28

In the evening too Khushi placed all his things on the bed before Arnav returns from office.. He saw it and neglected them.. He took out another pair of clothes and wore it.. The same repeated next morning too..

Arnav arrived late from office at night only to avoid Khushi.. When he entered the room, he saw Khushi sleeping on the recliner.. Seems like she is waiting for him.. He silently changed his dress and slept on the bed..

Next morning when Khushi woke up Arnav already got ready for office.. She looked at him confused.. She remembered how she was waiting for him and dozed off.. Now he even woke up before her and got ready without her help..

This all continued for next three days.. Arnav leaves for office early and comes almost night to home.. Khushi very well understood he is doing all this to avoid her.. Now what she has to do ?? hey devimayya show me a way to be with Arnavji prayed Khushi to devimayya..

Next evening, Arnav came home a bit early at 8 pm. He had dinner with his family and sat down at poolside working on his lappy.. Khushi entered the room and started to set the bed.. She is thinking a way to be with Arnav..

Just then she heard Arnav talking on phone with Aman.

"Aman. Give an advertisement in news paper that ASR wants a new PA" said Arnav.

"Yes Aman... Nita is going to resign as her marriage is fixed.. She just now informed me.." said Arnav..

"yes do it soon. In two days.. " said Arnav and disconnected the call.

Khushi thought for while and an idea strucked her mind.. Smiling to herself, she thought" Thank you devimayya showing me a way.. Arnavji.. See now.. You can't escape from me"

Next day:

At the breakfast table:

Everyone are present except Anjali. Khushi and Payal are serving everyone. Arnav already left for office.

"Jijaji. Where is Di ??"asked Akash.

"She is in the room. Will be coming" said Shyam. Just then they saw Anjali coming towards them. Her face is looking soo happy. Then she stopped on her tracks holding her head and is going to fall on the floor but Shyam rushed there and hold her from falling down..

All came there hurriedly. Shyam lifted her and went to their room, placed on the bed. he took water and sprinkled on her..

Anjali got conscious and opened her eyes. She saw her whole family standing tensed for her. she smiled and got up.

"RS. Are you ok ??"asked Shyam.

"Haan Shyamji. I am fine" said Anjali.

"I will call doctor." Said Akash taking out his mobile.

"NO No Akash. I am fine. It is common in this stage" said Anjali.

"Stage ?? What Stage ??'asked Shyam.

Then Anjali cupping Shyam's face said "Shyamji. You are going to be father"

For a moment, everyone stopped reacting. Mamiji is the first one to come out of the shock.

"HHBB. Anjali Bitiya.. Is it true ??"asked Mamiji. Everyone came out of the trance.

"Haan Mamiji. Doctor confirmed it "said Anjali blushing.

" What ?? You even visited doctor but din't dared to inform me" said Shyam with little anger.

"Shyamji. I just got a doubt about it. I don't want to disappoint you if the result is negative. So I din't informed you. Just now doctor called me and confirmed it. I am sorry" said Anjali.

Shyam nodded her head.

"HHBB. What are you both seeing ?? Go and bring sweets" said mami looking at Khushi and Payal which they both obeyed.

"Congrats Di. I am going to be mama" said Akash hugging Anjali.

"Anjali Bitiya. What did doctor say ?? is everything fine ??'asked Nani.

" Doctor asked me to come in the evening for checkup. Then she will say me about baby and how many weeks the baby is" said Anjali.

"OK. We both will go in the evening" said Shyam.

Khushi and Payal brought sweets, distributed to everyone.

"After soo many years, a baby is coming into the house" said Nani. Anjali too nodded her head.

"Haan Nani. My Dhruv is coming back to me" said Anjali caressing her tummy. Nani and Mami smiled while others sulked hearing it.

"Di. Come now. Let's have breakfast" said Akash and they all moved to dining area.

Khushi's lost in her own thoughts. How it would when I bear Arnavji's child ?? thought Khushi. She blushed to herself even thinking about it and felt goosebumps.

Akash called Arnav , got to know him about this news and he too congratulated his Di and Shyam.. Hope this child will bring everything normal in their life.

The same day after dinner. Arnav still din't return from office as usual and Shyam went out on work.

