Yay! Got a few questions, thank you all. And just remember, if you ever want to ask me something or talk to someone, I'm here. I'm here for you guys.
:)
Let's get started!
● What was your first fandom, being the first fanfiction you ever read/wrote?
Well, I started this wattpad account so, so long ago. It wasn't until I saw Guardians of the galaxy that I got back on. I had fallen in love with Chris Pratt, because of that role. It was my first time delving into fanfiction territory- I had only tried to read and write teen fiction before. But, I started searching for GOTG fanfiction, and there wasn't many so I tried writing my own. Needles to say, it was beyond horrible. So cliche, so gross. So, I guess the first time I really became a fan girl was over Marvel.
● How did you come across Sebastian Stan and all of his characters?
Okay, so, I saw Captain America in theatres when I was younger. I was totally crazy over Steve to begin with, because he reminded me of my great grandfather- a chef In the second world war, who was just a Brooklyn boy with a rather large mouth, who joined the navy at the age 16, refusing to take no for an answer. So yes, I first saw Bucky. Then, I started watching OUAT, and I saw Jefferson. I was like, "I like him. He's cool." Please keep in mind, I am a weird, asexual potato, and boys were NOT on my mind at the time of these two. (However if I saw Seb I feel like I would not be asexual for a quick moment). Then, last July, in 2015, I saw winter soldier and was completely shocked with how amazing Sebastian's acting was. It blew me away. So I looked him up, watched Political Animals on Netflix, fell in love, then the downward spiral continued.
● What helps you write?
Keeps me writing.... hmm... well, I usually use outside inspiration for everything I write. I mean, I'll be making cereal and think, "I wonder what would happen if Bucky walked in right now?" Or, "How could a dramatic sense be added to my making of cereal?" I mean, it's all just creative thinking. But it's really constant. Almost every second of the day, I'm picking up quotes I like off the TV, I'm thinking of situations and scenarios that could be entertaining. So honestly, it's just a constant state of thinking.
● What motivates you to write?
Like I've said so many times before, all of you guys. Of of my readers that support me and keep me smiling no matter what kind of day I'm having. Also, as fan girl-ish and obsessive as this seems, Sebastian does in a way. All my life, I've wanted people to be proud of me. I've wanted to be a respectable person. I want to be a role model. And, I look up to Seb. He said at that interview he just did at Comic con that he signed up for writing classes. He wanted to do something, and he did it. So that's what I think about to keep me writing. Sometimes I don't want to, but i have to remind myself that this is something that could possibly become a career, and i need to work for it and stick to it.
● What made you start liking Sebastian?
As I've said before, I really discovered him when I watched TWS. And I fell in love with his pure talent immediately. Then it was the storyline of Bucky and Steve, and how their relationship changed. Honestly, I first became slightly obsessed with Chris Evans (this was all after the GOTG phase), and Steve Rogers. Then I looked into Bucky's storyline more and was completely sold. I continued to learn that Seb played Jefferson in OUAT, and he was my favorite character, so that pushed me towards him more. You know the rest of the story.
● What is/are your favorite roles Sebastian has portrayed?
My personal favorite is his acting in Political Animals as TJ Hammond. He was just so... emotional and just overall excellent. He made me cry more in that miniseries than I did when I saw TWS. Crazy, right? But there's also Bucky and Chris Beck, who both hold a special place in my heart because I know their characters. And because I can write about them pretty easily. I've analyzed the character of Bucky too much to be healthy, and Chris' character is pretty apparent in the movie The Martian, and I use that character since I haven't read the book. But yeah, TJ is my all time favorite.
● If you met Sebastian Stan, what would you say?
After the initial shock, I'd tell him how much he means to me. Because he deserves to know. He deserves to know how many friends he has made me, how many things I've discovered about myself because of him (like how I want to join the Air Force and strive to do what I want to do no matter what), and how he has led me to writing, which is a huge part of my life. Honestly, one of my biggest fears is not telling everyone I know how much they mean to me. Not being able to tell them I love them. So, that's the first thing I would tell him. He would think I'm completely bonkers, but i don't care. He deserves to know.
● If you could create your own villian/hero, what would their name/abilities be?
I would create a hero. Let's name her (because there aren't enough badass women as superheroes), Penelope Miña, because why not to a Hispanic background. She a normal woman, but can kick butt. But her ability is her words. She would be able to convey any feeling or thought in her words. And people would listen. Because superheroes don't have to be able to fly or have laser vision, they just have to benefit the world. Change the world. Whether that's by ending world hunger or sparing a dollar for a homeless man, they're still heroes.
● What is your ultimate OTP?
This is actually hard to answer... probably...I don't know... honestly, my OTPs aren't that strong. I don't really like Stucky or Winter Widow only because of my undying and unhealthy love for Bucky, but I kinda ship Steve and that waiter he saved in the first avengers. Idk. Super random.
● What inspired you to start writing?
THE LACK OF FANFICTION. I mean, I couldn't find much decent fanfiction about GOTG when I was into that, so I began writing about Peter Quill. I read almost every Captain America fanfic, so I tried writing my own. I had a Marvel preferences at one time, but I hated it. I had a Loki fanfic at one time, but it's deleted. So, I looked up Bucky and I could barely find anything so I started this book. Look where it's gotten me now!
● Favorite band/artist?
Panic! At the Disco all day everyday. But I listen to all kinds of music, from panic, to NOFX, to jazz, to oldies, to classical, to opera, to a bit of screamo. But mostly the only screamo I listen to is Crown The Empire, simply because their lyrics are amazing. Also, I'm a band kid. Music obsessed. So I listen to the actual music more than the lyrics. Weird like that.
● Favorite color?
Maroon. A purple-ish maroon
● When did you realize you wanted to join the army?
I've wanted to join ever since I knew what it was. I always did. But I'm not active, I'm not athletic, so I gave up on it. Then my closest cousin began ROTC, and is planning on becoming a marine. And that gave me a push. Then I saw people at school in their uniforms. That gave me another push. I realized I love the fictional characters of Bucky and Steve so much because I wanted to be like them, I wanted to be heroes like them, I wanted to sacrifice for those I loved. And that sent me off the ledge. I don't need to be active. Athletic. I don't need to be perfect. I realized I can do this if I wanted to. And that's exactly what I'm doing.
