Since Xue was the protagonist of the novel, and the rightful heir to the throne of the Supreme God, he was naturally an exceptional existence.
Xue had an affinity to all elements.
He could switch freely and choose which element he wished to displayed to the people around him. Unfortunately, due to his broken soul, he is unable to control this aspect of his body. Moreover, with his broken soul, he couldn't go through the first gate of any of the elements.
Thus, in the novel, to make up for his loss of elemental powers, he relied on his adept fighting abilities and his handy spear that conveniently accompanied him when he was reincarnated. Once he started to absorb his souls, he regained his elemental powers, learning to utilise them quickly.
Cecil recalled the "spoiler" warning that was given by the system. If she agreed to seeing this vision, Xue would question her incessantly, and she wouldn't have the heart to deny her precious protagonist the answer.
Even though that would lead to her miserable demise.
"No, I didn't see such a vision. Unfortunately, I do not know what it means either." Cecil shook her head, gazing at his palm.
It was flickering between fire and water frequently, before switching over to air and earth.
Cecil knew the reason behind the frequency of the symbols too. She felt guilty, but she needed to lie to survive, in order to help Xue down the entire road.
"Are you able to form a vision now?" Xue questioned.
"No, I am not skilled enough to control my visions. They simply come and go as they wished." Cecil lied smoothly, her voice steady.
Thankfully, Xue didn't suspect her and as if on cue, the female teacher called out to the next student.
It was Xue.
He stepped forward, pausing for a second before revealing his palm to her.
It was a fire symbol.
She reached out to take the small tablet beside her. "Proceed to the fire--"
From the corner of her eye, she saw the symbol changing.
"...?!"
This time, it was water.
The teacher widened her eyes, looking at Xue before she shifted closer. It was as if she was shielding Xue's palm from any straying eyes.
The symbol switched back to a fire and almost immediately switching to air.
It switched again rapidly between the four elements.
The insignia of the element were very cursive in design, and seeing it switch multiple times in a row, it could make one head spin.
"Gom!" The female teacher called out, closing Xue's palm.
Xue was twenty-three years old, but the teachers here were twice or thrice his age. Despite that, he flung her hand away when she touched him, he didn't like strangers touching him. The female teacher only stared at Xue, raising her eyebrows as she took a step back.
"Why are you calling me?" Gom grumbled out, scratching his face.
"Your division." The female teacher said, shoving Xue towards Gom.
Xue stumbled, scowling at the female teacher and Gom looked at Xue, recognition flitting past his hazel eyes.
"That young lad!" Gom guffawed, seemingly excited. "Come on, follow me then."
Gom marched off and Xue hesitated, glancing back at Hana. Hana only smiled innocently, waving at him and he, for once, looked at Cecil.
Cecil blinked in surprise, she didn't expect the protagonist to care about her. Though, he was quick to switch back to Hana, smiling at her.
Xue was extremely handsome, and with his smile, he was dazzling. Many of the girls cast envious glances to Hana, and Cecil noted their gazes, a small smile playing at her lips.
However, Cecil's eyes drifted to one of the girls within the crowd. She had a delicate mein, and her mannerisms were bubbly as she conversed with the people surrounding her.
Her eyes couldn't help straying to Xue either.
She is pretty indeed.
The soon-to-be popular princess of Eagle Academy.
Cecil looked down, the light in her eyes dimming.
She likes both Kai and Xue, and she caused a lot of trouble for Hana who came here to visit Xue in the novel. She caused too much chaos, and it ultimately led to a scandal, and poor Hana was dragged in, despite being an innocent and naive victim, she was not a student of this academy either.
Cecil wondered if it will be different now since she was here, moreover, Hana was also a part of the academy now. In addition to that, Kai actually...likes Cecil now.
Cecil waved it off in her mind, with the situation being different now, she'll just let the plot take its place.
Her mind was preoccupied with other important matters. The division where Gom was placed at wasn't close to Kai, thus, she didn't need to worry about Xue trying to absorb his soul for the time being.
I just need to dedicate my time to training...and the other events.
Cecil sighed heavily, she definitely has a lot of work to do now.

