Part 20

At the Venue:

When Arnav and Khushi reached, guests still din't arrived. Lavanya spotted Arnav and came near to him along with her parents.

"Arnav Beta. How are you ??"came Lavanya's mother near to them. She hugged Arnav and placed a kiss on his forehead affectionately.

Lavanya's father too hugged him affectionately.

"Arnav. seriously sometimes I doubt that they are my parents or your parents. They will always remember you and shows you with lot of love" said Lavanya.

"Lavanya. You both are same for us" said Lavanya's mother.

Arnav then introduced Khushi to Lavanya's parents. Khushi took their blessings touching their feet.

"Arnav. she is soo beautiful" said Lavanya's mother.

"But not more than my Arnie. He is the most handsome of all. Just wait for sometime, you all will come to know" said Lavanya keeping her hand on his shoulder.

Everyone smiled and went in. Soon after sometime, all the college friends of Arnav came there. Everyone greeted each other happily.

"Lavanya. It seems like reunion party" said one of their friend.

"Ofcourse. It is " said Lavanya. All the girls drooled over Arnav who is trying to move out from there.

Seeing his inconvenience, Lavanya took hold of Khushi's hand who is watching silently and went into the group.

"Excuse me all" said Lavanya. Everyone looked at her. She straightly came near Arnav and made Khushi stand beside Arnav.

"I am here to introduce you all a special person. She is none other than Mrs. Khushi Arnav Singh raizada"said Lavanya.

"What !! ASR got married" said one of the girl with utmost disappointment.

"Yes. Before three months" said Lavanya.

"Arnav. This is not fair. You din't even invited us for marriage" said one of the friend.

"Sorry guys. Everything happened in a rush" said Arnav and escaped from there along with his male friends.

Lavanya went to attend some guests excusing herself. Khushi alone stand there.

"Hi" came a person from behind near Khushi. she turned and looked a girl standing there with a smile on her face.

"So you are Mrs.ASR" asked the girl. Khushi nodded her head.

"I am Darla. ASR's classmate" said Darla. Khushi smiled to her.

"You are very lucky girl to have ASR as husband. You know all the girls used to drool over him in college days but he never raised a eye on any girl. Even I too had a crush on him. I proposed to him but he plainly rejected stating he is waiting for his soulmate. I understood and dropped but still these fools cling to him. He is very nice person but becomes equally dangerous person if someone tries to hurt his loved ones." Said Darla.

Khushi just stood thinking when Darla's phone rang. She went from there excusing herself. Khushi stood there numb with incidents happening around her. she is getting shock by shock from yesterday.

Her thoughts were broken by the voice from the stage.

One of the Arnav's friends Rahul is on the stage.

"Ladies and Gentlemen. Good Evening. We all know today we are here to attend Lavanya and Raj's marriage. On this special occasion, let us memorize our college days. Now let us see them" Said Rahul.

Suddenly the lights were dim. A screen came down on the stage. Khushi looked at Darla who came and stood beside her.

Slowly the presentation started with their college. Their photos of first year, during vacation and other functions were shown. Darla is explaining to Khushi about each photo. Then one of the photo is shown where Raj is proposing Lavanya ??

"You see, we were in second year then, we all went to industrial tour. There Raj proposed Lavanya in front of us. she took nearly two months time to say OK. " said Darla.

Then the other photo is scrolled making Khushi more shock. It was a photo where Lavanya is tying Rakhi to Arnav's hand.

" That year Arnav's sister forgot to send him Rakhi. Arnav felt very sad. Lavanya couldn't able to see it. So she tied Rakhi to him and became his sister. Even Lavanya's parents too consider him as their son" said Darla. A guilt rushed into Khushi for thinking soo wrong about Arnav and Lavanya.

The photo session is completed and lights were on again. Lavanya and Raj went on to the stage and thanked their friends.

The party continued for nearly two hours. Khushi stood with Lavanya and her friends listening their talks. Then taking leave from Lavanya, Arnav and Khushi started to hotel.

Khushi is lost in her own thoughts during the whole journey..She can't digest what is going on ?? Why did Dhruv lied to me about Lavanya and Arnavji ?? Did she really went wrong in estimating Dhruv ?? All her answers could be answered only by one person. It is Nithya. The first thing I should do after reaching India is meeting Nitya thought Khushi..

" We came" Arnav's voice brought her out of the thoughts..

She nodded her head and got down the car.. They both went to their suite..

Next day, they both attended lavanya's marriage. All the rituals which should be done by brother in marriage is performed by Arnav. The marriage took on a grand place.

After the guests were left, Arnav and Khushi too started to leave.

"Arnav. you could have stayed for some more time" said Lavanya.

"No Lavanya. There is a lot of work in office. Tomorrow early morning we have a flight..Next time, I will definitely come and stay until you say me to get out" said Arnav.

"OK. I understand. " said Lavanya" Where is my gift ??"

Arnav smiled and took out a small cover, handed to Lavanya. She opened it and squealed in happiness.

"What is it Beta ?"asked Lavanya's mom.

"Mom. Our honeymoon tickets for Bali. " said Lavanya blushing.

" Keep it for your honeymoon. " said Arnav. They both started to talk about Random things when Lavanya's mom took Khushi aside.

"This is for you" said Lavanya's mom giving Khushi a box. She opened it and saw a kangan set.

"Aunty. I can't take it" said Khushi hesitating.

"Don't deny beta. I couldn't attend your marriage. This is your marriage gift. Arnav is like son to me" said Lavanya's mom and forcefully placed it in Khushi's hands.

" Beta. Arnav loves you a lot. He fell in with you at the first sight when he saw you in college. He said to me about you. I saw in his eyes how much he loved you. After his parents death, he was neglected. He is waiting for someone who loves him a lot. Will you love him ?? Won't you ?? You are very lucky to have him in your life" said Lavanya's mom. Khushi was stunned hearing it..

Lavanya called them both and they both moved from there. Soon Arnav and Khushi left from there.

That Night both of them spent a sleepless night due to their thoughts about life. They can't understand where their life is leading to. Lavanya's mom words are ringing in Khushi's eyes. Arnavji loved me from college days. when ?? How ?? thought Khushi.

She doesn't want to live with me. Then how can I force her with me ?? She din't even mingle with everyone easily here thought Arnav..
