"Mommy! Daddy! Mr. Bear is ready for night-night!" Your daughter yelled from her room, meaning that she was ready to go to sleep.

Sebastian looked up to you from the place he was sitting on the couch and smiled, "Ready?" He asked and you nodded.

You both got up together and held hands on your way to your daughter's room.

There, she was holding her teddy bear, Mr. Bear, and was sitting up on her bed.

She giggled when she saw you and Sebastian holding hands. You and Sebastian smiled at each other and dropped hands, going to your daughter's bedside.

"Hey, baby," you said quietly as you went to her side. "Are you ready for a story?"

She nodded her head frantically. She looked to Seb and said, "Daddy, you need to read the story too."

He smiled and went to pick out a book from the shelf. He grabbed one and went to your side.

You tucked the covers around your daughter and she snuggled Mr. Bear into her side.

Sebastian cleared his throat and began reading, "Once upon a time, there was a beautiful girl named Cinderella. She lived with her wicked stepmother and two stepsisters. They treated Cinderella very badly. One day, they were invited for a grand ball in the king's palace. But Cinderella's stepmother would not let her go. Cinderella was made to sew new party gowns-"

"I've already heard this one," your daughter, Grace, pouted.

Sebastian smiled apologetically and stood up and returned the book and picked out a new one. But this time, he handed it to you.

You smiled at Grace and began reading, "Once upon a time there lived a wealthy merchant and his three daughters.

One day, the father was to go to a far-off place and he asked his daughters what they wanted on his return. The first and the second daughter asked for lovely dresses. But the third daughter, whose name was Beauty, said, 'Father, I only need a rose plucked by your hand.' The merchant-"

She faked a yawn. "Yeah, yeah, yeah- she meets the Beast, who is the long lost prince, and they fall in love and he un-becomes the Beast. You've read this to me and I've seen the movie," she pouted.

You said, "Sorry, baby. I'll try and find one that you haven't read or seen on tv." You stood up and returned the book, glancing down at Sebastian who had stolen Mr. Bear from Grace and was having it say things. Oh, what a guy.

You grabbed a book off the shelf and said, "Ok, Grace. You haven't seen this one in a movie and you haven't read it." You gave her a proud smile and she returned it.

She snatched the bear away from Sebastian and he pouted.

You began to read. "Seven-year-old Alice was listening to her sister read a story under a tree when she saw a rabbit hurrying by. Curious to see where he was going in such a hurry Alice followed him. The rabbit scurried into a burrow and Alice followed him. Before she knew it she was falling down a long tunnel and found herself in a strange and wonderful place called Wonderland.

Wandering about she came across a tea party in progress. The March Hare and the Mad Hatter were sitting at one end of a long table with a dormouse between them. When they saw Alice they cried, 'No room, no room!'

'There's plenty of room!' said Alice firmly and sat down at the table.
The Mad Hatter and The March Hare were so rude and asked such stupid riddles and questions that Alice finally got fed up. 'That was the stupidest tea party ever,' thought Alice as she walked away in disgust."

You closed the book shut and looked at Grace, who wore a disappointed look on her face. "That one shouldn't even count," she said, "because Daddy was the Mad Hatter in that show on the alphabet channel!" She exclaimed, referring to ABC Family and Once Upon a Time.

You glared at Sebastian for his past role and he shrugged apologetically. "Sorry," he whispered to you as you walked to the shelf to put the book away.

You walked back to Sebastian and grabbed him by the shoulder of his shirt, yanking him up from his sitting position.

"Ow!" He complained as you yanked him towards the doorway.

You looked back over your shoulder at your daughter and said, "Honey, we'll be back in a few moments! Ok?"

She mumbled an 'ok' and you yanked Seb into the hallway, shutting the door.

He rubbed on his shoulder and said, "What was that for?"

"We need a game plan," you said. "If she doesn't fall asleep then you and I won't get to do what we want to do," you said in a whisper.

His eyebrows shot up, as if he had just realized this, and then said, "You're right." He paced the hallway for a few moments and then offered, "What if we make up a story?"