Two weeks flew by, and Cecil had been following the training schedule diligently. It was regimental, where they wake up early in the day, have breakfast, do endurance exercises and training their physical combat. If Cecil had the extra time, she would practice her dancing skills as well, it would be a pity if she forgot about them.
It was exhausting overall, nevertheless, Cecil could see her stamina improving exponentially. She was even more surprised that Cecil's body could be honed to become a fighter. She was top few of her class in terms of physical combat, and that surprised her even more.
The last but not least, their elemental training.
The elemental training was the hardest to segment, since everyone was different from one another with different styles. It was hard to accommodate to every single individual.
The first week of elemental training was a breeze for Cecil, who had already opened her first gate. After that, when every student had opened their first gates, the teacher assigned them a task.
Choosing a weapon of their choice.
Every individual will possess two weapons in their lives, if they studied in any academy. The first being a weapon of their own choice, and the second was a sword.
The sword would only be given at a later time.
Cecil naturally chose the weapon of choice to be the rock that Kai gave her, despite it being a nondescript rock with the marking that Kai left behind.
Since it was a gift from the protagonist, Cecil didn't dare toss it away. Moreover, looking at the rock reminded her of their lessons and the torture she went through to get here.
Her classmates stifled their giggling and snickered secretly at Cecil's choice of weapon. Cecil disregarded them, lost in her own world of thoughts.
I am not here to excel in anything. I am only here solely to help Xue and Kai.
Evolving my element is the only way I can provide that help.
The rest of her classmates chose fancy weapons, and Cecil only started to formulate a plan in her mind.
The second week only focused on improving her movements with the rock. Her improvement was rapid, her movements were fluid and precise now, controlling the rock with ease.
She didn't even need to meditate now to activate her powers, she could simply will it to happen.
I could try unlocking the second gate now.
Their elemental training was mostly independent. The teacher was only there to provide them guidance, while they were to improve and create their own fighting styles.
Unlocking the gates was also dependent on themselves.
"AI500, remind me of the time limit."
[ Time limit : 31 days
29 days has passed since you were last given this secret mission. ]

Hana panted, flinging a shawl which was drenched in water. The water droplets shot out, and it began to coalesce along with the water from the shawl.
It was being sucked out.
Eventually, it formed into a big blob of crystal clear water. Hana smiled widely, her hand moving as she made a tossing motion.
The water dropped back into the pond, creating a rippling effect on the surface.
Her shawl was no longer drenched, revealing its silky, smooth material. The colour of the shawl was a gorgeous ocean blue, mimicking the colour of water.
"Though strange, somehow this weapon suits you. You've worked hard, Hana." The teacher patted Hana on the shoulder.
Hana beamed, nodding enthusiastically as she wiped away her sweat. "I always thought fighting and elemental training was boring, but now I find it fun!"
The teacher smiled at Hana's innocent expression, before clapping her hands. "Alright students, your training ends here today. You may choose to stay behind to train more or retire for the day."
The teacher then exited the garden.
"Hana, do you want a handkerchief to wipe away your sweat?"
"Oh, thank you!"
"Hana, do you need something to drink?"
"Thanks!"
"Hana, what about some snacks?"
"Uhm..."
"Hana--"
"Hana!"
Hana grew helpless, the boys were coveting for her attention like a bunch of seagulls.
The girls in her class were obviously not happy, especially the prettier ones. Some of them even glared openly at Hana.
"She's so dumb, why do the boys even like her?"
"Cause she's a slut."
"Shameless slut."
"Using a shawl as a weapon, she is clearly a retard."
The girls tittered.
One of them smiled mysteriously, "If we tear her apart along with her pretty dress, I wonder what the boys would do?"
The words belonged to the popular princess of the academy, Linqin. However, that spot was taken by Hana. Moreover, the cold and reserved beauty from the earth division, Cecil Lan, took the second "princess" spot.
Linqin was in the third, and just thinking of it made her face black. All her life, people pampered her, praising that her beauty and intelligence was comparable to the heavens and no one would surpass it.
Now, there were two of them in this academy that clearly surpassed her. Though, one of them was not intelligent at all.
She is only beautiful, and that's all! Just like a flower vase with nothing inside!
Linqin flipped her paper fan open, sending a thin blade of water towards Hana without hesitation, malicious. She tightened her grip on her paper fan, preparing to send another blade of water.
Just then, Linqin spotted something from the corner of her eye and she halted, stumbling backwards as she bumped onto another girl.
There was a sharp, whistling sound and she felt an impact on the ground.
Linqin blanched.

Pt. 1
《 start 》
If that woman's vision is really true, I'll just destroy the school.
...but this teacher is decent. He has helped me regain my combat skills, though my elemental energy is nonexistent, probably because of my broken soul.
I'll train for a while more, and destroy this entire school, killing everyone in it.
Except for Hana and that woman.
If that woman dies, Hana will be devastated...and I...I will feel uncomfortable.

Pt. 2
《 start 》
A weapon? And it can be anything?
My shawl then! It looks pretty!
The teacher didn't speak for a moment, until she mentioned how my shawl mimicked the colour of water.
She said I could use it as a weapon, and trick people with its colour!
Yay!
