□■ Sebastian : Don't Go (Part 2) ■□

Why do I enjoy breaking your hearts?

Idk man.

I think I've made you wait long enough

"No! No!" You bang your fist repeatedly on the door that Sebastian had just shut. It seemed as though with each step he took away from the house, the more your heart broke. You fumbled with your purse laying beside the door and found your phone, dialing a number.

"Hello?" He said.

"Chris! Chris, oh my god I need your help." You sobbed into the phone.

"(Y/N)?! What's going on?" He asked worriedly.

"S-Sebastian thinks we w-were together while h-he was away." You said, trying to calm down your sobs.

"Oh my god." The other line was silent for a second. "I'm so, so sorry. I'll fix this I promise."

"No Chris wait-" but he hung up on you, leaving you to sob and cry at your front door.

Chris put his cell phone down and walked back into his living room, where Anthony Mackie was waiting.

"Who was that?" Anthony asked.

"(Y/N)." Chris answered. "I need your phone."

"Uh, why?"

"Because I need to save a marriage. Hand it over."

Anthony gave Chris a look as he hesitantly pulled his phone out of his pocket and handed it to Chris. Chris was quick to find Sebastian in Anthony's contacts, and pressed the dial button.

After five rings, he finally answered.

"Anthony, man I need to talk to you." Sebastian said, his voice strained.

"Sebastian, you need to listen right now." Chris said. Sebastian stiffened on the park bench he was sitting on, not expecting to hear his former friend's vooce.

"Why should I listen to you?" Sebastian spat, rage filling his head.

"Because you're about to make the biggest mistake of your lifetime."

Sebastian was then intrigued. Angry, but intrigued. So, he stayed quiet and listened.

"(Y/N) and I went to lunch while you were away. She was missing you, and needed company. Of course the internet and tabloids blew it up. You know that. So why are you running? Stop being a jerk and go apologize. You're an idiot for thinking anything went on between us." Chris finished his rant with confidence, hoping it had worked in convincing his friend to go home.

"I can't go home." Sebastian said quietly. "I cant. Not after what I said."

"Screw whatever you said. You need to make it up to her."

"Well," Sebastian sighed, "How do I know you're telling the truth, huh? How do I know you're not lying?"

"You don't." Chris said simply. "You just need to trust your wife. The woman who married you because she loves you enough to spend the rest of her life with you."

"Yeah, that's why she came to you." Sebastian said sarcastically.

"But she didn't! That's what you're not getting, Sebastian! She wouldn't do that! She loves you so much. So much. You continue even imagine."

Sebastian was silent, letting all the information sink in.

"I'm done talking to you." Sebastian said, hanging up the phone before Chris could say another word. He put his head in his hands and thought. Was it really just press coverage? Why did he beleive it was real? Why couldn't he trust you?

It was then that he felt the guilt. The weight crash down. He hadn't trusted you, the one person he told everything to, the one person he leaned on when he couldn't stand by himself, the one person he loved with all of his heart.

Why did he beleive a news article? Why was he letting the tabloids destroy his marriage?

He looked at his naked ring finger, the weird feeling of emptiness filling his mind. He couldn't go home. Not after what he said, what he accused you of. He couldn't bear to see you so hurt. No, he couldn't go home. Not yet.

Meanwhile, you cried on the couch with a bottle of scotch. It had been two hours since Sebastian left, and you had finally calmed down enough to think straight. Your first thought was to call him, to talk everything out, so that's what you did. You found your phone on the floor by your purse and pressed his speed dial.

Sebastian saw your caller ID, contemplating whether or not he should answer. After six rings, he pressed the send button.

"Yes?" He said gently.

"Please come home." You said, feeling the tears begin to return. "Please come back. I need you, Sebastian. Please don't leave me." Your voice stretched and strained as you began to cry again.

Sebastian's heart broke as he listened to your sobs, cursing himself over and over again. He felt his own tears spring into his eyes.

"O-Okay, baby," He comforted, "it's okay. I-I'm coming home. I'm so sorry." He let a sob escape his lips. "I'm so sorry, (Y/N)."

"Just come back. I forgive y-you. Please just c-come back."

"I'm coming h-home, love. I'm coming." He hung up quickly, unable to listen to you cry any longer. With a sniffle and wiping away a tear, he began to walk briskly down the sidewalk to your home.

He used his key to unlock the door, immediately hearing your cries from down the hall. He figured you were in your bedroom, so he quietly shut the door and walked to the kitchen. He searched the counter, trying to find His ring, muttering a string of curses when it was nowhere to be found.

He sighed and continued on to your shared bedroom, where you were. He slowly opened the door and walked in, finding you curled in a ball, sobbing while clutching onto his pillow.

"S-Sebastian!" You cried when he walked in, sitting up and opening your arms. He rushed into them, holding you tightly as you cried into each other's shoulders, saying how sorry you both were.

After a few minutes, you pulled away slightly and opened your balled up hand, revealing the silver wedding ring that used to be on his finger. He stared at it as tears slipped out of his eyes.

"I don't deserve you." He said quietly. "I don't deserve someone like you."

"No, don't say that." You choked out. "Take it, please. Please take it."

"I can't. I can't live with how I've hurt you."

"I don't care. Put it on. Please." You begged. He shook his head and looked away, closing his eyes as his lips trembled.

"Sebastian." You said, your voice progressively become more and more choppy from your sobs. "I don't care if you think you deserve this or not. I don't care if you think you've hurt me. I need you to take it. I need you because... because it hurts more to imagine you not being with me than to keep you here. I need you here. You leaving only proved that more."

He turned to you, his beautiful blue eyes red and swollen. He shakily held up his left hand, and you slowly slipped his ring back on his finger, keeping your gaze locked with his.

"In sickness and health, for better or for worse, I will love you, Sebastian Stan." You whispered.

"And I will love you, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, (Y/N) (Y/L/N)." He whispered back.

You smiled slightly and softly connected your lips with his, a kiss filled with love and salty tears. It spoke all of the words you would never be able to speak. All you knew was that you loved your husband, and you would do anything to keep him with you.
