Sebastian and Rachel are best friends, and have been since they met at the Lima Bean with Blaine and Kurt. Rachel was always trying to mess up Sebastian's plans of going after Blaine. They always quarrelled and Rachel always took Sebastian away to leave Klaine in peace, from there Sebastian found out a lot about Rachel, and found out the real Rachel and not the one she pretends to be for the sake of others, and slowly out of nowhere Sebastian started to fall for Rachel and even question his sexuality, and determined he's just unlabelled because to him labels are overrated and only belong on clothes.

Sebastian was currently sitting in Rachel's room on her bed and watched Rachel with love and awe as she was talking about Broadway and musicals. He wasn't sure. His demeanour changed when Rachel brought up Finn. Rachel smiled widely and said

"Finn asked me out again, can you believe that Sebby?" Sebastian fake smiled and said

"No I can't believe it." Rachel squealed in excitement

"I'm so happy about it. I think he's also going to propose to me soon too." Sebastian quickly said

"What makes you think that Broadway?" Rachel sat down on her bed and looked at Sebastian

"He's acting very weird lately, and acting more awkward than normal, plus he asked me to meet him in McKinley's auditorium tonight as well." Sebastian couldn't believe what's hearing and said

"And you'll be saying no right?" Rachel shook her head no and said

"I won't be. I love him, so I'm going to say yes. I'm obliged to do so." Sebastian reached for Rachel's hand.

"No you aren't. You have a choice. You are special and incredible Rach. Plus aren't you the girl that wants to wait until after she wins her first Tony award to get married." Rachel thought about it and said

"I am, but plans change. Plus it's Finn, and you know how much I love him Sebby." Sebastian knew how much she loved Finn all too well. Sebastian wished she didn't have to see her fall for the giant oaf all over again for her to just get hurt again. Sebastian loves her and wishes she could just make him her man.

Feelings for her came out of nowhere but he put them aside for Finn to make Rachel happy as all he ever wants is to make her happy even if it's not with him.

Rachel looked at the time and then turned to Sebastian

"You should go, as I have to get ready to meet Finn tonight." Sebastian got up from Rachel's bed, placed a hand on her cheek and said

"Don't take this the wrong way, but I want you to be happy, and really think about this okay, and just know I'm always here." Playing pretend. He thought. Rachel leaned into Sebastian's touch and said

"I'm promise, and I know you are Sebby." Sebastian looked at Rachel one more time, taking in her beauty, and then leaving for Dalton.

As Sebastian got back to Dalton and went to his dorm, he threw his phone on his bed and sat down with his hands in head upset and sick of playing pretend with Rachel and wanting to date her and being the one to ask her to marry him. He laid back and thought

Finn always gets everything.

Hunter walked out of their shared bathroom, and saw Sebastian laying on his bed.

"Did you tell her Smythe?" Sebastian shakes his head

"I didn't Clarington. And i might lose my chance as he's going to propose to her and she's going to say yes. He always gets everything always." Hunter didn't know what to say to his Warbler captain. He knew Sebastian has it rough with falling for Rachel who follows Finn around. Hunter walked over, sat on his bed and said

"I can't imagine what you're going through. But have hope." Sebastian glared at Hunter and said

"Easy for you to say. Fabray actually loves you back. Rachel doesn't even see me as anything more." Hunter sighs

"Just don't give up Smythe." Sebastian stayed silent and thought about Rachel.

Meanwhile with Rachel. She arrived at McKinley and walked to the auditorium where she was supposed to meet up with Finn. As she got there, she heard a voice

"When are you going to break up with the midget and be with me? I can give you a good time remember"

Rachel knew that voice. She knew it was Santana. She waited for Finn to reply

"I will. That's why I asked her to meet me here." Rachel couldn't believe it. She really couldn't. She felt so stupid. She ran out of the auditorium crying. Rachel couldn't believe him.

Rachel took out her phone and messages Finn that it was over. After she messaged Finn. She saw a picture message from Sebastian

Rachel smiled at the message and replied

So it's a date now?

Rachel read all their messages since they became best friends, and realised that maybe she went after the wrong boy, as without her realising it she did fall for the former Dalton Bad Boy. And if Puck knew he would just smirk and say knew the bad boy entices you my American Jewish Princess.

Rachel walked to her car now smiling and going to her Dalton Bad Boy. She reached her car when her phone chimed

Rachel now knew in her gut that it was always Sebastian.

Hunter looked over at Sebastian and saw him smiling

"What are you happy about Smythe?" Sebastian glanced over at Hunter

"Rachel's coming over." Hunter shook his head and said

"Like that's news. She's always here or your always at her dads place with her." Sebastian shakes his head

"This is different." Hunter looked at Sebastian

"You want me to leave?" Sebastian nodded his head

"Please." Hunter closed his book, put shoes on and packed a bag.

"I'll be at Quinn's if you need me." Hunter walked to the door and came face to face with Rachel on his way out and smiles

"He's in the dorm." Hunter stepped aside for Rachel and started to leave but paused to wait to see what happened between the two best friends.

Sebastian smiled at Rachel and then saw her hand his fell

"What happened?" Rachel embarrassingly spoke

"I went to the auditorium to meet him and he was already there with Santana and he was also going to break up with me for Santana. I just left and dumped him first and then saw your message and came here, as seeing your message and our past messages made me realise something." Sebastian stepped closer to Rachel and spoke

"Made you realise what?" Rachel looked up at him, stepped closer to close the space and said

"That I have feelings for you. And it's always been you." Sebastian smiled widely and kissed her. When they pulled apart, Sebastian hugged her and said

"I have feelings for you too. It's always been you. I don't have to play pretend anymore. Be my girl Rach?" Rachel hugged Sebastian back and said

"I'm always your Girl Sebby." Sebastian then picked up Rachel and placed her on his bed. They cuddled and watched Disney movies.

Hunter left smiling knowing that Sebastian was happy as he finally got his girl and doesn't have to play pretend anymore.