Anjali and Nani are in Anjali's room when Khushi entered there. She knocked the door, both Nani and Anjali gestured her to come in. Khushi came to them smiling. She tried to be normal forgetting her earlier heated conversation with Anjali about Dhruv.

"Di.. What did the doctor said ??"asked Khushi.

"She said everything is fine. "said Anjali keeping a sulky face

"How many weeks is the baby ??"asked Khushi.

" Seven weeks"said Anjali.

Khushi clearly understood that Anjali doesn't want to talk with her. Then saw some baby clothes on the bed. She also saw a beautiful anklets

"Nani. You already brought them for baby" asked Khushi indicating them.

Nani smiling said " No Khushi Bitiya. They are Anjali's anklets when she was a child. Ratna preserved them for her grand daughter. Now I am giving them to Anjali"

"Oh. But they are nice" said Khushi taking them into hands.

"You Know Khushi. Ratna even preserved chote's little kangans for his baby. So when you give us good news, then I will give those kangans to your baby too" said Nani

Hearing it Khushi blushed hardly.

"Nani. I came here to ask something" said Khushi.

"What is it beta ??" asked Nani.

" Naniji. I am getting bored in the house. All the households are managed by servants and Payal. So I am thinking..." Khushi stopped there.

"So.. What are you thinking Bitiya ??"asked Nani.

"I want to do job" said Khushi.

Both Nani and Anjali looked at each other. Then Nani thinking for a while said " OK Bitiya.. If you want, you can do job. I don't have any objection. Did you talk with Chote ??"

Khushi felt happy hearing Nani's permission " NO Nani. I din't said anything about it Arnavji. He asked me earlier to join but I denied. So now I don't think he will have a problem"

"Ok Bitiya. Fine then" said Nani.

"Thank you Naniji" said Khushi" Don't say about it to anyone especially Arnavji. I want to surprise him"

Nani nodded her head while Anjali sulked hearing it.

Khushi walked out of the room and applied for ASR's PA post.

After two days:

In AR:

Arnav is in his cabin when Aman entered the cabin.

"ASR. As you have said, I gave an advertisement in paper for your PA post. I got many application then ten people were called to interview. I conducted interview and selected one person. Sir I can't deny that person because she is the best from others in qualification and experience, also we don't have any option" said Aman.

Arnav looked at Aman weirdly for explaining him soo much.

"Aman. Why are you explaining soo much ?? I believe you. Send him" said Arnav..

"Not him sir but she. A lady is selected" said Aman.

"OK then call her" said Arnav and engrossed in the file in hands.

"Good morning Sir" a voice came which Arnav felt is very familiar. He looked up from the file and found his wife, Khushi standing infront of him. Arnav looked at her confused.

"ASR. She is the new PA" said Aman. Arnav's eyes grew wider hearing it..

"What the..."were the words escaped from his mouth..

Then looking at Aman said" What type of joke is this Aman ??'

"This is not any joke sir. I applied for PA post, undergone an interview and finally got selected" said Khushi.

Arnav looked at Aman who in turn nodded his head as true. Aman knew what is all happening in Arshi's life.

"She can't be my PA. Look for someone" said Arnav shocking both of them.

"But Sir.."Aman is going to say something but Arnav said" Didn't you hear what I said Aman ??"

"Sir. We can't do anything now. She signed a contract for six months to work as your PA" said Aman.

Arnav gave an unbelievable look to him, then said" then terminate the damn contract"

"She can't be my PA. Look for someone" said Arnav shocking both of them.

"But Sir.."Aman is going to say something but Arnav said" Didn't you hear what I said Aman ??"

"Sir. We can't do anything now. She signed a contract for six months to work as your PA" said Aman.

Arnav gave an unbelievable look to him, then said" then terminate the damn contract"

"No Sir. You can't do that. If you do so, then I will go to court and release the news in media. Then it will come in news, then all people will say ASR terminated the contract fearing for a mere girl. I never thought that ASR fears for me" said Khushi in a challenging tone. Now this definitely hurts ASR's ego that he fears for a girl.

"Aman. Tell her the work she has to do. Assign her with Mehra's project. The project file should be on my table as soon as return from my conference" said Arnav and engrossed in his file while Khushi smirked hearing this. She knew he will definitely accept if she hurts his ego.
