Chapter 9: Studying Together

Axel nodded, pulling out the review packet from his backpack.

Stacy smiled, feeling a sense of excitement. She loved studying with Axel, and she always felt like she learned so much more when he was around.

As they sat down at the kitchen table, Stacy couldn't help but notice how cute Axel looked when he was concentrating. She felt a flutter in her chest, and she quickly looked away, trying to focus on the task at hand.

But as they studied, Stacy found herself getting more and more distracted. She couldn't stop thinking about Axel, and she found herself wondering what it would be like to kiss him.

Axel, on the other hand, seemed completely focused on the task at hand. He was quizzing Stacy on different math concepts, and he seemed impressed with how quickly she was picking things up.

As the afternoon wore on, Stacy found herself feeling more and more comfortable around Axel. She was starting to feel like she could be herself around him, and that was a really nice feeling.

Just as they were finishing up their studying, Madeleine came back into the room. "Hey guys, how's it going?" she asked, flopping down into a chair.

Stacy smiled. "It's going great, Madeleine. We just finished studying for our math test."

Madeleine nodded. "Cool, cool. I'm glad you guys are getting along."

Axel smiled, standing up and stretching. "Yeah, we're getting along great. Thanks for letting me come over and study with Stacy."

Madeleine waved her hand. "No problem, Axel. You're always welcome here."

As Axel packed up his things and said his goodbyes, Stacy couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment. She didn't want the day to end, and she didn't want Axel to leave.

But as she walked him to the door, Axel turned to her and smiled. "Hey Stacy, can I ask you something?" he said, his voice low and serious.

Stacy's heart skipped a beat. "What is it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Axel's eyes locked onto hers. "Do you want to go out with me sometime? Maybe grab dinner or see a movie?"

Just then, Madeleine, who had been quietly observing the conversation, couldn't help but giggle. "Oh my gosh, this is so cute!" she exclaimed, covering her mouth with her hand.

Stacy's face turned bright red with embarrassment, but Axel just chuckled. "I take that as a yes?" he asked, smiling at Stacy.

Stacy nodded, trying to play it cool. "Yeah, that sounds like fun."

Axel grinned, relief written all over his face. "Great, I'll pick you up at 7pm on Friday."

As Axel walked out the door, Madeleine turned to Stacy and squealed. "Oh my gosh, Stacy! You're going on a date with Axel!"

Stacy blushed, feeling excited and nervous at the same time. "I know, I'm so nervous!"

Madeleine hugged her. "Don't be nervous, Stacy. You're going to have so much fun. And I'm going to be here, waiting to hear all about it."

Stacy smiled, feeling grateful for her best friend. She knew that Madeleine would always be there for her, no matter what.

As the two friends hugged, Stacy couldn't help but feel excited for her upcoming date with Axel. She had no idea what the future held, but she was ready to take a chance and see where things went.

The next few days flew by in a blur. Stacy spent most of her time studying for her math test and trying to calm her nerves about her upcoming date with Axel.

Finally, the day of the date arrived. Stacy spent hours getting ready, trying on different outfits and doing her hair and makeup.

When Axel arrived at her doorstep, Stacy's heart skipped a beat. He looked handsome and charming, and Stacy couldn't help but feel a little awestruck.

"Hey Stacy, you look beautiful," Axel said, smiling at her.

Stacy blushed, feeling a little shy. "Thanks Axel, you look pretty great yourself."

As they walked to the car, Stacy couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had no idea what the night held, but she was ready to take a chance and see where things went.

Axel opened the car door for her, and Stacy slid inside. As they drove to the restaurant, Stacy couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness. She had never been on a date before, and she wasn't sure what to expect.

But as they sat down at their table and began to talk, Stacy started to feel more and more at ease. Axel was easy to talk to, and Stacy found herself laughing and joking with him like they were
