Two can play this game.
It was still early in the evening and Jessica with Susan had no intentions of standing up from the bed. They spent the whole morning talking and laughing. Empty plates were on the nightstands beside them and the ashtray next to Jessica was now filled. Suddenly silence filled the room and the younger woman turned her head, facing her lover who was playing now with Penny. Susan realized that Jessica's eyes were glued on her and without looking at her she: "I can feel your eyes..." Susan said, chuckling.
"You're so beautiful..." Jessica smiled and reached for Susan's cheek, stroking her softly with the back of her palm while tilting her head to the side. Susan chuckled as a response.
"Sue?"
Susan finally glanced up to look at her lover. "Do people... you know, men mostly say that to you? or women... when you're out in public I mean... are they..."
Susan laughed and cut her short, "You wanna know if they're... flirting with me?"
"Oh, no... it's not that..." Jessica chuckled and then she stopped, "Are they?" she asked, looking right into Susan's big eyes.
"Sometimes..."
"What are they saying?"
"You know... stuff"
"Like what?"
"I don't remember exactly..."
"And are they all men or women are flirting with you as well?"
"Mostly men..."
"I see..." Jessica replied and reached for her cigarettes.
"You're not jealous, are you?"
"Now, why would I be jealous? There's nothing wrong with flirting, it's just words..."
"Exactly" Susan replied and grabbed her phone with a smirk on her face, knowing very well that Jessica was getting jealous and her anger was evident.
"Is it just words tho?"
"You're not implying that I cheated on you now, are you?"
"I'm just asking"
"Alright..."
"Is it?"
"What?"
"Is it just words?"
Susan took a minute before answering, adding more fuel to the fire. "Of course"
"You're making it so hard for me to believe you"
"What else do you want me to say, baby?"
Jessica chuckled and shook her head, "You've said enough..." she replied and stood up.
"Where are you going?"
"Empty the ashtray, honey" Jessica replied but stopped when her phone started ringing. She placed the ashtray back to where it was and picked up her phone. She chuckled. "Who is it?" Susan asked while glancing up to see the younger woman.
"Sarah?" Jessica said on the phone and immediately walked out of the bedroom. Susan threw her phone to the side and followed her lover. She stood in front of the door, looking at Jessica. Of course, she was still jealous but this time for some weird reason she caught herself enjoying every minute of it, soon enough she realized that she couldn't continue watching her lover so she passed in front of Jessica, who was still talking on the phone, and sat on the couch, turning on her stereo.
"Excuse me for a second," Jessica said on the phone and covered it with her palm turning to Susan. "Can't you see that I'm on the phone?"
"I see that alright"
"Turn the goddamn volume down"
"As far as I remember this is my house, baby"
Jessica stopped and chuckled while shaking her head, "Alright..." she replied and walked back into the bedroom to talk to her friend. After a couple of minutes, she walked out to her lover but there was no music playing, something that didn't pass unnoticed from Jessica. The blonde woman took a seat next to her lover but Susan was pretending that she was reading.
"What are you reading?"
"A book"
"Interesting..."
Susan didn't reply and both sat in complete silence until she couldn't take it anymore and broke the silence, "How's Sarah?" she said and threw the book on the table
"She's good... she's in town"
"And that means?"
"We're going out tonight"
Susan looked at her... how could she say that she didn't want her to go out with Sarah? She thought of it for a minute and finally decided not to say anything at all and just continued staring at her lover.
"Is that a problem?" Jessica smirked.
"A problem? No, of course not."
"Good..."
"Am I not invited?"
"Oh... if you want to..."
"It seems to me that you don't want me with you"
"Stop being ridiculous... I want you with me"
"So, where are we going?"
"Remember that place we went out a few months back? That bar downtown?"
"I do..."
"We're gonna meet her there at nine"
"That sounds good to me..."
"So... I better leave now"
"So soon?"
