Lament, Languish
I long for apricity in this cold and icy life
I long for euphoria, to end my unending strife
I long for somebody to complete me, explain
Why I must suffer, why I mourn in vain.
I long for a denouement, a rainbow after the storm.
I long for a feeling of fulfilment, of reform
I long for a panacea to extinguish this pain
Of a space hollow, a fire beginning to wane.
I long to know who you are, are you someone I know?
Are you lissom and graceful, a sight to adore?
Are you a soul ethereal with an embrace elysian?
A healer? A soul-reviving, heart-mending artisan?
Or are you a passion, a philosophy I yearn to pursue?
A subject I love, a life I dream to start anew?
Are you the path I ignored but once loved long ago?
For I am but a pathetic paradoxical soul, if so.
A past I do not know, an ephialtes of indelible gore
A story long-forgotten but haunting me forevermore
I lament for a star uncharted, a light I never saw
I languish after a soul unknown, a faceless glow.
I grieve for a comforting cloak of love I never wore.
A/N: LOL no explanations for this one and all else anymore, just know I get the weirdest contemplations.