You shook your head at the thought. "No, we need something original; something good; something about love-" and that's when the idea struck you. You were left in a paralyzed, happy state with a huge smile on your face.

"Y/N? What are you thinking? I know that look. So, what are you thinking?" He asked.

You looked at your husband who had a confused and concerned look on his face. You smiled like the Cheshire Cat as you said, "We should tell her the story of how we met."

**

"Sweetie, would you like to hear a new story?" You asked your daughter, sitting on the ground next to her bed. She nodded as Sebastian sat down next to you.

Sebastian winked at you, and you began the tale.

"Once upon a time, there was a woman, and there was a man," you began. "And, to make it even better," you leaned over to your daughter who had a huge smile on her face, "this man and woman are your parents."

Grace giggled and clapped her hands adorably.

"The woman, I mean Mommy," you began, "was just sitting at a table in a coffee shop all alone, just like your father." Grace giggled, picturing both her parents being fucking losers. (A/N: I'M SO SORRY BUT I THOUGHT OF IT THIS WAY AND I LAUGHED SO HARD)

Sebastian spoke up. "Because your father was being stood up-"

"Shh! I'm telling the story! Not you!" You interrupted your husband, earning a playful glare from him.

"Your mother was reading a book in the coffee shop, drinking her coffee as she normally did on Saturday mornings. She noticed a man sitting at a table all alone, looking really, really sad," you said to Grace with a pouty face. "So, after waiting a few minutes, your mommy went over to your father and sat down across from his as he was beginning to get up. He said something like-"

"Oh! I'm sorry if I was keeping the table from you," Sebastian piped in.

You nudged him with your elbow. "And your mother responded-"

"Oh! You're not keeping the table away from me! I just wanted to sit with you because you seemed so lonely," Sebastian interrupted in the highest voice he could do.

You sent him a glare, narrowing your eyes at him. You blocked your mouth with your hand so Grace couldn't see and you barely whispered, "If you keep interrupting me and making fun of me then I am not doing what you want me to do tonight."

Sebastian nodded with a frightened look on his face and you smiled, continuing your story. "So, your mommy and daddy began talking, and talking, and talking until the sky began to darken, but only slightly," you said, holding up your fingers and pinching them together. "And your father and mother didn't even exchange numbers," you said, opening your mouth as if you were in shock.

"You didn't even Snapchat?" Grace asked, shocked.

You shook your head. "We didn't even Snapchat."

You continued your story. "So, mommy and daddy parted ways and didn't give one another any form of communication. We waved goodbye after we were done talking and nothing more. Until," you paused, adding more effect, "daddy ran into mommy in Walmart. Literally," you emphasized, making Grace giggle. You looked to your left and saw Sebastian blushing. "As it turns out, daddy had been running away from some paparazzi and he actually ran into me. So, your father doesn't even apologize, but he picks up the things that I dropped and looks me in the eyes. And do you know what he says, Grace?" You looked to your daughter, who had her eyes closed, sleeping away.

You smiled and kissed her forehead, moving Mr. Bear slightly to fit her small arms better.

You stood up along with Sebastian and made your way to the doorway, shutting the light off. You almost closed the door, leaving an inch or two open, and made your way into your shared room with your husband.

Once in your room, he shut the door and you put your back to it, leaning on it slightly. He brought his face to yours, leaving an inch or two gap, and murmured, "And what did I say?"

You giggled and brought your hands around his neck. "Do you like Mexican food?" You responded, giggling.

He giggled and brought his lips to yours, giving you a passionate kiss. You kissed him back of course, with as much passion as you were receiving.

"And you did," he murmured against your lips. He picked you up and carried you to your shared bed, sitting you down.

You kissed him lightly before saying, "Now, about the things you wanted to do to me."

This sucks soooooo badddddddd!

I am so sorrrryyyyyy (I just imagined that all in a male opera voice)

And I'm sorry again for "Grace giggled as she pictured her parents being fucking losers" or something like that. Honestly, that made me laugh way too hard. I'll try to grow up next time.