"I've got to take a shower"
Susan raised her eyebrow, "You can shower here"
"No, I should go home, but thanks..." Jessica said and stood up, she disappeared into the bedroom to pick up her things suddenly she heard Susan, shouting her name.
"Jess!"
Jessica took her things and walked back inside, "What?"
"I can't join you two tonight"
"Why?"
"I'm going out with a few friends tonight, sorry"
"Oh... that's okay, maybe some other time"
"Don't you wanna know with whom I'm going out?" Susan asked and stood up, walking slowly to her lover's side.
"With friends, you said..." she replied and smirked.
"With friends..."
"Am I going to see you after?"
"I don't know what time I'll be back"
"I see..."
"What's wrong?" Susan asked while watching her lover putting on her jacket.
"Nothing," Jessica replied and grabbed her bag.
"Are you jealous?"
Jessica walked to the door, "You want me to be jealous?"
"I'm just asking..."
"Well, to answer your question, I'm not..."
"Alright..." Susan said and took a step back
"And with whom exactly are you going out tonight?" she asked before opening the door.
"You know... Clayton, Ann, Kate... Mike"
"Mike?"
"Yeah"
"Who's Mike?"
"You know him, I invited him on my birthday"
"Oh, that man who was all over you that night?" Jessica asked and closed the door, walking closer to her lover.
"That's him"
"Yeah, I remember him..." she said, wrapping her arms around Susan's waist and pulling her closer to her body.
"He's a good guy"
"Is he?"
Susan nodded and closed her eyes, feeling Jessica's breathe just a few inches away from her mouth.
"Don't push my buttons, Sue... you're gonna regret it" Jessica whispered, her lips were slightly touching Susan's.
"Yeah? What are you gonna do?" Susan opened her eyes.
"You don't wanna find out..." Jessica finally replied, stepped back and chuckled while looking at her lover.
"I can come by your place tonight" Susan suggested, staring at Jessica who opened the door and walked out.
Before closing the door Jessica finally replied, "I don't what time I'll be back..." she said and left the house. Leaving Susan behind who chuckled while shaking her head.
"Two can play this game, Jess... two can play this game" Susan whispered at herself and went into the bedroom to call her friend.
"Clayton?!"
"Susan? what's wrong?"
"I was thinking, how about we go out tonight?"
"Yeah, why not"
"Great! Let's say at nine?"
"Sure..."
"Could you call Mike too"
"Mike?! You said you don't want him around you"
"Just for tonight"
"Why? What's happening tonight?"
"Nothing... just call him"
"Okay... where are we going?"
"I've got something in mind..." Susan said with a smirk on her face...
-------------
Sarah was waiting for her friend at least ten minutes before a familiar face entered the bar. She was sitting on the bar, having her drink when Susan approached her.
"Hey"
"Hi!" Sarah smiled and stood up to hug her, an action that surprised the older woman but she happily responded, "Jessica didn't tell me you were coming with us, I wouldn't sit here! Come on, pick a table"
"Oh, no... I'm with friends" Susan replied, pointing to her friends in the distance who were now sitting across the bar.
"Oh... so, how are you? It's been so long!"
"I'm good... and you?"
"Great, everything's great. How things are going with you and Jess?"
"Everything's fine... we're better than ever"
"That's nice..."
"For how long are you staying here?"
"I'm leaving next week, I was leaving tomorrow but Ryan called me..."
Susan cut her short, "Oh, yes... he called me too, so I guess I'll see you there"
"Of course..."
"Great! I should go now but I'll come back later"
"Sure" Sarah replied with a smile on her face and returned back to her seat. Susan sat right across her, it was crowded, making it hard for Jessica to spot her but not so crowded for Susan to keep an eye on her the whole night. When Jessica walked inside she started looking for Sarah who raised her hand and Susan immediately turned to look at her lover. Her friends were talking but Susan wasn't listening, Jessica was making it so hard for her not to look at her. Dressed in a black suit with heels, a gold necklace was gracing her neck, she made Susan fell more in love with her.
