It was still early in the morning and Susan was sitting on her bed, reading the news on her phone, the streets for the first time were empty. Few people were outside, going to work and the park across her place was empty. One thing she loved about the city was the noise, New York is the city that never sleeps and suddenly it was "sleeping". Suddenly everything turned grey. Jazz music was coming from the living room when Susan heard a soft knock on her door. She placed her phone on the nightstand and went to answer the door.

"Good morning" Jessica whispered and smiled

"What the hell? Are you out of your mind?" Susan screamed and dragged the confused woman inside the house. Jessica turned and looked at her, scared. "What's wrong?"

"You went out without a mask, without gloves, exposed to this virus"

"But I live just a few blocks away, I walked and I didn't touch anything"

"Go wash your hands"

"Should I take a shower too?"

"If you insist..."

Jessica chuckled and shook her head, "You're unbelievable..." she said and walked into the bathroom.

A few minutes passed and Jessica appeared into Susan's bedroom, finding her woman sitting on the bed, she was wrapped around with the towels and had her hair up in a messy ponytail.

"Better now?" she said and sat on the bed's edge

"Look now that we've got to stay inside I was thinking maybe you could bring your stuff here or we could stay at your place"

"But Penny has to be in a familiar place"

"Of course, and there's that..."

"Can't I stay at my place and you at your place and meet during the day as we do?"

"Well, can you risk going out everyday cause I can't"

"I didn't realize how scared you are," she said with a chuckle

"I'm not gonna lie, I am terrified"

"I think that's cute..." Jessica said and leaned forward to place a kiss on her lover's cheek but Susan avoided it, "Keep your distance, Lange," Susan said and made her lover laugh.

"Come on, just one kiss," Jessica said and moved on top of her lover trying to kiss her

"You've been out, you're gonna give me the virus," Susan said laughing while pushing her lover

"I went out last night but yet I came here" she yelled while laughing and restrained her lover's hands as she parted her legs and sat on Susan's lap, "That didn't stop you last night, or am I mistaken?"

"Last night was an accident..."

"Oh... so by accident you found yourself between my legs?" she whispered in a seductive way and removed Susan's glasses from her face, placing them on the night table

"Exactly..."

"Don't tell me you didn't enjoy it" she said between kissing and nibbling Susan's neck

"What about you?"

"What about me?" Jessica asked and undid the towel, throwing it on the floor and standing now naked in front of her lover.

"Did you enjoy it last night?" Susan asked, with Jessica's help her hands found her lover's breasts.

"Hmm... Actually, I don't remember" she whispered and let her head fall behind. Susan's hands traveled down on Jessica's body until she rested them on her hips and started stroking them softly.

"I thought you remembered me between your legs last night"

"Wasn't that an accident?"

"Well, I think it was nine or ten when you came here, we were sitting inside, listening to music, looking out of the window, remember?" Susan said with a smirk on her face. "After that, we came here, we got undressed but then I turned to look at you, the lights were down and you were standing in front of the window. For a second I felt completely taken by you, I couldn't think or talk only stare at you, at your figure... You looked at me with that smile on your face. And I knew that smile, that promising smile..." she stopped and shoved her fingers into her lover's slit. As a response, Jessica let out a throaty moan and placed her hands on Susan's shoulders while thrusting herself slowly on her woman's fingers. "Keep going"

"Take one of my jackets too"

"You're not coming?"

"Here..." she said and tossed on of the jackets on the bed.

Both women walked outside, leaning on the railings, Jessica lighted up her cigarette and then Susan's. She started laughing.

"What is it?"

"I'm sorry, I'm not just used to watching you smoking"

"With everything that's going on, I think I'm gonna start it"

"Especially now you're forbidden"

"Says who?"

"Me"

"And what are you?"

"Your... girlfriend I guess..." she said and laughed again.

"It's depressing, looking at the city..."

"Well, this will pass eventually, we just have to be patient, everything will get better"

"Did you ever imagine we would go through something like this?"

"No... never"

"Yeah, me neither"

"How's Eva?"

"She's good, the baby's good, I saw him"

"I know how hard it must be for you, not being able to go see her"

"It's killing me..." she turned and looked at her lover, "But, after this I'm planning to go there and I want you to come"

"Alright"

"And after that maybe we could go to Maine"

"Or Cuba"

"Or that yes..." she said and laughed.

"Tomorrow morning I'm going out, we should get some food, and..."

Susan cut her short, "Please don't"

"Sue... the fridge is empty"

"We'll send someone else"

"Someone younger you mean?"

"I don't mean to sound..."

"... Okay, if it bothers you, I won't go out, we'll ask the kids to bring us a few things"

"That's better..."

"Come on, let's go inside..."

It was 9:00 PM when Jessica woke up, she opened slowly her eyes and stared at her lover, sitting in front of the mirror, looking at herself.

"What are you doing?"

"Well, good morning"

"Good morning," she said and laughed

"I made us some dinner"

"You cooked?"

"Don't get too excited, I made spaghetti"

"You know I was thinking..."

"While you were sleeping?"

"Before that idiot"

"Spit it out, Lange" Susan said laughing and applied her body cream on her hands.

"Before, when we were... you know"

"What?"

"Come on, Sue"

"I still don't get it why can't you just say it"

"Because I don't feel comfortable saying it"

"But you feel comfortable doing it?"

"It's not the same..."

"Okay, so what happened when we were having... you know"

"You told me that you were wondering how I taste" she stopped and with that Susan looked at her from the mirror and smirked, "What about it?"

"Was it while we were shooting Feud or before that?"

"It was while we were shooting Feud"

"I wasn't noticeable before that?"

"You were, I mean, I just never thought about us being together before. I remember staring at you when we met for the first time but not in an "I want you" way, more in an "I'm curious about you" way"

"Why were you curious about me?"

"About what you went through, what you were going through... you still are a mystery to me"

"Excuse me?" she laughed

"I never know what you're thinking, you don't talk much about your feelings, what bothers you... I mean, you were so furious about Sam and yet you dedicated your book to him, I just don't understand you sometimes and don't get me wrong, I love that, I'm fascinating, discovering more about you, day by day. Every time I think okay, I know everything about you there's always something that I don't"

"Of course I was furious with Sam, but yet he was a big part of my life and maybe if he wasn't like that I wouldn't end up with you"

"That's true..."

Jessica stood up and walked behind her lover, wrapping her hands around her neck, "You wanna know something?"

"What is it?" Susan smiled and leaned her head on Jessica's hand

"I was curious about you too... I'm not gonna lie at first I only wanted to try it with you but then it was only you, I couldn't stop thinking about you, I got crazy, I wanted you more than anyone else in this world"

"Then if I wasn't so good in bed, you would just have sex with me and then leave?"

"No, I knew it from the first time that what we had would evolve into something bigger"

"Yeah, how so?"

"Look at you, you're a catch," Jessica said and bent down to kiss her lover, she capped her face pulling her into a deep passionate kiss which left Susan out of breath. Moisturing her swollen lips, she whispered, "Let's go eat"

"Maybe later..." Jessica said and grabbed Susan's hand, guiding her into the bed and forcing her to lie down. She undid the belt from Susan's robe and opened it, staring at her, with a smirk on her face, Susan looked at her and reached for her face, stroking her cheeks with her thumbs.

Jessica closed her eyes and leaned her head to the side, enjoying her lover's touch before leaning down. She started kissing her way down on Susan's breasts until she stopped and whispered, "God, you smell so good"

Susan chuckled and looked at her, smiling. She watched her lover nibbling and sucking her nipples. Jessica didn't hesitate and bit her softly making Susan arch her back.
