It's been a year since I walked out on my husband and he still hasn't signed the stupid divorce papers. My babies were almost two. I have been having an internal battle with myself. I missed the ring and I wanted to go back immediately. I heard that Smackdown was having a show in Arizona. Why not finally fly back down and return. So that was what I was doing. I was packing my bags so I can fly down for Smackdown tomorrow.

I haven't called Shane yet and I knew I needed to do that.

"Hello."

"Shane hi."

"Nikki it's been a while."

"It has."

"So why have you called me?"

"I want to return." I say.

"When exactly."

"Smackdown is tomorrow and I was maybe hoping I can go out there." I say, biting my lip.

"Well as long as you get here right now we can discuss what you'll be doing."

"I have a flight in two hours and I'll meet you in the arena tomorrow." I say.

"Sounds like a plan, and will you tell anybody."

"No this is a surprise for everyone."

"Alright I'll see you then."

I hang up overjoyed. I was going to return and I was glad. I knew that I'd have to face Seth, but that was the least of my worries as if now. I packed my things and put an outfit on for the plane.

During the course of this year I wanted to change up my appearance a bit. So I dyed my hair back to its original color. Black, my hair was once again black.

I changed my babies and packed their bags as fast as I could.

I grabbed the bags and put them in the car. I grabbed the kids and walked them to the car. I put them in their seats and I got in the passenger seat. My friend who I have been living with was dropping me off at the airport.

Let me give you a quick rundown of what I've learned to know what has happened in this year. Brie and Dean got married. Alexa and Sami got engaged. Aj styles and Charlotte got together. Finn and Becky got married. Mickie James returned. Most importantly rumors have been floating around Seth found someone else. I was crushed and obviously I still love him, but if he's with someone else, I don't want to ruin their life.

He still hasn't signed the divorce papers. Anyway we just arrived at the airport and I was rushing to my gate. I put the kids in a stroller and quickly boarded the plane. In a matter of hours I'll be back in that ring.

I landed and I had no place to stay and I had to quickly book a hotel hoping nobody saw me. I had to get a rental car and drive to the hotel. I made sure to not get one where WWE superstars were staying. I checked in and sat on my bed.

"I'm going to get back in that ring and become a full time wrestler again." I say to myself. I look at my children who were peacefully sleeping. I'm not sure if they remember Seth, but I may never know. It was late morning and I had to meet Shane in a few hours. I decided to get ready and changed the babies diapers.

"Okay Nikki, Brie is going to get attacked by Charlotte and you're going to run out and save her." I nod as he tells me the plan for today. "You'll fight Charlotte off and help Brie backstage, and then we'll start a whole storyline afterwards." I nod my head. "That seems about it." He says.

"Alright thank you." I say. I walk out and bump into a small figure. I look down to see a shocked Alexa.

"Nikki!" She says. I shush her and take her to a closet nearby with the kids holding on to my hand.

"Lexi." I say.

"What are you doing here." She asks.

"I'm returning." I say. She smiles wildly and stares at my kids.

"Aw they're so big." She says.

"I know they grew up to fast."

"Have you talked to Seth." She asks. I freeze and shake my head. "You have to hear him out." She says. I sigh and look down at my baby boys who look exactly like Colby.

"Not right now I have to get ready for Smackdown that airs in two hours, so when I go out can you watch them." I ask, hoping for her to say yes.

"Okay fine."

"Do not take them to Colby." I warn her.

"Yeah whatever I won't." She says. I smile and head to my personal locker room. Lexi closely behind. I pick gear that Shane gave me to choose from and put it on.

I sit down and watch as they start Smackdown. Alexa had to go out for a promo and I just sat there waiting for my cue. Lexi's promo aired and the next match was Brie's. Lexi came in the room as I was starting to stretch. I grabbed a fearless jacket and put it on.

"I'll be back." I say. I walk out keeping my head low, hoping nobody will see me. Seth's match was after this one and that means he's gotta be close by gorilla. I make it to gorilla and watch as Charlotte brutalizes Brie. I take the jacket off and wait for the tech guy to play my music.

I run out and get greeted by many screaming fans. Charlotte stops hurting Brie and stares at me in shock. Almost breaking out of character, she snaps back into reality as I tackle her down with a spear. I get on top of her and throw punches left and right. She rolls out of the ring as I go check on Brie. She looked shocked and I can hear the commentators still going crazy.

"Are you okay?" I ask. She nods as I help her out of the ring and backstage. We reach backstage and she embraces me into a huge hug. I hug her back and look at Lexi coming. She brings all of my kids and they run towards me. I kneel down and embrace them all.

"Mommy loves you very much." I say, everyone watching me having a moment with my children. I let them go and hug Lexi. Out of nowhere Brayden runs off. I give Brie and Alexa, Dax and Brook and run after Brayden.

"Brayden get back here." I say. He turns a corner and I run faster. I reach him only to have him in the arms of Seth. I freeze in my place as he stands there hugging Brayden tightly.

"I missed you." He says in his ear.

"Dada." He says, I was a little shocked they still remember him. Seth looks up to find me staring.

"I... uh hey." He says. I don't answer him and grab Brayden out of his grasp. "Congrats on your return, I know how much you wanted to return." He says.

"Thanks, but I better get going." I say turning around ready to leave once again.

"Wait..." I turn back around and the other two run towards me.

"Yeah."

"Can I at least have a day with them, I haven't seen them in a whole year." I think for a moment before letting him grab Brayden.

"Take care of them." I say handing him Dax and Brook. Who surprisingly recognize him.

"I will." I walk off and feel his eyes on me. Just like old times, I slightly smile, but wipe it off. That voice was too much.