Jessica walked to her friend and kissed her cheeks, greeting her with a huge smile as she took a seat across her and ordered her drink.
"You're wonderful tonight," Sarah said while looking at her. Sarah could be fangirling over her the whole night but having Susan into the same room made it hard for her.
"Thanks..." Jessica replied while resting her elbow on the bar and titled her head to the side. "God... I missed you, it's been so long"
"I know... last time we saw each other was months ago!"
"Well, for four years we got used to seeing each other every day so..."
Sarah chuckled, "I miss those years"
"We're gonna make up for the lost time, tell me, what's new with you?"
"Oh, I was in two movies this year, you should go see them"
"Yeah, I read it on the internet, I will"
"And that's all, we're talking with Ryan, we're planning something really good"
"What is it?"
"I'm not gonna tell you... did he call you?"
"Yeah, but I don't know if I'm gonna come"
"Why not?! Come on..."
"I've got things to do..."
"Sitting on the couch, watching t.v. is not a thing"
"Says who?"
"Me! And you're coming. Come on, everyone's coming"
"That's exactly why I don't want to come!" Jessica replied while taking a sip from her glass.
"Susan's coming too..." Sarah said and looked at Jessica's expression changing, she smiled. "She is?"
Sarah nodded, "She told me so herself"
"When?" Jessica asked confused.
"You didn't see her?"
"She's here?!"
"She's sitting on the corner with her friends"
Jessica looked at her, trying hard not to laugh, she shook her head, "Jesus Christ..."
"You didn't know she was coming here?"
"Do I look like I knew it?" Jessica replied and started looking around, searching for her lover, when she finally saw her. Clayton looked at her and waved while smiling.
"Jessica's here," he said to his friend and Susan turned to see her. She smiled and raised her drink, she winked making Jessica smirk. "I know..." she replied to her friend.
"You knew she was coming?"
"Of course..."
"Alright, you've got to tell me what's going on"
"Nothing, everything's fine"
"So you two are good"
"We're good... now where were we," Susan turned to Mike who was obviously flirting with her.
"What the hell are you doing?" Clayton leaned closer to his friend ear and whispered but no response came from her as she was trying to concentrate on what Mike was saying.
"She's looking at you" Clayton continued.
"What about now, is she looking now?" Susan asked without turning to look at him.
"Yes, she's still looking"
"Good..." Susan replied and started laughing, Mike looked at her confused...
------
"How things are going with you two?" Sarah asked Jessica who was getting angry with her lover's actions.
"What?" Jessica asked and finally looked at her friend.
"I said, how things are going with you two?"
"Good, despite that fact that I'm gonna kill her tonight"
"What's going on?"
"She knew we were coming here, that's why she came"
"And that's wrong because..."
"Because she only came to make me watch her laughing and flirting with that man next to her..."
"I can't understand your relationship"
"She wants me to be jealous"
"Are you?"
Jessica puckered up her lips and drunk the whole drink in one single sip. "No"
"God..." Sarah started laughing, "I know why she's doing this..."
"Yeah? why?"
"Because you never show how you feel, she wants you to admit that you're jealous"
"It's not that... believe me"
"Alright, I do... last time we talked you two weren't so good, what happened"
"Oh, the fault was mine..." Jessica said and turned to look at her lover one more time, watching her laughing, she turned back to Sarah again.
"If you wanna leave just say it"
"Oh, I'm not going anywhere" Jessica replied and made a sign to the barman in order for him to fix her another drink.
The whole night was torture not only for Jessica who had to sit and watch her lover laughing with some strange man but for Susan as well because Jessica's response to her was flirting with Sarah who knew exactly what was going on. One drink after another and both women were already wasted by 12:00. Sarah tried to convince Jessica to stop and go home but as long as Susan was still there she wasn't going anywhere. Same goes with Clayton who could see why his friend was acting like that.
"Make me another one" Jessica said to the barman.
"Jess, come on, take it easy, I just had my second one for God's sake and you're already wasted"
Jessica looked at her and started laughing while leaning her head closer to her friend, "Is she looking?" she whispered.
"Yeah..."
"Good..." Jessica replied and placed her hand on Sarah's lap. Something that made Susan angrier.
---
"Fuck it, she drives me crazy!" Susan said to Clayton who was looking at her confused.
"How about I'll take you home?"
"So soon? No, no... I'm leaving after she leaves"
"Jessica?"
"Yeah... Is she looking?"
"No... she stood up"
Immediately Susan turned to look at her lover and watched her walking into the toilet. Without much thinking, she stood up and followed her, passing in front of Sarah who was laughing.
When Susan walked inside she found her lover washing her hands.
"Hi," Susan said, looking at some other woman who was inside. She went to the sink next to her lover and washed her hands too...
Jessica smiled, "Hello"
The woman walked out and Susan closed the door, "What are you doing?"
"What does it look like I'm doing?" Jessica asked and leaned back, her back touching the cold tiles behind her.
"What are you doing with Sarah?"
"Well, what are you doing with that guy?"
"Having a good time"
"Same..." Jessica smirked.
"You're unbelievable," Susan said and laughed
"Right back at'ya" Jessica continued, "Now if you'll excuse me, my friend is waiting for me"
Susan looked at her and walked to her, she placed her hands on Jessica's cheeks and pulled her into a deep kiss which left both of them out of breath. Jessica broke the kiss and stepped back, "I'll be waiting for you at my place"
"Oh, no... we're not leaving," Susan said and locked her lips with Jessica's one more time, guiding her into the woman's restroom, she locked the door without separating their lips. Susan pushed her on the locked door and attacked her neck with wet kisses. Jessica placed her hands on her shoulders and leaned her head to the side while closing her eyes.
"Not here..." Jessica said, but Susan had no intentions to stop now... "Sue..." Jessica moaned.
"You want me to stop?" Susan asked and continued pressing kisses on her neck.
"No..." Jessica replied making her lover smirk. She couldn't believe how wet Susan could make her just with a single touch. And Susan didn't want to waste any more time, she shoved her hand inside Jessica's panties.
"I've been thinking about this the whole night," Jessica said in a husky tone.
"I can tell..." Susan replied with a smirk on her face when she touched Jessica wetness.
"Come on..." Jessica whined and with that Susan pushed two fingers into Jessica's slit. "Oh... God" Jessica said in relief and let her head fall forward.
Susan continued thrusting her fingers into her lover while kissing and nibbling Jessica's neck, "Fuck... more" Jessica ordered and moaned loudly. Susan pushed three fingers inside and continued at the same pace, hoping that no one would come now. But suddenly they heard someone walking inside, Susan immediately kissed her lover, covering her mouth and felt Jessica thrusting herself harder on her fingers while her clit was crushing on her open palm.
Jessica couldn't take it anymore and moaned into the kiss making Susan thrust her fingers faster than before. Until they heard the door closing again. Susan broke the kiss allowing her lover to breath.
"God... that's it!" Jessica shouted, feeling herself closer to her release. A few final thrusts and Jessica came with a loud moan and her mouth hanging open, Susan removed her fingers from inside, bringing them on her mouth but Jessica took a hold of her hand and licked Susan's fingers, tasting her own self and making Susan eager for what was going to happen a few hours later.
Jessica smirked, "So you're coming after?"
"How could I say no?"
"You're can't" Jessica replied, unlocked the door and left the toilet, walking back to her seat.
"Jesus, what took you so long?!" Sarah asked when she saw her friend but stopped and laughed when she noticed her messy hair. "Jesus, Jessica!"
"What?" Jessica asked and looked at Susan walking back to her table. She then turned and looked at Sarah with an innocent look on her face, making Sarah chuckle. "Don't look at me like that!"
"What?"
"Nothing... let's order another one" Sarah suggested and drunk the last sip from her drink.
